A television horizontal deflection system and a switched-mode power supply are provided which share a single sawtooth waveform generator for the generation of delayed deflection signals and delayed power supply gating signals, respectively. The sawtooth waveform generator has an input coupled to receive pulses which are maintained in phase and frequency synchronism with the sync pulses of the video signal. The sawtooth waveform is applied to a comparator in the horizontal deflection system where it is compared with a D.C. voltage resulting from the phase comparison of the sync and flyback pulses to determine the time of delayed generation of the succeeding horizontal deflection signals. The sawtooth waveform is also applied to a comparator in the power supply to determine the time of delayed generation of the succeeding gating signals for the SCR or like device. By selecting a time constant for the phase adjustment between sync and flyback in the deflection system which is smaller (i.e., faster) than the time constant of the regulated supply, the phase differences between sync and flyback are so quickly compensated for by the deflection system that their effects on the regulated supply are minimized.

The invention relates to television, and more specifically to the deployment devices of the Color Television Receiver.
The aim of the invention is a simpler device.
The drawing shows the structure of an electrical circuit forming a horizontal scanning signal of a color television receiver.
The horizontal sweep signal generator contains an amplitude selector 1, a pulse shaper 2, a horizontal sweep generator 3, an output horizontal sweep unit 4, a tube unit 5, a first phase detector 6, a first filter 7, a counter 8, a second phase detector 9, a second filter 10, the first comparator 11, the pulse generator 12, the source 13 of the reference voltage, the second comparator 14, the third filter 15, the third comparator 16, the regulator 17, which includes a valve switch 18, voltage dividers 19 and 20.
The horizontal wave imager of a color television receiver works as follows,
In the amplitude selector 1, the pulses are synchronized from the television signal. The selected horizontal sync pulses are fed to the first phase detector 6, the signal from which through a serially connected first filter 7 enters the counter 8, the first phase detector 6 the first filter 7 and the counter 8 are connected into a closed phase circuit to generate output signals that are free from noise and locked in phase and frequency relative to incoming horizontal sync signals. The output signals from counter 8 are fed to a second phase detector 9 and to a driver 2 pulses, from the output of which a signal is fed to a sweep generator 3.
