专利摘要:
A lock spindle blind fastener, formed of a suitable, related metal, which includes a mandrel, a sleeve and a locking collar in which the sleeve has a countersunk head having an under head included angle greater than the included angle of the as-prepared hole and in which the sleeve head has a straight counterbore for the initial reception of the locking collar, communicating with an entrant resistance angle for reception of the collar during setting. Such entrant resistance angle is less than the under head angle. The relationship of these angles is such as to permit the use of a single action, or non-shifting head, setting tool. Also, such angular relationship assures an effective lock between the mandrel, or spindle, and the sleeve when the fastener has been set.

专利说明:

The invention relates to machine parts, in particular to countersunk fastening devices, and can be used in various fields of technology to ensure a tight connection of parts of flat surfaces.
Traction-type fasteners are known for connecting parts in which the outer part has a counter-drilled hole, a hollow sleeve with a countersunk head, in which an input socket is made, a mandrel installed in the sleeve cavity with the possibility of its movement, and a locking ring [1].
The disadvantage of this device is the low efficiency of use of the mounting device, which does not provide a sufficiently tight- connection of parts.
A secret fastening device with a traction-type clamping rod is also known for connecting parts in which the outer part has a ~ 2 forged opening containing a hollow sleeve, in which a recess in the form of a truncated cone with a coverage angle smaller than the angle of coverage of the countersunk head is made, and the inner, the angle of the countersunk head is made larger than the internal angle of the countersink hole, the mandrel installed in the cavity of the sleeve with the possibility of its longitudinal movement, on the surface of which an annular locking to armand, and an annular locking sleeve covering the mandrel, which is located in the inlet socket of the countersunk head with the possibility of its placement in the lock pocket of the mandrel when moving its end beyond the outer surface of the countersunk head [2].
A disadvantage of the known device is that it does not have a cylindrical counterbore in the inlet socket of the countersunk head, which eliminates the possibility of deformation of the wall of the hole with the counterbore with the formation of a rear cone that blocks the mandrel due to the interaction of the tool deformed when it is pulled by the locking ring with the locking pocket of the mandrel and the rear cone of the hole with a counterbore in the countersunk head, which in turn provides upsetting of the countersunk head until it makes tight contact with the razz nkovannym hole.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the efficiency of use of the mounting device.
This goal is achieved by the fact that in the secret mounting device of the traction type, the socket of the countersunk head is made with a cylindrical recess located between the outer surface of the specified head and the thrust portion of the socket, the inner angle of the conical surface of the socket of the countersunk head is approximately 80 °, and the surface of the socket a countersunk head with a cylindrical counterbore after installing the fastening device forms a cone with a rear angle equal to about 3 ° relative to the axis of the fastener construction, and the lower conical surface of the countersunk head is installed with the possibility of full angular contact with the countersink hole of the outer part.
Figure 1 shows a mounting device installed in pre-prepared holes of parts to be fixed together, the locking flange of the mounting device is captured by the front end of the installation tool, before installing the mounting device, a vertical cut; in Fig.2 - plane 2-2, section, 'n & Fig.Z - node I in Fig.1,' in Fig.4 - mounting device in the intermediate installation stage, section, 'in Fig.5 - node And in Fig .4; Fig. b - mounting device in the final installation position, a section in Fig. 7 - node ij <in Fig. &.
The flush mounting device comprises parts 1 and 2, fastened together and having centered holes 3. The outer part 1 contains a countersink hole 4, which usually has an angle of 100 ± 1 °.
The proposed mounting device 5 comprises a hollow sleeve b and a mandrel
7. The hollow sleeve 6 has a countersunk head 8, comprising a tubular part of the housing 9 made integrally longitudinally extending. The lower surface 10 of the countersunk head 8 is formed with an internal angle of 106 ± 2 °. The countersunk head 8 has an input socket 11 with a straight, cylindrical wall at the entrance. Part of the wall of the inlet ^ nest 11 communicates with the conical ynopi & iM section 12, which creates resistance at the entrance, which has an internal angle of approximately 80 °.
Passing inwardly, the end of the tubular nut of the housing 9 has a central hole 13 ending near the upper end of the cylindrical part 14 of a small internal diameter, which forms an annular thrust protrusion 15,
The mandrel 7 is located inside the hollow sleeve 6 and moves longitudinally in it, and the mandrel is equipped with an annular head 16 at its inner end, which abuts against the inner end of the hollow sleeve 6 when the countersunk head 8 is formed.
The end 17 of the mandrel 7 protrudes beyond the countersunk head 8. This protruding end is gripped in the usual way using a pulling device. The mandrel 7 is provided with an annular protrusion 18, which forms a stop, which abuts against the corresponding annular abutment protrusion 15 on the hollow sleeve 6, restricting the movement of the mandrel 7. In the mandrel 7, an annular lock pocket 20 is formed between the protrusion 18 and the closed annular groove for braking 19.
The locking collar 21 in the shape of a circular ring covers the mandrel and is located inside the input socket 11. The engagement between the wall of the input socket 11 and the surface of the locking collar ensures that the locking collar will be held in direct alignment during installation of the mounting device.
The sequence of installation operations of the mounting device is shown in comparison with figures 1 and 4 and in corresponding sections in an enlarged scale.
The fastening device 5 is inserted into the holes 3, while the countersunk head 8 is essentially flush with the outer surface of the part or panel 1 and with the lower surface 10 passing adjacent to the countersink hole 4 and facing the latter (Fig. 1).
The outer end of the locking collar is gripped by the protruding end of the nose 22 of a conventional traction tool with a simple action. Only the front of this tool is shown, because its design and purpose are well known in the art. The protruding end 17 of the mandrel 7 is gripped inside the installation tool for pulling the mandrel, while a counteracting force is applied to the locking collar 21 from the protruding front end on the nose 22 of the tool.
I
In the initial position (FIG. 3), the lower surface 10 of the countersunk head 8 is only in ring engagement with the countersink surface of the hole 4 near the outer end, and due to the difference in the internal angles of each surface, a cavity is formed between such surfaces near the inner end.
The locking flange 21 enters the inlet socket 11, holding onto the wall of the inlet socket 11 and covering the mandrel 7. The inner end of the shoulder abuts against the thrust section 12.
At the intermediate (FIGS. 4 and 5) stage, the mandrel 7 was pulled out and the nose of the tool 22 began to push the locking collar inward. Also at this stage, a countersunk ball-shaped head 23 is formed, the annular protrusion 18 abuts against the annular abutment protrusion 15. The abutment portion 12 resists movement inside the collar, thereby preventing premature locking by means of the locking collar 21.
Since the pulling action on the mandrel continues and a reaction force is generated from the nose 22 of the tool against the locking collar, the latter enters the pocket 20. The most important thing is that when this installation continues, the formation of the head 8 of the hollow sleeve 6 is again noted, thus the surface 10 is in full contact with the hole 4 along their entire length, and at the same time the head 8 is deflected, forming a rear cone in the input socket 11 with respect to the axis of the mounting device by about 3 °.
The effect of this movement is shown in comparison with FIG. 3, where it is seen that the surfaces of the hole 4 and the lower surface 10 are fully engaged along the periphery along the entire length of the countersink hole. The locking flange 21 has restored its shape and enters its nest (Figures 5 and 7). Thus, the locking collar is additionally blocked from being displaced outward.
