A process for carrying out the partial oxidation of ethylene with oxygen to ethylene oxide in the vapour phase is described. In the process, the mixture containing ethylene and oxygen or oxygen-containing gas is fed to a heating zone packed with inert materials and subjected therein to heat exchange, the heated mixture then passes into a reaction zone packed with catalyst, where the oxidation of the organic compound takes place, next to the heating zone, and finally the reaction products obtained are cooled in a third zone which is or is not contiguous with the preceding zone, with or without inert packing, the heat removed in the cooling zone being used in the heating zone. The invention relates to the design of reactors for carrying out reactions for the partial oxidation of organic compounds in the vapor phase and can be used in the chemical industry for the partial oxidation with ethylene oxide to ethylene oxide in the vapor phase. The aim of the invention is to increase the efficiency of the process. FIG. Figure 1 shows a flowchart of an installation with a reaction device according to. the first option; in fig. 2 and 3 are the reaction tube; the general view in FIG. A - technological scheme of the installation with the reaction device according to the second variant; in fig. 5 is a flow chart of the installation with a reaction device according to the third embodiment. The device consists of a tubular reactor 1, the tubes of which are connected at their ends by two tube sheets 2 and 3, to which the bottoms 4 and 5 are attached by flanges or by welding. The tubes are filled for a sufficient length with solid inert material on both sides, and the inside is filled with catalyst while the catalyst and the specified inert material have the appropriate shape and preferably made in the form of small cylinders, small balls or rings. The tube bundle is closed by a housing and divided by annular space by two partitions 6 and 7 into three separate parts 8, 9 and 10, where, respectively, heating of the reactants, reaction and cooling of the reaction product occur. In the tubular zone 10 filling may be missing. The device is equipped with a pipe 11 through which the fluid circulates. between the heating zone 8 and the cooling zone 10. A circulating ci is provided by a pump 12. The device contains a cooling pipe 13 zone 9 of the reactor. The fluid circulating through the specified pipeline removes heat from the reaction zone 9 and uses it in the evaporator 1.4 to produce steam 15. Circulation in the pipeline 13 is provided with a pump 16. In the pipe 13, there may be a vaporizing liquid, in which case the pump 16 and the evaporator 14 are excluded from the circuit. FIG. Figure 2 shows a reactor tube in which zone 8 is filled with inert materials, in which gases are heated, and zone 9 is a reaction zone filled with catalyst. In the device of FIG. 5 there is more than one heating zone and more than one cooling zone. FIG. 2 and 3 show one reactor tube; the reagents are heated in zone 8, the reaction takes place in zone 9, and in zone 10 the reaction products are cooled. Zones 10 and 8 are mostly filled with inert material, and zone 9 is filled with a catalyst. From FIG. 4, it can be seen that stilted 17 and oxygen 18 through conduit 19 are introduced into the tube bundle of reactor 1, but before the reaction they are heated in zone 8 and cooled in zone 10 with the help of a fluid, luip between 4 and 8 pump 16. The gases leaving the reactor are led through conduit 20 to column 21, where ethylene oxide is absorbed by liquid 22. Claims (1) [1] A DEVICE FOR CARRYING OUT PARTIAL OXIDATION REACTIONS OF ORGANIC COMPOUNDS IN A STEAM PHASE, containing a housing with two tube sheets, fixed in them by reaction tubes with catalyst <x> Ig.1 nozzle and nozzles for supplying and discharging reagents, reaction products, and heat transfer fluids, that, in order to increase the efficiency of the process, it is equipped with two transverse partitions located between the tube plates in the annulus and dividing it into three chambers - heating, reaction and cooling, and the size cured in the reaction tubes in the heating and cooling zones with an inert nozzle, while the catalyst nozzle is located in the zone of the reaction chamber, and the coolant supply pipes to cat. q the measure of heating and removal of the coolant from the cooling chamber and the pipes for supplying the coolant to the cooling chamber and the removal of the coolant from the heating chamber are respectively connected to each other.
