The invention relates to the drilling of deep wells.
The aim of the invention is to improve the reliability of the drill pipe in deep drilling.
Figure 1 shows a part of the cross-section of a drill pipe with a welded connecting part - a nipple; Fig. 2 is a similar image to Fig. 1 of the other end of the drill pipe with a connecting part - a sleeve; on.fig.Z - a variant of the coupling with a 90-degree shoulder.
Shown in figure 1 part of the drill pipe 1 has a connecting end-nipple 2. The nipple and the pipe are connected by a weld 3, for example, by friction welding. The pipe 1 has an upset 4 at its end, and figure 1 shows an example when the upset is directed radially inward and outward. The axial extent of the outer upset is shorter than the axial extent of the inner upset
6. Section 7 of the undeformed body of the pipe 1 has a nominal bore with a diameter indicated by the position 8. Diameter 9 us-

1836536 4 fishing pass in section 10 of landing 4 is less than the diameter 8. Between the cylindrical sections 7 and 10 there is an intermediate section 11, which is a transition between the cylindrical sections 5. In this intermediate section, the nominal bore in the direction of the weld 3 is continuously reduced, and half of the difference between the largest and smallest nominal bore is shown in Fig. 1 by 10 position 12. The length 13 of the intermediate section 11 is more than 10 times the difference between diameters 8 and 9, the adjacent sections 7 and 1Θ. The transition from the section 7 of the undeformed pipe body to the intermediate section 11 is strongly rounded, and the radius of curvature 14 is at least 300 mm. The nipple 2 has a cylindrical section 17 starting at the weld seam 3 and extending to the beginning of 15 thickening 16 for a machine key 20, the diameter 9 of the nominal bore of which is equal to the nominal bore diameter of the upset 4. It adjoins in the direction of the tapered thread 18, the intermediate section 19 decreases - 25 rocking conditional bore. The length 20 of the intermediate section 19 is more than three times the difference between the diameters 9 and 21, the adjacent cylindrical section 17 and the section 22- 30 of the conditional passage of the nipple 2 under the thread 18. Half of this difference is shown in Fig. 1 at 23. This the intermediate section 19 in the area of the thickening 16 for the machine key. 35
In figure 1, the implementation of the intermediate section 19 is shown in the form of a surface curved along an arc of a circle, which tangentially passes into the cylindrical section 17 facing the weld 3. 4 θ The radius 24 of this surface is at least 150 mm. The area of the beginning 15 of the thickening 16 under the machine key has a standard slope at an angle of 30 degrees.
Fig. 2 shows a section similar to Fig. 1 45 of the other end of the drill pipe, where a coupling 25 is welded as a connecting end.
Coupling 25 is connected to pipe 1 by means of a weld seam 26, made, for example, by friction welding.
The pipe 1 has an upset 27 at its end, similar to the upset 4 at the other end of the pipe. The sleeve 25 has a cylindrical section 28 extending from the weld 26 to 55 of the tapered thread 29. The diameter 9 of the nominal bore of the sleeve is equal to the diameter of the nominal bore of the upset 27. On the outer surface of the sleeve, a thickening 30 is made for the machine key 30. The initial section 31 of which has a standard slope with angle of 18 degrees.
In Fig. 3 shows an embodiment of the end of the drill pipe with a welded sleeve 25. However, the initial section 32 of the thickening 30 for the power tool is made at an angle of 90 ° to the pipe axis. The sleeve 25 is connected to the pipe 1 by a weld seam 33. The sleeve 25 is welded, as in Fig. 2, along the upset 27, made similar to the upset 4 at the other end of the pipe. The sleeve 25 in the area of the weld has a cylindrical section 34, the nominal diameter 9 of which is equal to the nominal diameter of the upset 27. The cylindrical section 34 is adjoined in the direction of the tapered thread 35 by an intermediate section 36 with a decreasing nominal bore. Moreover, the end of this section is located before the beginning of the 90-degree section 32 of the thickening under the machine key, and thus a dangerous reduction in the cross-section is excluded. The length 37 of the intermediate section is more than 3 times the difference between the diameter 9 and the diameter 38 of the nominal bore 39 of the coupling. Half of this difference in Fig. 3 is shown at 40. In this embodiment, the intermediate section 36 is made in the form of a surface curved along an arc of a circle, which tangentially passes into the cylindrical section 34. The radius 41 of this curved surface is at least 150 mm.
The design of the end of the drill pipe described in Fig. 1, during operation, makes it possible to increase the reliability of operation due to the fact that most of the protrusion, which increases the strength of the connection, is displaced to its non-practical part, it is sufficiently remote from the threaded section, but however, it is located in the area of thickening for the machine key where there is sufficient cross-section. Reliability during operation is also increased due to the fact that the transition sections are made in the form of surfaces curved along an arc of a circle, which tangentially passes into the cylindrical part. Due to this design, stress concentration is eliminated. When the clutch shown in Fig. 2 operates, no thickening is required in the area intended for the power key, since the cross-section in the critical area is sufficient and therefore the nominal diameter is preserved up to the threaded section. When the clutch is operating, having a 90-degree section for the machine key (Fig. 3), the proposed implementation of the intermediate section, as in the case of the nipple (Fig. 1), reduces the stress concentration and
1836536 6 increases the reliability of the drill pipe. In addition, smooth transitions in the intermediate sections avoid the accumulation of residual flushing solution, which reduces the likelihood of corrosive damage and increases the reliability of operation.
