As shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the stirrup has two outer portions 22, 24, each formed with pairs of cylinders 25, 40, respectively, and an intermediate portion 23 formed with a pair of cylinders 30 facing cylinders 25 and a further pair of cylinders 31 facing cylinders 40. Cylinders 25 and 30 have a common fluid supply 45 while cylinders 31 and 40 have a separate supply 46. The stirrup portions are recessed to accommodate the pads 28, 34, 38, 43 and are held together by bolts 21a, 21b, 21c. For a 3-disc brake, two intermediate portions arranged as shown in Fig. 11 are provided. Shims may be arranged between the stirrup portions and the outer two portions may be used together to form a conventional disc brake.

The invention relates to vehicle braking devices.
Multidisc le brakes are known for automobiles containing two rotating disks arranged coaxially and associated with the rotor, and a fixed bracket attached to; a stator and consisting of two external parts located outside the disks and provided each with one-sided hydraulic cylinders for clamping friction lining to the corresponding disk, and one intermediate part located between the disks and equipped with one-sided hydraulic cylinders for pressing the friction lining for disks C1.
The known brake has large dimensions, while the fastening of the parts of the bracket made in it and their location do not provide sufficient structural strength.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the structural strength and reduce the size. .
This goal is achieved by the fact that the hydraulic cylinders of the intermediate part of the bracket, pressing the friction linings to adjacent disks, are offset around the circumference of each other, the external and intermediate parts of the bracket are located in the angular sector of 180 °, and the intermediate part of the bracket is fixed on the outer parts along the apex of the triangle.
Figure 1 schematically shows a brake with two discs; in Fig.2 10 section aa in Fig.1; Fig. 3 shows BB in Fig. 1; 4 shows a brake with three discs.
In the two-disk version (Figures 1-3), the brake contains

The intermediate part 9 is equipped with four one-way hydraulic cylinders, with two hydraulic cylinders 16 working with friction linings 17 pressed against disk 1, and two others 18 with similar plates 19 pressed against disk 2. PISTONs 20 in cylinders 16 and 18 are respectively placed around a circle one after another, but the pistons 20 are axially opposed to the pistons 21. In the embodiment with three discs (Fig. 4, the brake contains an additional disc 22 and two intermediate parts 23 and 24, similar to the one according to Fig. 1-3.

used to compose a monodisk brake.
Parts 7, 8 and 9 of the bracket 4 are placed in the angular sector of 180 °, with the intermediate part 9 fastened to the outer parts along the tips of the triangle with bolts 25, which contributes to a particularly reliable and durable fastening.
The rotor 3 wheels and brakes are mounted on the bridge 26 by means of rolling bearings 27. The rotor 3 is installed, the cover 28, the rim 29 and the tire 30. The disks 1 and 2. Attach the bolts 31 to the rotor.
Hydraulic cylinders 10 and 16, which operate with disk 1, are powered by pipeline 32, and hydraulic cylinders 11 and 18, which operate with wild 2, are independently powered by a separate pipeline 33, which allows for reliable braking. Cylinders 10 and 16, as well as 11 and 18 are disposed against each other, which allows for each disc to provide symmetric compression conditions conducive to braking. There are spacers 34 and 35 placed between the parts of the clip 4, allowing the use of a brake with discs of different thickness.
The cylinders 16 of the intermediate part 9 are thickened circumferentially with respect to the cylinders 18 of the same part, with all the cylinders 16 and 18 each axially located at a depth that is close to the thickness of the intermediate part. The depth of the sockets for friction clutches 17 and 19 is greater than the base of the cylinders 16 and 18. Such an arrangement of the cylinders of the intermediate part 9 ensures minimum brake dimensions.
The brake design provides favorable cooling conditions - because the lower parts of the disks 1 and 2 are open to the incoming-ventilating air, while the clip 4 and the hydraulic power supply system are protected from weather and weather, as they are located only in the upper half of the brake. . The versatility of the brace and brake parts allows for two-person vehicles on the rear axle to use, for example, two-do-claim brakes, and on the front axle - monodisk brakes.
