A check-valve 8 and a restricted orifice 9 are situated in parallel in the conduit 7 between the selector valve 14 and the vacuum actuator 1, the check-valve permitting flow through the conduit from the vacuum actuator but preventing reverse flow, whereby a reduction of vacuum intensity in the engine intake passage when the engine is warm causes the check-valve to close and causes the restricted orifice to delay advance of the ignition timing.

INTERNAL COMBUSTION to the vacuum channel 7 and the atmosphere through the valve 8 with the valve element 9 connected with the engine 10 sensitive to the temperature of the engine. The gas main is filled with two parallel sections, one of which has a check valve 11 and the other a narrowed opening J2. The valve 8 through the opening 13 is connected with the atmosphere and is equipped with an electromagnet 14 with a spring 15. The electromagnet is connected to the battery 16 through the contacts 17 of the means 10. The pressure sensor 4 has a diaphragm 18 and a spring 19. The diaphragm is connected to the chopper 21 via a cable 20. The intake channel 1 is the throttle valve 22. The device operates as follows. When the engine is idling with a closed throttle valve 22 in the intake channel 1, a relatively large vacuum is generated, which is transmitted through channel 2 to the control cavity 5 of the pressure sensor 4. Due to this, the ha 20 moves in the direction of compression of the spring 19 and the ignition advance angle is reduced. Due to the presence in the line 6 of the constricted opening 12, a delay in increasing the ignition advance angle occurs, which reduces the amount of toxic substances in the exhaust gases. When the throttle valve 22 is closed, for example, to slow down the movement of the vehicle, the vacuum in channel 1 increases again. A check valve 11, mounted parallel to the narrowed orifice 12, opens and the increased vacuum acts on the diaphragm 18 of the sensor 4 so that the advance angle of the ignition is reduced.
