Brief description: Door fittings DESCRIPTION:
The invention relates to a door fitting according to the preamble of claim 1.
A general door fitting is known from DE 202007010965 U1.
The invention has for its object to improve a general door fitting such that the door fitting provides an improved burglary prevention which considerably impedes unauthorized manipulations of the door lock.
This object is achieved by a door fitting with the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments are described in the claims below.
In other words, the innovation achieves that access in the axial direction to the cylinder opening of the door shield, and therefore also the locking cylinder accessible through this opening, is hampered in that a blocking body is arranged axially in front of the cylinder opening. Elongated instruments with which, for example, the locking cylinder can be drilled out and subsequently pulled out, or with which the movable elements in the locking cylinder can be moved to a release position, are thus not allowed access, thereby preventing burglary attempts.
According to the invention it is provided that the blocking body is placed at a certain distance from the cylinder opening. This distance makes it possible, just as before, to position a key for the cylinder opening, so that authorized access to the lock remains possible by inserting the key within this distance between the cylinder opening and the blocking body and then in the locking cylinder of the door lock to be able to open or close the door in a known and unaltered manner. The instruments intended for a keyless operation of the locking cylinder, however, are considerably longer than the usual keys, whereby the door fitting ensures that such an access tool cannot be used by providing a correct distance between the door shield and the blocking body. a key must be used, as before, to operate the locking cylinder.
The invention is based on the consideration that elongated break-in tools can only be fitted at such a sharp angle on the shield of the door fitting that, as a result, operation, damage or removal of the locking cylinder is not possible.
It is advantageous if the distance between the blocking body and the cylinder opening is at least 7 cm. This size is sufficiently small to effectively prevent the installation of break-in tools, while still allowing the introduction of the usual key. In addition, this size of approximately 7 cm takes into account that not only the key itself can be entered, but that this distance between the blocking body and the cylinder opening also allows for trouble-free operation of the key, namely because the human hand can without problems it can be entered far that the locking cylinder can still be operated by operating the key.
Particularly in view of a preferably trouble-free key operation, for ease of operation, the distance between the blocking body and the cylinder opening may be 10 cm, with regard to distance still being sufficiently small to prevent the fitting of burglary tools on the locking cylinder in the axial direction for the cylinder opening .
In a first embodiment the blocking body can preferably be designed as a separate element with a spacer, so that the desired distance between the blocking body and the shield of the door fitting can be guaranteed via this spacer. By means of this embodiment as a separate element, the blocking body, when using each door shield, can be retrofitted with, for example, a shield already fitted to the door.
According to a second, likewise advantageous embodiment, it can also be provided that the blocking body and the shield are connected by means of a spacer, so that the blocking body, the shield and the spacer together form a manageable unit.
This permits a particularly robust design of the door fitting in the form of an almost monolithic element.
The blocking body can also advantageously be designed as a door handle, wherein this door handle need not be movable relative to the door leaf, but only serves to pull the door into closed position or to push it out of this closed position.
Advantageously, the shield and / or the blocking body and / or the spacer may consist of stainless steel. Apart from the fact that stainless steel, for example for doors exposed to the elements, allows a durable design of the door fitting, even without additional paint and other coatings, stainless steel offers greater protection against burglary, for example against attempts to pierce the lock to gain access in this way in the axial direction to the cylinder opening and the closing cylinder of the door lock.
The cylinder openings are often designed in the form of a keyhole. In deviation therefrom, the door shield can preferably have an exclusively circular opening, namely at its so-called front side, which is remote from the door leaf. This circular cylinder opening allows you to place and turn a key in the cylinder lock. The locking cylinder itself, however, comprises a typical keyhole-shaped cross-section, that is to say a cross-sectional part which is referred to as a beard according to the above, and wherein in this advantageously described embodiment a recess is provided in the rear side of the shield facing the door leaf, which can receive the beard of the locking cylinder and as such connects to the circular cylinder opening. At the front of the shield there is therefore a material layer of the shield for the recess that the beard of the locking cylinder receives, so that even with a bypass of the blocking body it is not possible to pull the locking cylinder out of the shield of the door fitting as before.
The material thickness of the shield can be in particular 15 mm. On the one hand, this provides a massive design of the door shield, which, for example, makes it possible to position the locking cylinder in the shield in a manner that provides particularly good protection for the locking cylinder, because a mechanical damage to the shield is subsequently required to attack the cylinder. only with a great deal of effort, coupled with a corresponding duration and with a lot of noise is possible, which ultimately considerably increases burglary protection. In addition, this material thickness of the shield of about 15 mm offers the possibility of a mechanically very solid attachment of the spacer, so that the blocking body can be held stable for the cylinder opening of the shield.
For the same reasons, the thickness of the spacer and / or the blocking body can be essentially 5 mm each, so that these respective elements are not only protected against penetrations or other mechanical damage due to their material thickness, but that stable attachment of the adjacent element is also possible. is.
When, as described above, a beard of the locking cylinder is provided in the shield of the door fitting, whereby only a circular cylinder opening is provided at the front of the door fitting, the material thickness of the shield can be used for the beard recess of the door lock is preferably substantially approximately 3 mm, so that mechanical damage to the shield is also made considerably more difficult at this location, which would normally be necessary in order to be able to remove the locking cylinder from the door fitting.
In order to protect the door fitting against dismantling, it can advantageously be provided that there are fastening elements on the shield of the door fitting that enable the shield to be mounted on a door leaf. These fastening elements extend in the direction of the door leaf, but are however covered at the front of the shield. The mounting of the shield or of the total door fitting can therefore be done, for example, from the inside of the door, while these fastening elements cannot be reached from outside, for example to prevent a burglary attempt.
Advantageously, the fastening elements can each have an internal thread, so that the shield can be fixed to the door leaf through the door leaf with the aid of screws.
The shield can preferably be of symmetrical design over its height, so that the door fitting can optionally be used for doors mounted on the right or left. This concerns, for example, holes in the cylinder opening, but also fastening elements, such as threaded bolts or threaded sleeves that are attached to the shield. The door fitting can here preferably be symmetrical over its entire height, also with regard to the design of the blocking body: if the blocking body is also to be used as a door handle, the symmetrical design firstly ensures that the door handle is operated the same for both mounting directions and secondly, this symmetrical design offers an optical advantage, for example, if residential doors are located next to each other on one floor, with doors mounted both to the left and to the right, the symmetrical design provides an optical unit.
Embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail below with reference to purely schematic representations. It shows
FIG. 1 a perspective view obliquely from above on a door with a proposed door fitting,
FIG. 2 a front view of the door fittings,
FIG. 3 a vertical section of the door fitting and
FIG. 4 is a top view of the door fitting of FIG. 1
FIG. 5 a front view of a second exemplary embodiment of a door fitting,
FIG. 6 is a top view of this second exemplary embodiment,
FIG. 7 a side view of a third exemplary embodiment,
FIG. 8 is a perspective view similar to FIG. 1, but on a fourth exemplary embodiment, and
FIG. 9 is a perspective view similar to FIG. 1, but on a fifth exemplary embodiment.
In the drawings, 1 denotes a total of one door fitting, which has a shield 2 and spacer 3 and a blocking body 4. Shield 2 comprises a cylinder opening 5.
In FIG. 1 shows that a locking cylinder 6 of a door lock extends into the cylinder opening and that a key 7 extends into locking cylinder 6 to be able to operate the door lock. The distance at which blocking body 4 is arranged for shield 2 is chosen to be large enough to allow both key 7 to move freely within this distance, so for example to be able to pull out of locking cylinder 6 or to be able to insert it again later into locking cylinder 6, and is also chosen to be large enough to enable a user trouble-free operation of key 7 within this distance. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the distance between the blocking body 4 and shield 2 is approximately 10 cm.
The shield 2 is made of stainless steel, for example from V4A steel, and has a material thickness of 15 mm. The spacer 3, as well as the one-piece plate of blocking body 4 made of the same material, consist of the same material, but with a material thickness of 5 mm. The spacer 3 is welded to the shield 2, so that an almost monolithic unit of the total door fitting 1 is created.
The shield 2 of door fitting 1 is attached to a door leaf 8 of a residential door, and the spacer 3 is so close to the door jamb 9 in a wall 10 that it is not possible, for example, to place a credit card or similar flat instrument next to the lock in the slit insert between door leaf 8 and door jamb 9 and in this way open the door unauthorized.
FIG. 2 illustrates the position of cylinder opening 5 behind the blocking body 4, and it is clear that burglary instruments cannot be set on the locking cylinder 6 in the axial direction, nor that manipulation of the locking cylinder 6 becomes possible by placing the burglary tool at an angle.
In the side view of FIG. 3 shows a cross-section of shield 2 and it is clear that a recess 11 connects downwards to the circular cylinder opening 5, which recess can receive the so-called beard of a locking cylinder. Towards the front of shield 2, however, this recess 11 is covered by a remaining wall thickness of approximately 3 mm of shield 2.
Also, front-facing, on the rear of shield 2 facing towards door leaf 8, there are provided four fastening elements 12, which are designed as wire sleeves and which are each provided with an internal thread. Behind these threaded sleeves there are bores at these four locations in shield 2, for the sake of clarity for the sake of clarity only a fastening element 12 is shown for one of these bores.
FIG. 4 shows a top view of door fitting 1 and it is clear that the 5 mm thick stainless steel plate forming the blocking body 4 and the spacer 3 is tilted twice, namely once in the transition area between the part that forms the blocking body 4 and the part that forms spacer 3, and on the other hand with a much smaller bending angle in the area where spacer 4 connects to shield 2. This very small bending angle ensures that collisions between door fittings 1 and door jamb 9 are avoided, but is the gap between door post 9 and the spacer 3 dimensioned so narrow that it is impossible to install a set-aside tool, such as a crowbar or similar tool.
FIG. Figure 5 shows only by way of example a second embodiment of door fitting 1, wherein blocking body 4 is of smaller design, but still covers cylinder opening 5.
FIG. 6 shows a top view of this second embodiment, in which it appears that blocking body 4 is also designed as a plate in this embodiment. Contrary to this, blocking body 4 can also be made in a different embodiment, for example as a ball or the like. Spacer 3 in this second exemplary embodiment is also designed as a plate to provide the greatest possible mechanical stability against mechanical loads.
However, by way of derogation from this, provision may also be made for the spacer 3 to be rod-shaped, and for an even greater mechanical stability to use two or more rods extending from shield 2 to blocking body 4.
FIG. 7 shows a side view of a third exemplary embodiment of a door fitting. Shield 2 is thereby formed separately from the other elements of door fitting 1 and attached to door leaf 8. Blocking body 4 is formed as an elongated plate which, by means of two spacer holders 3, is not attached to shield 2, but to door leaf 8. The two spacer holders 3 then extend beyond shield 2, so that they can for instance be attached to the narrow edge of door panel 8. screwed, so on the narrow side, where, for example, a bolt or a locking tongue protrudes from the door lock.
In FIG. 8, door fitting 1 is shown, wherein the shield 2, the spacer 3 and the blocking body 4 consist of a multi-curved metal plate. Shield 2 also has no greater material thickness than spacer 3 or blocking body 4. This makes it possible, for example, to mount the door fitting described in this invention between a door panel and an existing key shield 14. In the case of FIG. 8, the door fitting 1 described in the present invention is subsequently mounted on an existing door and an existing door fitting. This existing fitting comprises on the one hand the key shield 14 and on the other hand a door handle 15, so that after mounting of the additional door fitting 1 according to the present invention, the door can now optionally be operated by means of blocking body 4 or by means of the existing door handle 15.
FIG. 9 shows a door fitting 1 according to the invention which, just like with the exemplary embodiment in FIG. 8, shield 2, spacer 3 and blocking body 4 from one curved metal plate. The cylinder openings 5 are arranged symmetrically aligned with each other and one above the other, and the blocking body 4 is also symmetrically shaped over its height, so that this door fitting 1 can be used both in the situation shown as well as in a 180 ° rotated situation, and thus for example on both a door mounted on the right as well as on a left mounted door can be mounted. In addition to cylinder apertures 5, this embodiment comprises a plurality of apertures 16, the two outer apertures 16 of which are formed as circular bores and two separately spaced middle apertures are fused together into a single common aperture 16 in the form of a slot. The openings 16 ensure that a key shield, such as the key shield 14 shown in Fig. 8, can be used as before, to which the door fitting 1 according to the invention has been added. The fastening elements provided with the existing key shield 14 can be used, as before, only slightly longer fastening screws must be used, because the dimension of the material thickness of the door fitting 1 is larger than the originally used fastening screws.
In deviation from the exemplary embodiments shown in FIG. 8 and 9, the symmetrical version of door fitting 1, viewed over the height, can then also be advantageous if door fitting 1 is not provided for retrofitting and, for example, has a shield 2 whose thickness of material is greater than that of spacer 3 and blocking body 4. can for instance also be the case with door fitting 1, as shown in Figs. 1, that blocking body 4 is formed symmetrically over its height, so as to be able to mount door fittings 1 optionally to the right or left of a door, while still allowing an equally good operation of blocking body 4 as a handle.
