Е С (X - .1111 Htr SP Od 4iib Ish -tttg 1 The invention relates to plate chains for a continuously variable, adjustable cone friction gear with swivel elements connecting the individual chain links entering the plate apertures, the end surfaces of the hinge elements transmitting friction forces between the friction discs and the plate chain and a constant carrying a common cross section of several arranged in a row of three-plate connection interacting with the hinged elements of the plates. The purpose of the invention is to increase the strength of the chain by more evenly distributing the loads on the individual hinge elements while reducing the cost of the material. The drawing shows a plate chain. The plate chain consists of outer plates 1 and plates 2 arranged between them, hingedly connected to each other with the help of hinged elements 3, with hinged elements passing through the corresponding openings in plates 1 and 2. To obtain an identical cross section of the plates in section, perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the chain with their symmetrical arrangement, the outer plates 1 should be two times less than the inner plates 2. In the drawing on the right there are three loading patterns of the three following ones to other hinge elements (tension), and the forces acting from below have a darker color, and the plates creating forces acting from above are painted in lighter colors ,.
