专利摘要:
An automatic tool changer for machine tools in which a tool changer drum (40) is rotatably mounted on a machine tool for rotation about an axis (42) which is perpendicular to the spindle axis thereof. A plurality of tool changer arms (46) are swingably mounted on the tool changer drum (40) for swinging movement along radii of the drum (40) between a storage position parallel to the plane (50) of the drum (40) and a transfer position perpendicular to the plane (50) of the drum (40). A pneumatic cylinder (90) is used to index the tool changer drum (40) to place any selected tool changer arm (46) in the ready position (92). Another pneumatic cylinder (96) is used to swing the ready tool changer arm (46). Before the tool transfer operation, the spindle is moved to a tool transfer position in which the swinging movement of the tool changer arm (46) either places a tootholder in the spindle or removes a toolholder therefrom.

专利说明:

The invention relates to a machine tool industry, in particular, to a device for automatically changing machine tools in a machine spindle.
A device for automatic tool changing in a cutting machine is known, comprising tool-store, the shank axes of which are perpendicular to the axis of the cutting machine spindle, and means of fixing the tool magazine and transferring the latter from the tool store to the spindle of the cutting machine 1.
The disadvantages of the known device include the complexity of its design, since to change the tools it requires a two-jawed mechanical arm, requiring drive and control mechanisms that provide 1: 1 complex cycle of its work.
The purpose of the invention is to simplify the design of the device.
This goal is achieved by the fact that, in an automatic tool changer, the tool transfer tool from the tool magazine to the spindle of the cutting machine is made in the form of levers, each of which is pivotally mounted in the shop of the cutting machine and has a pivot mechanism installed in the position of the changeer. a tool on a stationary base of the magazine with the possibility of interaction with the mechanisms of rotation of the levers, and the number of said levers
15 equals the number of tool positions in the store.
FIG. 1 shows a machine mounted on a vertical machining center; in fig. 2 - the same view
20 from the side; in fig. 3 - the same, top view; in fig. 4 - the same, in the position of the transfer tool, read the front; in fig. 5 - magazine for tool change, partial vertical section; on
25 of FIG. 6 is a view A of FIG. five; in fig. 7 lever for interchangeable tool, partial front vertical section; in fig. 8 is a partial view B of FIG. 7
The device is mounted on a vertical machine 1, which includes a frame 2, a rack 3 mounted to move along a bed 2 along horizontal guides, a head 5 mounted so as to move along a rack 3 along vertical guides 6, a spindle. 7, table 8, movably mounted on the bed 2 along the guides 9 together with various motor, transmissions and electrically (eic control means
(not shown) to ensure its operation. The spindle 7 is arranged so that it can be mounted with the tool holders 10 and to provide machining of a predetermined detail 1 (not shown), which is fixed on the table 8 using conventional means (not shown).
The tool changer includes a base 11, which is attached to one end of the bed 2 and vertically disposed parallel to the rack 3. The tool changer store 12 (Figures 5 and 6J is mounted on the base 11 rotatably about a horizontal axis 13, perpendicular to the axis spindle 7 and has a circular configuration and an annular drive 1 attached to its periphery. In addition, it contains a number of levers 15 for changing tools that are rotatable attached along its periphery to move along the radius of m Between the non-operating position parallel to the central plane-16 of the magazine 12 (as shown by the dashed lines in Fig. 1) and the gear position perpendicular to the central plane 16 (as shown by the drawn lines in Fig. 7). Each lever 15 of the device for tool changers are pivotally mounted in the housing 17 of the lever 15 turning mechanism and the axis 18 including the toothed sector 19 engaging the toothed rack 20 moving in the housing 17. The housing 17 is rigidly fixed to the magazine 12 with bolts 21.
The toothed rail 20 has a spring 22 and a plunger 23 with a screw 2k for adjusting the final position of the lever 15 of the interchangeable tool.
Each of the levers 15 of the interchangeable tool is equally mounted in the magazine 12 and is equipped with a sector 19, a toothed rack 20 and a plunger 23 for rotating the lever 15 between its non-working and transfer positions.
The outer end of each of the levers 15 has a semicircular plug 25 (Fig. ЗЛ formed on it, and a semicircular clamp 26 attached to it to fix the tool holder 10. Each clamp 26 has a main plate 27 that is attached to the end of the lever 15 with screws 28 The ends 5 of each of the clips 26 are bent so that the holder, 10 tools and the tool itself can be fixed to counteract the force of gravity, so that they will not fall out of the clips 2b.
Store 12 for a replaceable tool (Figs. 5 and 6) provides a series of circularly arranged index holes 29 interacting with the index pin 30, which is provided by a pneumatic cylinder 31. Typically, the index pin 30 is hooked into one of the index holes 29. For indexing the magazine 12 pneumatic 0 cylinder 31, pin 30 is withdrawn from the corresponding index hole 29 and removed from the store 12 while it is being indexed. At the end of the indexing index index 30 is installed in the new index from 29 Dietz on the same level with him.
The magazine 12 is indexed by the rack 32. 8), which leads the gear 33- The gear 33 is connected to another gear 3 (FIG. 7) by means of the overload clutch 35. The gear 3 captures the ring drive 1t in the form of an internal gear gear and thus rotates when the rack 32 moves. The rail 32 moves to the right (Fig. 6JC using the pneumatic cylinder Zb. During the forward movement of the pneumatic cylinder 36, the magazine 12 rotates along an arc equal to the angle between adjacent levers 15. When the pneumatic cylinder 36 returns, the magazine 12 remains stationary, 5 due to the operation of the coupling 35, connected between gear 33 and Jik. Each movement of the pneumatic cylinder 36 moves the magazine
12 to one lever 15 until the predetermined lever 15 is in the desired position, which is determined by the opening 37 in the housing 38 surrounding the outer ends of the levers 15.
The lever 15, which is in the ready position, rotates upwards along an arc of 90 ° using a pneumatic cylinder 39, having a plunger 0, abutting against the end of the adjusting screw 2k and pressing the plunger 23, which causes the rotation of the lever 15 using the ZO rail and sector 19 (Fig. 7). The plunger tO has a flange 1 which captures the lever 42 of the body of the limit switch 3 to show whether the lever 15 is in an inoperative position parallel to the central plane 16 of the magazine 12 or in a transitional position perpendicular to the plane 16. The flange kk on the plunger 23 works in conjunction with the flange 41. Housing switch 3 contains two switches, one of which is closed when lever 15 is in the transitional position and the other when lever 15 is in the inoperative position. Both switches are opened when lever 2 passes through the neutral position.
On the plunger 5 of the toothed rack 32, a flange 6 is mounted (Fig. 6) to grip the lever 17 of the limit switch 8, which indicates the position of the rack 32.
The device works as follows.
To install the tool in the spindle 7, the stand 3 and the head 5 first move to a transitional position for the tool, in which the spindle 7 is set so as to receive the tool holder 10 supplied by the lever 15 when it turns to the gear position of the tool (Fig. K). Then, the pneumatic cylinder 36 makes a reciprocating movement as many times as necessary in order to index the magazine 12 to install the predetermined lever 15 to the ready position. Each stroke of the pneumatic cylinder Zb indexes magazine 12 at an arc equal to the distance between the levers 15. Pneumatic cylinder 31 reversely moves before each stroke of the Zb cylinder to release the centering pin 30 from the corresponding hole 29 and then afterwards moves forward to re-engage. the pin 30 in the bore 29. When the predetermined lever 15 is set to the standby position, the pneumatic cylinder 39 makes a translational motion to move the predetermined lever 15 from its inactive position in transition (.fig ,. A). In this way, the specified tool holder 10 is mounted on 3 spindle 7. After this, the clamp for the tool holder in spindle 7 is activated to secure it. The rack 3 and the head 5 are pushed aside, from the lever 15, to the left of FIG. k) for pulling the holder 10 from the holder clamp 26 on the lever 15. The tool in the holder 10 is then used in the operation of the machine. In machining, the lever 15 remains in its transitional position.
After finishing the machining and, if necessary, in another tool B, spindle 7, the column 3 and the head 5 are moved back to the transfer position (Fig. K). When they reach the tool transition position to the gear position, the movement of the stand 3 and the head 5 causes the tool holder 10 to snap into the clamp 26 on the lever 15. After that, the tool holder clamp in the spindle 7 is released and the pneumatic cylinder 39 returns to its original position. The pneumatic cylinders 36 and 31 are then actuated as many times as necessary to index the magazine 12 to install the next predetermined tool holder 10 into the ready position. The selected tool holder 10 is then transferred to the spindle 7 as indicated above, after which the machining cycle is repeated.
