    Summary of the invention
    An object of the invention is to provide a locking device of the type described in the preamble which is multi-functional. To this end, the locking device according to the invention is characterized in that the pin is provided with an identification chip. The lock can for instance be attached to the fixed world so that a vehicle can be locked to this during parking. The lock can also be attached to the vehicle so that the vehicle can be locked with the cable around, for example, a rod or gate. After a person has identified himself, a person can rent a vehicle. When the vehicle is taken along, the identification chip indicates if the cable is still stuck in the lock. Furthermore, when parking while inserting the pin into the lock, it can be determined by means of the identification chip what type of vehicle it is and it can be checked whether the vehicle can park at that location.
    A preferred embodiment of the locking device according to the invention is characterized in that the cable is provided with an insulated electrical conductor for supplying power to the object and / or data exchange with an external device such as a back office or docking station.
    The invention also relates to an object, in particular a vehicle, provided with a cable which is attached to the object with one end and whose other free end is provided with a pin which can be inserted into a recess present in a lock and can be locked therein. With regard to the object, the invention is characterized in that the pin is provided with an identification chip.
    An embodiment of the object according to the invention is characterized in that the cable is provided with an insulated electrical conductor for supplying power to the object and / or data exchange with an external device such as a back office or docking station.
    A further embodiment of the object according to the invention is characterized in that the lock is attached to the object.
    Brief description of the drawings

    Detailed description of the drawings
    Figure 1 shows the cable 3 provided with a pin 9 of a first embodiment of the locking device according to the invention. The cable is attached to a vehicle with an end 5, for example a bicycle (not shown) and is provided at the free end 7 with a pin 9 which is provided with an identification chip. The cable 3 is provided with an insulated electrical conductor for supplying power to the object and / or data exchange with an external device such as a back office or docking station.
    Figure 2 shows a second embodiment of the locking device according to the invention. With this locking device 11, both the cable 13 and the lock 21 are attached to the fixed world. The cable is attached to a post 25 with an end 15. This pole is attached to a base plate 27 which is anchored to the fixed world (floor). The free end 17 of the cable is again provided with a pin 19 with ID. The lock 21 is provided with an opening 23 into which the pin 19 can be inserted.     The post 25 with lock 21 can also not be provided with a cable. In that case this pole can form part of the first embodiment of the locking device shown in Figure 1.
    Figures 3 and 4 show a connector 31 of a third embodiment of the locking device according to the invention provided with a pin 39 and cable 33 in perspective and side view, respectively. The connector 31 has a housing 41 to which the pin 39 is attached. Attached to the pin is the cable 33 which runs through the housing and leaves the housing via an opening 43. The cable is attached at the other end to a vehicle, preferably a bicycle (not shown). The connector 31 is provided with a connector 45 for data transfer or power supply for the bicycle.
    Although in the foregoing the invention has been elucidated with reference to the drawings, it should be noted that the invention is by no means limited to the embodiment shown in the drawings. The invention also extends to all embodiments deviating from the embodiment shown in the drawings within the scope defined by the claims.
