The invention relates to devices for cutting logs into logs of a given length, used in installations for trimming the defective end of the log and sorting the resulting products. A device for sawing logs into segments of a given length, comprising a base, a transverse chain conveyor, a roll table arranged perpendicularly to it, for supplying a feed with a length measuring device, having movable stops arranged at a certain pitch, a saw device and drives fj. The device for cutting the koml is intended to cut the log steplessly to a predetermined length. To the parallel conveyor chains of the device, rods are fixed, on which stoppers or counterpunders are installed at equal intervals. They are attached to the rod with bearings and can be rotated in front of the log to stop its longitudinal movement. In order to allow both longitudinal and transverse displacements of the log to be infinitely variable at a predetermined length, the rod structure has regulating means in the longitudinal direction: a movable guide or groove, one end of the rod is moved along this groove. The log is sawn up in accordance with the impulse that comes from the sorting device, with the base dimension for sawing being determined by the contractors, and the additional length is determined by setting the rail and, therefore, by moving the entire rod. One of the drawbacks of such a device is a relatively large error, and its complexity does not allow for functional safety, especially when the work is carried out with high productivity. In addition, when the device is in operation, the barrel should move back to the accessory, which limits the processing performance, and the end of the log, which is located behind the mouth, due to the fact that it does not have support to support it, can be the cause of defects in work. It is not possible to adapt the device for such support, since the movement of the rod prevents this. The purpose of the invention is to improve the accuracy of sawing, device reliability and productivity. This goal is achieved by the fact that a device for sawing logs into segments of a given length, containing a base, a transverse chain conveyor, a roll table perpendicular to it for longitudinal feed with a length measuring device having movable stops arranged with a defined length. The blade step, the sawing device and the drives, are equipped with an additional sawing device and installed behind the roller table in the course of feeding the cross chain conveyor with an additional roller table parallel to the first one and a driving carriage located behind the additional roller table in the direction of its feed and having at least one guide for moving along it in this direction and at least one chain with an emphasis moved in the direction perpendicular to the movement of the trolley, with the additional saw device extending laid for an additional roller conveyor in the direction of the cross chain conveyor. In addition, the movement drive of the trolley is made in the form of at least one servo cylinder, and the pitch of the stops located on the carriage is equal to half the pitch of the stops of the length measuring device. The movement drive of the trolley 10 is made in the form of at least one servo cylinder 17 or similar movement device. The device works as follows. The trunks of trees 18 from the drying chamber, after completing some operations, are transported one after the other by means of a cross-chain conveyor 2 to the cutting zone. The rotator on the conveyor link (not shown) reverses each log, therefore the sorting area of the butt can determine the place of sawing when sending off the butt. If the part of the barrel is not shortened according to the impulse received from the sorting device, for example by 820 mm, the stop 7 of the group of movable stops of the device 4 is raised, and the roller table 3 moves the barrel to this stop. After that, the saw unit 8 cuts a piece of 600 mm from the trunk. The control device of the carriage 10 selects one of the chains 14 with a stop, the stop 16 rises corresponding to the requirements and the carriage is shifted outward by a length of 220-150 70 mm through the servo cylinder 17 to the outside. Additional 1st roller conveyor 9 moves the pre-cut piece of the barrel to the anvil 16 and the final target trimming of 220 mm is precisely accomplished with the aid of the additional sawing device 11. If it is necessary to cut off the defective end of the barrel, and it is shorter than the modular length (step stops 5–7), then the preliminary retraction becomes optional. In this case, trimming is performed directly in the last stage with the help of the carriage 10, chains with stops, as well as an additional sawing device 11. The most important property of the design according to the invention is its simplicity. The division of the sawing process into two separate phases, as well as the use of two predominantly parallel stops on a light, movable carriage during the course of the last phase, ensure very accurate logging. This is due to the fact that the weight of the trolley is small and the displacement of movement is short; In this case, the location of the cart and at the same time the installation of the final sawing point can be done quickly and precisely in accordance with the requirements, which also affects the performance of the device. The invention can be implemented in various ways: for example, the guides can be positioned under the carriage, in this case the carriage can be positioned on the above rollers of the additional roller table.
