The burr 36 formed during the welding process protrudes along the perimeter of the rail joint 31, and the rail thread is shortened therewith. After the end of the welding process, the flash butt welding equipment 26 is removed from the hook with the rail and quickly rises, after which the machine 1 moves further in the direction of operation (arrows). In such a way that the hot melt joint 36 occurs in the area of operation of the deburring mechanism 27, which is cut by the knife head 35. To weld the joint on the opposite rail thread, the flash butt welding equipment 26 immediately after the lift moves along the guide column 30 on the other side of the car. A welding process is then carried out on a different rail line. After finishing the welding work, the support device 19 is removed, after which the machine 1 moves further to the next welding point. 5, deburring is performed as follows.
