This invention relates to electrophotography, in particular, to devices for separating copy sheets from photo image semiconductor media.
Various devices are known for moving sheets of paper in copiers, for example, mechanical grippers, vacuum or other conveyor belts, feed rollers, wire guides 1.
However, in all known devices in each transfer area of the sheet from one transport system to another, it is possible for the paper to get stuck, especially if the sheet stiffness is low and the sheet bends.
The separation of a copy sheet is especially difficult at the moment of transferring the produced image onto a sheet of paper, since the image is not yet fixed and can be easily corrupted; in addition, a sheet of paper is tightly held onto the electrophotographic carrier by electrostatic needles.
A device for separating paper with the fingers to grip the leading edge of the sheet 2 is known. However, these devices can cause mechanical damage to the surface of the carrier.
A copy machine is known, which contains an electrophotographic image carrier, made in the form of a cylinder with successively placed nodes for charging, exposing, developing, transferring the image, fixing the image, and a node for separating the list of copy space from the cylindrical surface of the carrier in the form of a curved guide plate 3.
However, the known device only partially solves the problem of separating the leaf of a COI FDI.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the reliability of separation of the copy sheet from the electrophotographic carrier.
This is achieved by the fact that the electrophotographic carrier has a barrel-shaped form.
The invention is illustrated in the drawing.

Claims (3)

The convexity of the barrel-shaped carrier 1, i.e. its maximum curvature, is negligible. This does not negatively affect the operation of the copier, in particular, the quality of the copies. The guide 2 and barrel-shaped carrier 1 increase the longitudinal rigidity of the sheet 3 so that the front edge of the sheet comes into close contact with the image carrier at the time of transferring the image with the corona generator 4 and comes out of contact with the carrier due to its additional curvature. The difference between the maximum and minimum radius of curvature of the barrel-shaped carrier is 1/500. This system ensures reliable separation of sheets of copies using different types of paper.
