Packing containers (1) in cushion-form, that is to say packing containers which comprise a liquid-tight tube which is sealed together at both ends in transverse sealing fins (3), cannot be used for pressurized contents, since the flexible plastic material of which the containers are made cannot be joined with sufficient strength in the sealing fins. In accordance with the invention the packing containers, and in particular their sealing fins (3), are strengthened by means of an external strengthening band which joins the sealing fins situated at both ends of the container. At the same time the fins are held folded down against the outside of the container so that the internal pressure in the container no longer acts upon the material layers sealed together in the sealing fin in a direction away from each other, but is transmitted instead to the seal between the respective fin and the strengthening band which seal can readily be given the required strength. The invention also relates to a method for the manufacture of the packing containers described above.

The invention relates to containers for a pressurized product and can be used in the packaging of beer or carbonated beverages.
The purpose of the invention is to increase strength.
Strength is increased by transferring internal pressure to the reinforcing and supporting elements.
FIG. 1 shows a packaging container for a pressurized product, rear view; Figure 2 shows a side view; in fig. 3 - the same upper part in the section is enlarged; in fig. 4 - container, bendable support element.
The container 1 is made in the form of a piece of flexible pipe of a liquid-impermeable material, the ends of which are flattened and hermetically sealed to form two parallel sealing ribs 2 that are bent on the outer surface of the container one towards the other. In the upper part of the container 1, the drain holes 3 are made closed by a tear-off strip 4, one end attached to the container 1. The external reinforcing element 5 connects the sealing ribs 2 and holds them in the stooped position.
It is preferable to provide a container in which the end portions of the reinforcing element 5 are bonded with the curved portions of the sealing ribs 2 with overlapping.
The container may be provided with a bent support element 6, attached at one end to the reinforcing element 5 and forming with it the supporting surface of the container.
The ribs 2 are located on one of the sides of the container 1 at a distance from one another.
This distance is equal to the length of the working part of the reinforcing element 5 so that the latter compensates for the axial tensile stress caused by the internal pressure in the container 1. The reinforcing element 5 is made of a material with the same or lower coefficient of linear expansion as the material for manufacturing container 1.
Both materials for strengthening should contain layers of thermoplastic material.

Thus, the container can be made of a material containing a layer made of acrylonitrile or polyethylene and the second layer is made of aluminum foil.

In the case of a reinforcing element 5 of two parts A and B, they are pulled one to the other and, with the help of a transverse element 7, are overlapped with tension that compensates most of the axial tensile stresses created by internal pressure in container 1. At the same time, the tension of the reinforcing element 5 should not cause deformation of the container and the formation of folds on it.
The internal pressure keeps the reinforcing element 5 in the tensioned position, prevents bending of the sealing ribs 2, presses
to the reinforcing element 5, the sealing ribs 2 and parts of the walls of the container 1, which are in contact with the ribs 2. Therefore, a massive increase in pressure inside the container increases
the retention force of the ribs 2. The latter are unloaded from the action of the internal stress, transferring it through the joint overlap to the reinforcing element 5. The latter almost completely unloads the wall of the container 1 from the voltage.
The container 1 is provided with a foldable support element 6, which is attached at one end to the reinforcement element 5 to form a support surface,
In the upper part of the container 1, drain holes 3 are pierced. The latter are closed with a tear strip 4, one end attached to the container 1.
Thus, the invention provides an increase in the strength of the container due to the unloading from the action of the internal pressure of the sealing ribs 2 by transferring it to the reinforcing element. This is facilitated by the overlapping of the sealing ribs and the reinforcing element, and the provision of the latter with a supporting element to form a supporting surface.
