The apparatus comprises a main reservoir for water and at least one secondary reservoir for an additive material. Both reservoirs are connected to a mixing chamber which is connected to independent segments of a spray distribution bank via separate pipes. A pump pumps the additive material to the mixing chamber. A driving mechanism responsive to the speed of the vehicle drives the pump as a function of the speed of the vehicle and thereby effects a first regulation of the flow of additive material to the mixing chamber. A valve is interposed between the secondary reservoir and the mixing chamber for effecting a second regulation of the flow of additive material to the mixing chamber as a function of the number of segments of the spray distribution bank in use.

have an output kpapanah 16. The installation for automatic dosing works as follows.
Water from tank 3 is supplied by injection pump 15 to mixing chamber 5, while at the same time from tanks with components, metering pumps 12 to the mixing chamber 5 are supplied components dissolved in water, the dosing of which was carried out depending on the speed of the installation using an additional running wheel 10 on which a speed sensor 11 associated with the metering pumps 12.
For dosing the components contained in the tanks 4, depending on the working length of the ramp 7, the mixing chamber 5, which receives water from the tank 3 and the additional components from the tanks 4, is connected respectively to each of the sections of the ramp 7 by flexible hoses 6. Each of the tanks 4 has a three-way valve 14 that is automatically turned on to direct all or part of the component to the tank with which it is connected when, for example, one of the ramp sections 7 is blocked,
This makes it possible to neutralize the reservoir with the component so that the dosage, i.e. proportion
components in the water remained constant.
The use of auxiliary tanks has the great advantage that water and active products appear only at the time of spraying, which is very desirable because, on the one hand, some combined products can be neutralized after a certain period of time, and, on the other hand, it is desirable to have the opportunity to move from one crop to another with the greatest comforts without completely emptying the main tank 3, as is the case with mechanical sprayers, when plants are changed, and atelno and treatment products. Furthermore, the fact that the additive products are contained in auxiliary tanks having metering pumps allows the amount of product injected by each tank into the mixing chamber to be varied depending on the vehicle speed.
