    The chipper includes an axially rotatable cutter disc having a frame plate and at least one cutting blade secured to the frame plate. At least one counterblade is axially spaced from the cutting blade. The length of the chips is adjusted by axially displacing a stop member relative to the cutting blade while the axial position of the cutting blade relative to the frame plate, and the relative position of the cutting blade and the counterblade remain unchanged.

    The invention relates to the woodworking industry, in particular to equipment for shredding wood.
    A device for obtaining high-quality chips is known, which includes a blade disc with cutting blades attached to it.
    It is also known to adapt at least one counter knife, a blade disk with a frame and at least one cutting knife 2J.
    The disadvantages of the known devices are the low efficiency and quality of the chips.
    The purpose of the invention is to increase the efficiency and quality of the chips.
    The goal is achieved by the fact that a device for adjusting the length of the chips in the chipper, including at least one blade disk c. the frame and at least one cutting knife are provided with at least one locking element, the latter being connected to the knife disc with the possibility of displacement relative to the cutting knife by means of an adjusting mechanism at the same position of the cutting knife.
    The adjusting mechanism is made in the form of fasteners and adjusting shims, so that the stopper element is attached to the frame of the blade disk.
    FIG. 1 schematically shows the proposed device, side view; in fig. 2 - the same, top view.
    The device contains a blade disk 1 with a shaft 2, to which frame 3 is attached by welding. Frame 3 is attached to the cutting knives D by screws 5. Knives can be placed outside the frame 3 or flush with it. The device has a counter 6. To the frame 3 is fixed using fasteners 7 locking elements 8, which are arranged with a gap relative to the cutting edge of the knife 4. The device has an adjusting mechanism, made in the form of adjusting shims 9 and fasteners 7.
    The adjustment of the chip length in the chipper is performed as follows.
    When the cutting knives 4 or the counter-knives 6 are worn, the distance between the fixed cutting knife 4 and the counter knife 6 is adjusted by moving the counter knife 6, thereby changing the gap between the cutting knife 4 and the counter knife 6. The locking elements 8 fastened to the frame 3 are fixed by means of the fastening elements 7 on the distance of the required length of chips from the cutting edge of the knife 4 using shims 9.
    Thus, by adjusting the length of the obtained chips, the efficiency of the chipper and the quality of the obtained chips are achieved.

    1. DEVICE FOR REGULATING THE CHIP LENGTH IN THE RIGGING MACHINE, containing at least one counter-knife, a knife blade with a frame and at least one cutting knife, which is different in that ·, in order to increase efficiency and quality, the device is equipped with at least one locking element, the latter being connected to the blade disc with the possibility of displacement relative to the cutting knife by means of an adjustment mechanism with the position of the cutting knife unchanged.
