专利摘要:
A device is shown for preheating liquid fuel, e.g. diesel fuel, for a heating apparatus (A) of small heating capacity and independent from an engine, suitable for being installed in vehicles running on liquid fuel. Fuel is fed from a tank (B) to the heating apparatus (A) via a line (C), preheating being effected by heat exchange from the heater exhaust gas to the fuel which is carried in a single-layer coil or in a hollow cylinder (1) around the exhaust pipe (4) of the heating aparatus. The feedback of the preheated non-combusted fuel via a fuel return pipe (E) to the tank (B) also preheats the contents of the tank. Between the coil or the hollow cylinder and the exhaust gas pipe a heat-conductive collar may be arranged. …<IMAGE>…

专利说明:

The invention relates to a transport engineering, primarily to the heaters of fuel of mobile vehicles, in particular automobiles.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the reliability of the device in operation by more efficient heating of the fuel.
FIG. 1 is a schematic block diagram of a preheater; in fig. 2 - channel for the flow of fuel, the first option; in fig. 3 is a view A of FIG. 2; in fig. 4 - channel for the flow of fuel, the second option; in fig. 5 - sleeve liner for fuel flow, option; in fig. 6 - installation of the reflective shield on the exhaust pipe.
The liquid fuel preheater for the heater of the mobile machine comprises a supply outlet pipe 1, one end connected to a fuel pump connected to the combustion chamber of the heater 2 and mounted directly on the heater 2 and the other end to the fuel tank 3, and the exhaust pipe 4 for exhaust gas from the combustion chamber of the heater 2 to the atmosphere. The exhaust pipe 4 at the location between the heater 2 and its end is provided with a surface for heat exchange between it and the channel 5 for the flow of fuel. Channel 5 is made to cover the exhaust pipe 4 along its perimeter and is connected by its both ends 6 and 7 to the fuel supply pipe 1. To drain excess heated fuel into the tank 3, the device is equipped with a return fuel line 8 from the fuel pump of the heater 2 to the fuel tank 3.
In the first embodiment of the channel 5 for the flow of fuel (Fig. 2 and 3), a sleeve 9 is installed on the heat exchange surface of the exhaust pipe 4, on which the channel 5 is fixed, made in the form of a single-layer winding of the fuel supply line 1 to the heat exchange surface with the arrangement of turns 10 Coiling close to each other. The sleeve 9 can also be made in the form of a single-layer winding 11 of heat-conducting material of circular cross section (Fig.5).
The sleeve 9 and the coils 10 of the winding of the inlet fuel line 1 are fixed to the exhaust pipe 4 by means of fastener 12, 13 (FIG. 2), which includes an internal U-shaped bracket 12, which is installed with the span of the winding of the inlet fuel line 1 and is rigidly attached with its own ends to its extreme coils 10, and the outer U-shaped bracket 13, covering the inner bracket 12 and
resting at its ends into the exhaust pipe 4. In the upper part, the brackets 12 and 13 are interconnected by a bolt joint 14.15 to ensure movement
the outer bracket 13 by means of the nut 14 and obtaining the terminal connection of the channel 5 to the vapor pipe 4. Between the nut 14 and the outer bracket 13 is a flat washer 16.
In the second embodiment of the channel 5 for the flow of fuel (Fig. 4), channel 5 is made in the gap 17 between the walls of two coaxially arranged tubular elements 18 and 19, the inner tubular element 18 being mounted on the exhaust pipe 4. Attaching the channel 5 to the exhaust pipe 4 is carried out bolted connection 14, 15.
In the case of the sleeve 9 in the form
the single-layer winding 11 (Fig. 6) is last connected to the coils 10 of winding the fuel supply line 1 by means of brazing 20. The heat-conducting winding 11 is arranged with its location under the mutual lines of contact of the coils 10. Since the round material of the winding 11 consists of heavy material and has a smaller diameter than the coils 10, then the winding 11 passes with a certain distance between the individual coils.
At the end section of the exhaust pipe 4, together with a heating device, a reflective shield 21 can be installed to deflect the hot exhaust gases exiting the pipe 4. In this case, to
it is advisable for the device to attach
flange 22 for attachment to body parts,
car, for example to the bottom of the latter.
The device works as follows.
The liquid fuel from the fuel tank 3 is directed through the fuel supply line 1 to the combustion chamber of the heater 2 through channel 5. In channel 5, located in
the heat exchange contact through the liner 9 with the exhaust pipe 4, the fuel is heated by the heat of the exhaust gases and sent thus preheated to the fuel pump associated with the chamber
combustion heater 2 and installed directly on the heater 2.
The fuel pump heater 2 continuously supplies more fuel than is required.
for incineration. The excess fuel is diverted from the fuel pump of preheater 2 to tank 3 via the return fuel line 8. Since this excess fuel was previously heated in channel 5, then tank 3 is constantly
returns preheated
fuel, due to which all fuel in tank 3 is gradually heated.
