The invention relates to a small, efficient hermetic compressor for refrigeration wherein reduction in size and minimization of parts is emphasized. The motor compressor unit is mounted within a sealed outer housing and comprises a cast crankcase, which is connected to the stator of the electrical motor by means of only three connecting screws that extend through the stator and are threadedly received in sockets in the downwardly depending legs of the crankcase. The crankshaft is pressed into the motor rotor and is journaled within the crankcase for rotation about a vertical axis. Claims (2) [1] 1. A hermetic compressor, comprising a housing, a crankcase mounted therein with a cylinder, in which a piston articulated with a crankshaft is placed, a stator with an electric excitation winding located in the housing, mounted on a crankshaft inside 0 mounted on the stator from its upper end surface with the help of three elongated connecting elements passing through the stator and fixed to the crankcase on one side and fitted with heads protruding beyond the lower end surface of the stator, mounting stops adjacent to the lower end surface on the other the stator and having on one side notches, in which the heads of the connecting elements are fixed, and on the other side, protrusions, and the latter are concentrically fitted with spiral springs attached to the housing, In order to simplify the construction and installation, each notch in the mounting stopper is located eccentrically with respect to the vertical axis of the protrusion, with the axis of the protrusion being offset relative to the axis of the notch radially to the lateral surface of the stator.
