专利摘要:
An electrode for electric arc furnaces, comprising an upper, metallic, water-cooled section and a lower section of consumable material, such as graphite, is held in its given position by means of an electrode support arm (1,2). The connection elements for electric power and liquid coolant (12, 6, 25) are integrated in the electrode support arm and are designed as plug connections.

专利说明:

The invention relates to electrothermal, in particular, electrodes for an arc furnace. The purpose of the invention is to simplify the assembly and disassembly of the assembly. FIG. 1 shows the electrically knot, incision; in fig. 2 shows section A-A in FIG. 1. The electrode assembly contains a cooled metal upper part 1, made of an outer tube 2 with a borrowed casing 3 and coaxially installed in it with the formation of an annular space 4 of the central tube and a lower part of a consumable material connected to the upper part, for example graphite ( not shown). The electrode is provided with a holder made in the form of a console 6. Section 7 of the console 6 adjacent to the electrode is electrically insulated with a gasket 8 from the rest of the console 6. The section with the gasket 8 and the rest of the console 6 can be connected using a flange-screw connection (shown schematically) . The console 6 is equipped with devices for vertical lifting and lowering, as well as for turning (not shown). In the section 7 of the console 6, there is a vertical axis having a bottom-open polo-cylindrical opening for receiving the upper end of the upper metal part 1 of the electrode. To implement the mechanical connection of the electrode with the console 6, the bayonet ring 10 located coaxially with its axis and rotatably mounted on the support 11 is provided at the lower end of the hole 9. The pin ring 10 (FIG. 2) is provided with two diametrically opposite recesses 12, which interact with the corresponding fixing elements 13 mounted on the outer surface of the upper metal part 1. When the upper end of the upper metal part 1 of the electrode enters the opening 9 of the console 6, the locking elements 13 p roped through the notches 12 of the bayonet ring 10 and installed above the bayonet ring 10, after which the ring is rotated 45 ° so that the electrode locking elements 13 go behind the bayonet Holzo 10, as a result of which fixation is achieved with the geometric closure of the electrode in the console 6, turning the bayonet rings 10 can be carried out manually or pneumatically, hydraulically or electrically. Above the hole 9 is installed polycylindrical body 14, located coaxially with the axis of the hole. A housing 15 coaxially mounted in the housing 14 is made with the possibility of axial movement and serves to connect the electric current and the cooling medium. The lower end of the barrel 15 has a tapered downwardly outer surface 16 that interacts with a corresponding tapered inner surface 17 of the contact ring 18 located on the upper end of the upper metal part 1 of the electrode. Contact ring 18 can be welded to the outer tube 2 of the electrode. In the working position of the electrode in the console 6, the conical outer surface 16 of the cup 15 comes into contact with the conical inner surface 17 of the contact ring 18, namely under the action of the compressing spring element 19, which is clamped between the upper wall 20 of the housing 14 and the partition wall 21. the cup 15 and thus crushing the last down. To disconnect the electrode, the cup 15 rises slightly against the force of the spring element 19, namely with the aid of a pneumatic cylinder 22, the piston 23 of which interacts with the inlet pipe 24, which is installed coaxially inside the cup 15 and is rigidly connected to it. The inlet port 24 serves simultaneously to supply a cooling medium and an electric current. For ensuring a reliable connection of the central tube 5 of the electrode with the inlet pipe 24 uses a seal 25 installed either on the inlet pipe 24 or on the central pipe 5. Current is supplied through the inlet pipe 24 to the cup 15, which transfers current to the contact ring 18 of the electrode, from where through the outer 2 and central 5 pipes the current is supplied to the lower portion of the consumable material (graphite).
For removal of the cooling medium, serve the annular space 4 between the outer 2 and central 5 pipes, which through the holes 26 and the annular space 27 the cooling medium enters the lower part of the glass 15, performed as a branch pipe 28, and then through the lower part of the glass 15, the discharge pipe 29 is fed back to the power source for reuse. The branch pipe 29 can also serve to supply a current, as in this case, the current can be transmitted through the cup 15 to the contact ring 18.
All conductive assemblies are made of a material with good electrical conductivity, such as copper.
The electrode is put into operation by inserting the electrode into the receiving opening of the cantilever and simultaneous or subsequent fixing in the cantilever. At the same time, an electric current and a cooling medium are simultaneously connected. In spite of the high thermal and mechanical loads, the electrode is securely attached to the console during operation, thereby achieving a reliable electrical contact.
