The invention relates to machines for processing, in particular, the cooling of metal sheet or other similar products, including the lower and upper frames, in which sets of feed rolls and sheet guides are installed, working in pairs, both of which limit the internal space in which the processing fluid circulates.
The purpose of the invention is to improve the service conditions of the device by facilitating the replacement of the sealing gasket, as well as reducing its wear.
FIG. presents the inlet end of the metal sheet cooling machine, section; in fig. 2-4 are embodiments of a sealing device, partial view.
Metal cooling machine


Whose sheet, the input end of which is shown in FIG. 1, consists of the top 1 and bottom 2 frames. Each frame includes side walls 3 and 4, interconnected by metal shells 5 and 6, which have flat sections 7 and 8 parallel to the sheet that must pass through the machine, and two curved sections 9 and 10 surrounding the guides And and 12 drive rollers. The metal covers 5 and 6 limit the space in which cooling fluid can circulate. For this purpose, said space is associated with supply and discharge pipelines for this liquid, with pipelines 13 and 14 being pipelines for discharging liquid.
The output end of this machine has basically the same design.
On the housing 9, approximately in the diametral horizontal plane of the final roller 11, there is a slot 15 extending along the entire length of the machine. This slot includes an additional element consisting of a metal or plastic plate 16 mounted with the possibility of removal and with the presence of a sealing gasket on the casing (Fig. 2). This attachment can be accessed from the outside of the machine.
On the inner surface of the casing 9, which has a T-shaped section in this example, is reinforced along its entire length.

a sealing gasket, which is an inflatable hollow body or tire 17, made of elastomer and equipped with an overlay 18 of a material with a low coefficient of friction (for example Teflon or other suitable material). The hollow body or tire 17 has a base 19, with which the plate is secured in the slot 20. In non-working condition, tire 17 has a sealed form (FIG. 2, solid line). By channel 21, it is connected to a source of liquid or air under pressure. This makes it possible to give it a rounded shape (Fig. 2, dash-dotted line).
Between the plate 16 and the wall 9 of the machine provides tight gaskets 22.
The plate 16 may consist of several segments.
In another embodiment of the device, the slot 23 (FIG. 3), filled in the wall 9, has a lower height than the slot 15 (FIG. 2), and the sealing device includes a casing or cover 24 sealed and removable. on the casing 9. A cover 24 is reinforced with an inflatable hollow body or tire 25, whose structure is similar to that of a hollow body or PM 17 (Fig. 2). It reinforces the plate 26 of relatively small thickness, which passes through the slot 23 and protrudes relative to the internal surface of the machine casing. At the end of the tinkle 26, a patch 27 of a material with a low friction coefficient (Teflon or some other similar material) can be strengthened.
5 The principle of operation of these devices is very simple: in the absence of a supply of liquid under pressure, tires 17 and 25 have a flattened form and the sealing gasket does not touch the roller.
0 In contrast, the flow of fluid causes the tire to deform and the gasket is in tight contact with the roller. To replace the gasket, it is enough to remove the plate 16 or the cover.

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 4, a part 29 is inserted into the slot of the casing of the upper frame 28;
it is made of stainless steel, with a closing plate 30. Part 29 is fastened with the possibility of being removed on the machine and runs along the entire length of the machine parallel to the axis of the roller.
The bronze bracket 31 is mounted so that it can move in the part 29. A gasket 32 is fixed in it to ensure tight contact with the roller. The bracket 31 is T-shaped and moves towards the roller with the help of an inflatable tire 33, overcoming the resistance of two elastic rings 34.
The principle of operation of the device is similar to that described.

sealing strips can be carried out without dismantling the rollers.
The device is able to change its volume and can be removed from the rollers when the coolant does not pass through the machine, which makes it possible to avoid gasket wear. The force of the abutment into the roller can be adjusted, and the wear of the gasket can be compensated for by feeding more or less liquid under pressure into the device.
In the embodiment shown in (t ' r., 3), the slit to be made in the machine casing is small. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 4, the control of the movement of the plate is improved, and the replacement of the sealing gasket is made even easier.
In addition, the hollow body may have a rounded shape when not in use and shrink after being connected to a vacuum source.

1. A THERMAL SEALING DEVICE FOR THROUGH SHEET PROCESSING SYSTEM, comprising a housing consisting of an upper and lower frame, feed and guide rollers mounted in pairs on the frames, sealing gaskets made of a material with a low coefficient of friction and mounted on the wall of the housing at the input and output ends machines with the ability to interact with extreme rollers, and an element for pressing the sealing gasket to the roller, which consists in that, in order to improve the service conditions of the device by facilitating replacing the sealing gaskets in the housing wall at the inlet and outlet ends of a slot machine on the whole width of the housing, the housing has a removable cover configured and disposed in the slot, wherein the clamping member and the sealing gasket mounted on the plug housing.

2. The device according to p. 1, characterized in that, in order to reduce wear of the sealing gasket, the clamp element is made in the form of a deformable hollow body connected to a source of fluid under pressure.

3. The device according to paragraphs. 1 and 2, characterized in that the deformable hollow body is placed on the inside of the plug, and the sealing gasket is mounted on the deformable hollow body.

4. The device according to paragraphs. 1 and 2, characterized in that the deformable hollow body is placed on the outside of the plug and closed by a casing, and the sealing gasket is mounted on the plug.

5. The device according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the deformable hollow body is placed in the inner cavity of the plug having elastic compensators and is connected to the sealing gasket through an intermediate clamping element that can interact with elastic compensators.
