    Curved racing bicycle handlebar, having at the hand resting zone an almost rectilinear portion (16). In particular the proposed handlebar has, besides a horizontal portion (11) apt to be engaged in the lug, a shaped cavity (17) bent towards the rider, which has at a first portion in front of the hand grip, that is near the thumb, a very small bending radius (r), then a second portion which is rectilinear and joins with the first portion, then a third portion, near the back part of the hand also linked to the second one and having a much wider bending (R), that is nearly double than the previous one, the rectilinear portion extending for a distance almost equal to the width of the rider's hand.

    This invention relates to a steering wheel for a racing bicycle.
    The purpose of the invention is to facilitate control by preventing uneven distribution of force on the steering wheel.
    FIG. 1 shows the proposed bicycle handlebar, top view; in fig. 2 - the same, side view.
    The proposed wheel 1 consists of a central, horizontal section 2, installed in the clip of the steering column of a bicycle, and two side parts 3 and 4, bent forward and then down.
    The front bend is quite traditional, the subject matter of this invention is connected with the bend of the rudder in a vertical plane from top to bottom to form a shaped recess 5 facing the cyclist and adapted to receive his hands.
    The recess 5 is formed by three sections1 connected with each other, this is the first curved section 6 of a very small radius r, the second straight line section 7 with a slope of 35-55 ° relative to the vertical, adjacent to the first curved section 8, and
    the third section 9 of a considerably larger radius R, which is approximately twice the radius r, is adjacent to the second section. Usually, the steering wheel ends with an almost horizontal end portion 10.
    The hands of a cyclist can be placed comfortably in an area where the axis of the tube is almost linear.

    Claims 1. A racing bicycle handlebar comprising a handlebar rod, a tube with a horizontal section for mounting the steering column and two side parts with curved down ends, each of the side parts has two curvilinear sections and a straight line section between them, characterized in that in order to facilitate control by preventing the uneven distribution of force to zero, the first curvilinear section is made with a bending radius equal to half the bending radius of the second curvilinear section, and rectilinear portion is formed with a length equal to the diameter of the pipe.

    2. A wheel according to claim 1, characterized in that the straight-line portion is located relative to the stem of the bar at an angle of 35-55 °.
