The fixed housing section includes development rolls 51-54 and transport rolls 57- 58. The sump section 56 is movable laterally i.e. parallel to the axes of the rolls. It is latched by a lever 96 attached to the shaft of a magnetic flow gate 101 when a thumb screw 97 engages a notch 98. In the latched position developer is free to flow. The lever is biased by a spring to the unlatched position, shown in full lines, when the gate prevents developer flow.

(54) DEVICE FOR DISPLAY IN ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC DEVICE
I
The invention relates to devices for display in an electrographic apparatus.
A device for manifestation in an electrographic apparatus is known, comprising a bunker with an extender, a means of transporting the developer and its mixing enclosed in a common housing 1.
The known device is inconvenient to maintain.
In order to improve the servicing of the device, its body is made of two detachable sections, one of which is fixed, the transfer means is located in the fixed section, and the bunker with the developer and its mixing means in the movable section, which has a lock for connection to the fixed section and a magnetic gate located at the outlet of the bunker and kinematically connected with the lock.
The lock and the magnetic shutter are mounted on a common shaft, one end of which is mounted on the pin, on the movable section, and contains a torsion spring, and on the other end there is a lever with a magnetic shutter.

The device comprises a housing 1 made of two detachable sections 2 and 3. Section 2 is fixed on the housing 1 stationary, 5 and section 3 is movable.
In the movable section 3, the bunker 4 with the developer and the tool 5 for mixing the developer are placed. In the fixed section 2, the mounted transfer means of the developer from the hopper 4 through the outlet 6. 10 The transfer vehicle of the developer contains rollers 7 and 8. The developer is a mixture of finely divided particles of resinous toner and larger particles of a ferromagnetic carrier.
With rollers 7 and 8, the developer is transmitted upwards between the photoconductor 9 and the successive transfer rollers 10-13. Between the rollers 7, 8, 10-13, the developer is held by means of permanent magnets 14-19, which are located inside individual non-magnetic cylindrical sleeves 20-25.

The latter are rotated in the direction of the arrows, and the developer held onto them by means of the stationary fields created by the magnets 14-19 moves from roller to roller. Magnetic shutter 37 has a permanent magnet 38, which attracts the ferromagnetic carrier from the developer and runs across the entire width of the bunker 4. Magnetic strength 38, length shutter 37 and its angular orientation relative to lock 32 are selected so that the developer can freely flow from bunker 4 when the iiiHT-wings 35 are in hole 36. When the lock is unlocked, the bias caused by spring 34 causes the magnet 38 to abut against bunke 4, approximately at the level of the outlet opening 6.
