    A trench hewing tool assembly comprises a cutting blade holder having a shank receiving opening and at least one retaining recess, a cutting blade having a shank disposed in the shank receiving opening, the shank having an inclined wall recess on one side thereof, and a cutting edge member connected to the cutting blade facing a hewing direction. A tapered clamping bolt is connected to the holder and spring loaded toward the blade shank to engage an inclined wall of the inclined wall recess to retain the blade in the holder. A projection is provided on the holder which is spaced from the cutting blade and a guard member has lateral legs which straddle the projection. The guard member includes at least one claw which is engaged on the retaining recess of the holder and has a locking groove in which is received the blade. The guard is held between the blade and the holder. The guard includes projections on either side of the blade receiving groove for guarding the holder and also for widening a cut made by the tool assembly in a lateral direction to prevent jamming of the holder.

    The invention relates to the mining industry, namely to devices for fastening the cutting tool of mining machines. Known devices for fastening a tool of mining machines include a holder with a hole under the tool shank, a protective cutting element and a locking mechanism fll. The disadvantage of this device is the complexity of the design of the locking mechanism, which reduces the reliability of fastening. The closest technical solution to the invention is a tool for fastening the tool of mining machines, including a holder with a hole in which the tool shank with a working head is located, and a protective cutting element with a protrusion that is included in a recess holding bodies 2. The disadvantage of this device is the presence of a gap between the shoulders of the protective cap and the working head, which reduces the reliability of fastening. The purpose of the invention is to increase the reliability of fastening. The goal is achieved by the fact that, in the device for fastening the tool of mining machines, the holder includes a hole with an opening in which the tool shank with a working head is located and a protective cutting element with a protrusion entering the recess of the holder, the protective cutting element is complete with a groove the working head located symmetrically relative to the longitudinal axis of the holder. (P Fig. 1 shows the proposed device for fastening a tool of mining machines, side view, Fig. 2-4 shows the same, top, front and rear views respectively. A device for fastening a tool of mining machines includes a holder 1 with a working head 2, provided with a protective cutting element 3 with working edges 4 mounted on protrusions 5 and made of solid metal.The holder 1 has an opening 6 into which a shank 7 is inserted, made with a recess 8 having an oblique clamping surface 9. The holder 3 has a clamping bolt 10 , in into the recess 8, adjacent to the oblique clamping surface 9 and having a spring 11, which cooperates, for example, with a lever tool 12. The protective element with side flanges 13 is mounted on the protrusion 14 of the holder 1 from the front side and provided with a groove 15 under the working body 7 heads 2 located symmetrically with respect to the longitudinal axis of the holder. The protective element is provided with a protrusion 16 entering the holder recess 17. When the bolt 10 is pushed against the action of the return spring using, for example, a lever tool 12, the working head being disconnected from the holder and the protective element being disconnected from the working head. The proposed device allows reducing the time for replacing the working head and the protective cutting member.

    DEVICE FOR MOUNTING MACHINES TOOL FASTENING, including a holder with a hole in which a shank of a cutter having a working head is located, and a protective cutting element with a protrusion entering the recess of the holder, characterized in that, in order to increase the reliability of fastening, the protective cutting element is made with a groove for the working head of the cutter, located symmetrically relative to the longitudinal axis of the holder.
