The invention relates to mechanical engineering, in particular to chain transmissions with a continuously changing gear ratio.
A known circuit with a continuously varying gear ratio, comprising lamellar links connected by hinges placed in the holes of the links and having end bevelled surfaces that interact frictionally with conical surfaces. The chain is rotated by the interaction of the convex side surface of the hinge and the edges of the openings of the links, each hinge consisting of two halves rolling one over the other surface having a cylindrical shape of LI 3.
The disadvantages of this are fast wear and noise.
The purpose of the invention is to increase reliability.
The goal is achieved by the fact that in a transmission chain with conical disks with a continuously changing gear ratio containing plate members hinged by axes with tilted in opposite directions with end surfaces that have frictional interaction with working surfaces of conical disks, each link complete with a quadrangular hole, each axis
It is made in the form of a rolling body with a trapezoidal cross section with bent side surfaces and is installed in the said quadrangular opening with the possibility of rolling one side surface along the edge of the aperture of one link and the other along the edge of the aperture of the other link.
The chain is provided with a locking bar to press the axis against the upper longitudinal edge of the quadrilateral opening of the link, and the surface of the axis passing through the smaller base of the trapezoid of its cross section is made with a slot along the axis, and the link is made with two cylindrical holes that are located symmetrically relative to the rectangular opening .

In addition, the chain is equipped with a plate spring, and the links are mounted in two packages and pressed to the ends of the hinge by a plate spring. In link 1, there is a four-cornered hole 2, where two hinges 3 and 4 are placed, the name of the trapezoid shape with a smaller 5 and a larger 6 base. The side surfaces 7 and 8 are convex, and the end surfaces 9 are chamfered. The link is made with two cylindrical holes 10 and 11 and assembled into two longitudinal groups, divided, V-shaped, with a different bracket 12 with bent ends 13 placed in cylindrical holes. The end surfaces 9 of the hinges 3 and 4 have protrusions 14 which interact with the links 1 in the working position. In the working position the hinges are held by means of a locking element made with a bend 15. To facilitate the insertion of the locking element, the side surfaces 7 and 8 of the hinges 3 and 4 have bevels 16, (indicated by a dotted line in FIG. 4). According to another embodiment, the hinge 17 is made composite. On the side surface of its parts, grooves 18 are made to accommodate the locking split ring 19 with the protrusion 20 against the cut. The longitudinal groups of links are separated by an H-shaped element 21. The chain operates as follows. In the space between the hinges 3 and 4 links overlap one another. When the hinges are thin, the stepping distance between each two hinges may be small, which leads to an equal running of the chain, with the edges of the holes in the links rolling over the side surfaces of the hinges. The chain has lower wear due to greater smoothness and higher reliability.
