1483997 Laminates TAURUS GUMIIPARI VALLALAT 5 April 1976 [3 April 1975] 13720/76 Heading B5N [Also in Division F2] A laminate resistant to phosphate based fluids such as are used in hydraulic systems comprises a first layer of either polychloroprene or natural rubber, a second transition layer comprising a mixture of 50-80% ethylene propylene terpolymer and 50 to 20% polychloroprene or natural rubber and a third, phosphate-resistant layer of ethylene-propylene terpolymer. The polychloroprene or natural layer readily adheres to metal surfaces such as the core of hoses. The phosphate resistant layer may be produced from EPDM based rubber by extruding or calendering. The transition layer may be formed by impregnating textiles, e.g. rayon, cotton, polyamides or polyesters with a 10- 20% organic solution of EPDM-polychloroprene mixture or by calendering the EPDM- polychloroprene layer in to the textile layer. The layers of polychloroprene are produced by calendering. The three layers of the laminate are joined by conventional means and may be used to form metal reinforced hoses.

Invention Formula
The method of obtaining a multilayer material by laying a length of a lengthy metal product of a rubber compound layer based on ethylene-propylene copolymer and chloroprene rubber in a ratio of respectively 50-80: 20-50 and then a layer and rubber mixture based on ethylene-propylene copolymer followed by vulcanization, and that, in order to improve the physicomechanical properties of the material, a layer of the above rubber mixture is applied based on a mixture of copolymer and chloropropic rubber containing a textile gasket on lengthy product 733510b of metal, covered with a layer of rubber compound based on rubber or natural rubber, Sources of information taken into account during the examination, 1.
