The invention relates to pipe fittings, in particular to spherical valves, having a welded body and designed to cut off the flow of liquids or gases on pipelines of large diameter.
The purpose of the invention is to simplify the installation and dismantling of the crane and simplify its design due to the possibility of automating the processes of welding the two halves of the crane body and cutting the crane body on the lathe into two halves with subsequent re-use of the ordered welded halves of the crane body.

The spherical valve contains a housing consisting of two hemispherical parts 1 and 2, welded to each other along the peripheral edges 3 and 4 with a single seam 5 and made respectively

1. SPHERICAL CRANE comprising a housing consisting of two hemispherical parts welded together by a single seam and made respectively with inlet and outlet cylindrical nozzles, and a spherical plug installed in the housing with a rotary axis of rotation perpendicular to the axis of the cylindrical nozzles, with a cylindrical through channel for the passage of the working medium and two trunnions and floating ring seats with gaskets, characterized in that, in order to simplify the installation and dismantling of the crane and simplify its construction tion, the welded body seam is located in a plane perpendicular to the axis of cylindrical nozzles, stoppers spherical trunnion mounted to the two disk slip, and within each of the housing parts at an equal distance from the axis of the cylindrical pipes are welded two pairs of half-rings, said covering discs.
