专利摘要:
A device or planoscope for determining a certain plane through the use of a change in an angle of bands of a moire interference pattern. The device may have several sets of screens of opaque lines separated by transparent lines. Each set of screens has a rearward screen of lines and two forward screens of lines. The first forward screen is angled relative to the length of the rearward screen and the second forward screen is parallel to the rearward screen and is located adjacent a side of the first forward screen. The lines of all three screens are parallel to each other and to the length of the rearward screen. The number of lines per unit width of the rearward screen is different than the number of lines per unit width of the forward screens. When the rearward screen is viewed through the forward screens in the certain plane, the bands of the moire interference pattern which arises are parallel to the screen lines. When the rearward screen is viewed through the forward screens outside of the certain plane, the bands of the interference pattern formed by the rearward screen and the second forward screen are parallel to the screen lines, while the bands of the interference pattern formed by the rearward screen and the first forward screen are angled relative to the screen lines.

专利说明:

The invention relates to the field of optical signaling devices, in particular, to devices that signal an object of its location,
The aim of the invention is to improve the accuracy of information transfer.
FIG. 1 shows the device ft isometric; in fig. 2 - the same, top view; in fig. 3 - a system of moire bands, observable from the side of an object located in the plane to be determined; in fig. 4 - the same, below the definable plane; in fig. 5 the same, above the definable plane; in fig. 6 - device with a light source; in fig. 7 — placing the device on the runway for airplanes; in fig. 8 - the same, side view; in fig. 9 - use of the device for navigation purposes.
The optical transmission of information to an object about its location contains a main 1 and two auxiliary screens 2 and 3 located in front of the main and installed perpendicular to the plane with opaque parallel strips 4 installed in constant pitch, while the width of the bands of all screens is the same and the distances between the lanes of the first sub-screen 2 are not equal to the distances between the lanes of the main one. The first auxiliary screen 2 by means of the hinge 5 is connected by a side with the main screen 1 and is installed at an acute angle about it, and the second screen 3 is installed parallel to the main one by the non-anchored side of the first one. The second auxiliary screen 3 is installed with the possibility of parallel movement relative to the main 1 along the guide 6, and the first screen 2 is connected by a movable fixing link
to adjust the angle between it and the main screen 1. The opaque strips of the screens can be made in the form of rods or tubes, which are fixed within 8.9 and 10. In an embodiment, the device has a disc 11 of transparent matte material and installed behind it under the cap 12 light sources (not shown), while the disk 11 is equal in area to the main screen 1 and is installed behind it. When using the device for landing systems, the aircraft is installed on the sides of the runway 13 at the required angle to the horizons NTU between signal lamp 14 mi.
When using the device for navigation purposes, it is installed, for example, on the bank 15 of the water area 16 on the foundation 17 in an upright position.
The device for the optical transmission of information to the object about its location works as follows.
When the observer is located in a plane perpendicular to the plane of the main screen 1, he sees a series of parallel light and dark stripes (see Fig. 3). When moving it to this plane or higher due to the moire effect, the main 1 and first 2 auxiliary screens, installed at an acute angle to each other, interact, a number of inclined strips are observed with respect to the direction of the strips of the second auxiliary screen 3 (see Fig. 4 and 5), which gives information about the direction and magnitude of the deviation of the object from a given plane. A change in the angle oL leads to a proportional change in the sensitivity of the device to the angle of deviation of the object from a given plane.
