The method of manufacturing a poppet valve is as follows.
From the original billet, a valve is formed with such an arrow in the form of a deformation. A protective coating is directed onto the supporting surface of the tray, which subsequently contacts during valve operation with the seat, the material of which, when combined with the valve material, forms an alloy different from the valve material and coating.
After the overlaying of the protective coating, homogenization is carried out in order to undergo structural transformations that equalize the properties in the valve body and, in particular, in its plate. Then, the valve plate is forged and artificially aged at a temperature higher than the operating temperature of the valve.
Example. The disc valve is made with a plate with a diameter of 40 mm and a height of 23 mm, the valve stem has a diameter of 10 mm and a length of 9 mm.
The deformation of the chromium-nickel alloy blank is carried out at. Since the use of a valve is assumed to be at-work TJ SM temperature, the plate is forged and aged at. Homogenization is performed by annealing.
The resulting product is subjected to corrosion resistance tests. The test results showed high properties of the valves obtained by the proposed technology.
The proposed method provides improved performance of the disc valves.
