(54) ROTARY OFFSET PRINTING MACHINE the stroke between the offset cylinder 4 and the printing cylinder 8. In order to change the format and to immobilize the platen cylinder 2 to the blanket cylinder 4, on the base 1 of the machine, on each side of the cylinders there are two threaded rods 13 (in Fig. 1 only one rod is shown) screwed with their ends into the holes 14 made in the holder x 7. Threaded rods 13 are installed with rotation in supports 15 and are associated with means for simultaneously bringing them into rotation, made in the form of two worm gears, each of which consists of a screw 16 and a worm gear 17, a screw worm mounted on a common shaft 18. Once the offset 4 and plate 2 cylinders come into contact, the connection between the flywheel 22 and the sleeve 26 is reestablished, releasing the flywheel, causing the flywheel under the action of the spring 29 to be pressed against the sleeve 26 and the cams 32 of the hub 25 enter the sockets 33 of the sleeve 26.
