This invention relates to electrography, in particular to optical systems of electrophotographic copiers with rasterization of half-tone originals. The problem of obtaining grayscale and images is solved in the majority of yours by means of image rasterization, which consists in obtaining the effect of gradation of tones by changing the diameters of points or the width of lines, formed by a raster screen and making up a high-intensity light or low-intensity areas. By the optical density of the original sections, points or lines have a minimum size, increasing in the intermediate zones, and completely merge in the dark zones. An electrophotographic apparatus is known, comprising an electrophotographic cylinder, charging, exposing, developing, transferring and fixing the obtained image 2. The image scan in the renowned apparatus is carried out with the help of a lamp and a lens moving along the original synchronously with the rotation of the electrophotographic cylinder. The parts of the original are projected onto the surface of the cylinder through shch.p, having a contour configuration in the form of a butterfly, made of an opaque material. Such a scan of a halftone image causes blurring of the image, especially at the edges of the cylinder. The use of a flat raster, the lines of which are perpendicular to the cylinder generators, also eliminates the blurring of the halftone images, maximum at the edges of the cylinder. The aim of the invention is to improve the quality of the halftone image by eliminating edge blurring. The goal is achieved by the fact that the proposed apparatus is equipped with a curved raster screen with a curvature of a point equal to the curvature of the electrophotographic cylinder and installed at a distance from it, while their centers of curvature coincide.
