The two-stage extruder contains two perpendicularly located with 5 s; extrusion stages with each other blasted with mercury relative to each other, the first one of which is located vertically, and the second one - horizontally.

Vertical stage 1 (Fig. 2) contains a feed funnel 8, into which the press material is metered from the hopper 9 by means of a dispensing screw 10.
The feed screw 4 is provided with spaced between the sections of the screw thread 11 displaced relative to each other in the circumferential direction by kneading 35 disk-shaped elements 12, which can be oval, elliptical or triangular in shape. Cylindrical pins 13 are placed between the kneading disk-shaped elements 12 and entering into the grooves 14, made on the feed screw 4 or opposite the round disks 15 placed between a pair of disk-shaped elements 12. The presence of a rotatable sleeve provides for regulation of the pressure of the plastic and, thus, the processing time of the mass, shear intensity and temperature of the mass. The cross section of the connecting channel 30 is varied by rotating the sleeve 23, and the pressure in the vertical stage 1 of the extruder is adjusted. The through hole 26 of the rotatable sleeve 23 can be aligned with an additional outlet 31 communicated with free space, whereby the rotary sleeve 23 can be used as a trigger valve.
