A device for coating steel pipes with tubular films of thermoplastic containing an extrusion head with a slotted mouthpiece, a low pressure chamber 10 and a sealing sleeve located at the end of the chamber co. side of the inlet [1].
A disadvantage of the device is that when the heated pipe 15 passes through the sealing collar, rubber particles remain on it, which leads to an unstable connection of the tubular film to the pipe surface.
The purpose of the invention - improved Ka 2 0-operation by increasing the strength of the bond coating to the pipe surface.
This goal is achieved by the fact that in the device for coating steel pipes with tubular films of thermoplastic, containing an extrusion head with a slotted mouthpiece, a low-pressure chamber and a sealing collar located at the end of the chamber from the inlet side, the sealing collar is provided with ring rings that are tightly adjacent to each other washers made of sheet steel spring, made around the inner circumference in the form of lamellar reeds formed by radial cuts, spring-loaded to the pipe surface.

The device comprises an extrusion die 1 with slotted mouthpieces 2 and 3. The device operates as follows.
The steel pipe 11 is supplied through a conically expanded pipe 16 to a low pressure chamber 4, in which a reduced pressure of about 500 mm Hg is created between the extruding head 1 from the annular slotted mouthpiece 2 of the extrusion head 1 and the pipe surface 11, due to which the film without air 10 'n bubbles closely adheres to the surface of the pipe.
