A vibration damped portable impact tool comprising a pneumatically powered reciprocating mechanism to which a chisel is connected. In the disclosed tool the chisel is rigidly connected to the piston of the reciprocating mechanism so as to move conjointly therewith. The drive mechanism is arranged in a previously known manner to absorb its own acceleration forces whereby the only vibration forces acting on the tool derive from the chisel in its contact with the work piece. The invention relates to portable shock mechanisms with vibration damping, namely to reciprocating impact tools, The purpose of the invention is to reduce the level of vibration. The closest to the proposed technical solution is a portable percussion mechanism, comprising a housing, a reciprocating drive located in it, operating at a given frequency, a rod biased in the axis, a working tool, made in the form of a chisel, one end of which is connected to the stem , and on the other there is a working edge. This goal is achieved by the fact that in a portable percussion mechanism with vibration damping, comprising a housing, a reciprocating drive located in it, operating at a predetermined frequency, a spring loaded axially, a chisel, one end of which is connected on the other side, the working edge is made on the other, the chisel has a rectangular cross section in the direction perpendicular to the movement of the ftja mechanism, and the working edge is placed on the larger side of the rectangular section 1 × 1. FIG. 1 depicts a portable shock mechanism, general view; in fig. 2 and 3 are the same, a longitudinal section in mutually perpendicular to the RNA planes; in fig. 4 - the trajectory of movement of the working edge of the chisel. The portable shock mechanism with vibration damping includes a housing 1, a drive 2 of reciprocating action located therein, operating at a given frequency, a rod 3 spring-loaded along the axis, a working tool 4 made in the form of a chisel, one end of which is connected to the rod 3, and another one has a working edge 5. The working tool 4 has a rectangular cross-section in the direction perpendicular to the movement of the mechanism, and the working edge 5 is placed on the greater side of the chisel. Portable shock mechanism with vibration damping works as follows. When compressed air is supplied to the drive 2 of the mechanism, the latter creates a vibratory movement (in FIG. 1, the direction of movement is shown by arrows), which tends to rotate the impact mechanism relative to the center of rotation Y. The working tool 4 in the direction perpendicular to the working edge 5 has spring properties stiffness that does not significantly affect the body 1 of the mechanism. The vibration of the mechanism is damped by the interaction of the working tool 4, which is a flat spring, with the mass of the drive 2 and the housing 1. In this case, the rigidity of the working tool 4 must be chosen relative to the mass of the mechanism in such a way that the resonance frequency of the mechanism would be less than the frequency of impacts of the reciprocating movement of the actuator 2 and is equal to the frequency of movement of the working edge 5 of the working tool 4. The proposed mechanism reduces the level of vibration due to the fact that the working tool is made with a rectangular cross section in the direction perpendicular to the movement of the mechanism and placing the working fepoMKH on the larger side of the rectangular section.
