专利说明:
Slat system. The present invention relates to a slat system. More specifically, the invention relates to a slat system consisting of a series of parallel slats in the form of profiles which are held at a regular distance from each other by means of a suspension system with holders to form a wall or grid. Due to the fact that the slats are at a distance from each other, the wall is open and passages are created between the slats, through which the wall lets light through, albeit partly shielded, and possibly also allows an air flow for ventilation. The purpose of such a slat system is above all to obtain a certain protection of the space behind against influences from the outside climate, such as protection against rain, wind, vermin, sun and the like. The slats are provided with a sloping portion for this purpose. In order to keep insects out, the aforementioned passages between the slats can be protected with a mesh or grid. A system is also known in which the slats are provided on their side facing the rear space with a leg directed downwards and towards the rear space which extends up to an adjacent underlying slat, this leg being provided with a punching pattern whereby insects can be kept out. By responding to the punching pattern and / or to the composition of the wall with slats with and without punching pattern, a slat system can be realized tailored to the desired application. In this known system, the slats are suspended against the wall by means of vertical holders, each slat being hooked on its upper edge in a recess of such holder and hooked on the lower edge of the downward facing leg in a groove of a adjacent underlying slat. A disadvantage of this known system is that if it is desired to change the initial design and composition of the slat system, for example by replacing an intermediate slat without punching pattern with a slat with punching pattern, it is necessary to remove all underlying slats before the relevant slats are removed. slat can be replaced. Another known system uses a preformed plate or grid that is arranged between the slats and for shielding the passages between the slats. Depending on the function, an insect mesh, bird mesh or a dense plate can be placed between successive slats, so that the slat system can be adapted to the requirements of the user. In this system, the preformed plates are encased with their opposite longitudinal edges in a groove of an upper and a lower slat, the plates being slid axially from one end of the slats into the aforementioned grooves or clipped into the grooves. A drawback of such a slat system is that its mounting is cumbersome, since the slats first have to be attached in order to subsequently fit the preformed plates between the successive slats. Moreover, in the case that the plates are pushed in at least one end of the slats, there must be sufficient space to be able to position the plates in line with the slats so that they can then slide in between the slats. An additional disadvantage in the event that the plates are retracted or clipped is that mounting them requires an additional operation. The present invention has for its object to provide a solution to the aforementioned and / or other disadvantages in that it provides a slat system consisting of a series of parallel slats in the form of profiles that are held at a regular distance from each other by means of a suspension system with holders for forming a wall, grid or the like for shielding a space behind, wherein the slats are inclined and inclined and at least a number of the slats are provided with a leg extending as far as or almost as far as an adjacent slat without however relying on and / or being attached to this adjacent slat and wherein each slat is attached to a longitudinal edge facing the rear space on a holder because this edge is designed as a vertically upwardly directed lip and that the The holder is provided with a downwardly directed rib with the aforementioned lip hooking behind or underneath and including the aforementioned lip is arranged at least partially behind the leg of an adjacent slat. An advantage of a slat system according to the invention is that, because the slats do not rest on each other or are attached to each other, each slat can be removed from the slat system without having to remove another slat and without necessarily using a tool. Indeed, unlike some existing slat systems, the different slats do not rest on each other, so that they can be attached or disassembled independently of each other on the holders. Another advantage is that both slats with the extra leg and slats without an extra leg can be combined. According to a preferred embodiment, each slat is suspended or held in that the slat is mounted exclusively on the aforementioned holders. With the insight to better demonstrate the features of the invention, a few preferred embodiments of a slat system according to the invention are described below as an example without any limiting character, with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: figure 1 shows a front view of a slat system according to the invention; figure 2 represents a section according to line II-II in figure 1; figure 3 represents a cross-section of a slat system according to figure 2 when removing a slat; and, figures 4 to 6 show a number of variants according to figure 2. The slat system 1 shown in Figs. 1 and 2 is made up of a number of parallel slats 2 which are held at regular intervals in height from each other by means of a suspension system with holders 3 for forming a wall for shielding an underlying space 4. In the example shown, two sets of slats are used to form a wall and are subsequently arranged next to each other, the slats 2 of one series being in line with the slats 2 of the other series. In this case the suspension system for each series of slats 2 consists of two vertically oriented holders 3 which are fixed at a certain horizontal distance from each other on a support structure such as a wall or the like or are incorporated in an opening of such support structure. As shown in Figure 2, the different slats 2 are positioned obliquely with respect to the vertical direction. Each slat 2 is provided on the longitudinal edge 5 directed towards the rear space 4 with a vertically upwardly directed lip 6 with which the slat 2 rests against the holders 3. The holder 3 is in turn provided with a downwardly directed rib 7 where the aforementioned lip 6 is hooked at the bottom. Furthermore, the holder 3 is provided with a support 8 facing away from the wall with an upwardly bent end 9. The slat 2 is provided on the side facing the wall with a hook-shaped part 10 which cooperates with the aforementioned bent end 9 of the aid 8. The slats 2 are furthermore provided on their side facing the rear space 4 with a leg 11 directed downwards and towards the relevant space 4, which extends to or substantially up to an underlying slat 2 without relying on it or on it be attached, wherein said leg 11 at least partially overlaps an underlying adjacent slat 2, in particular the lip 6 of the underlying slat 2. It is clear that in the example each slat 2 is supported exclusively by a holder 3. The construction of a slat system according to the invention is very simple and as follows. The slat system 1 is systematically constructed by mounting the different slats 2 on the pre-mounted holders 3. Each slat 2 is clamped between the downwardly directed rib 7 and the support 8 of the holder 3. Because the slats 2 do not rest on each other, the wall 1 can be constructed in different ways. Depending on the situation, the slats 2 can be placed one by one from top to bottom or vice versa. It is also possible to omit certain slats 2 during installation of the slat system 1 in order to be able to place them later or not. The downwardly directed leg of the slat 11 can, as shown in Fig. 2, be of solid design and / or be fully or partially provided with a punching pattern 12. The provision of a punching pattern 12 in the aforementioned leg 11 guarantees that a certain air flow can flow through the slat system 1. Moreover, by placing slats 2 with a modified punching pattern 12, the air flow through the slat system 1 can be adjusted. It is not necessary here to replace all the slats 2. In many cases, it is sufficient to replace a number of slats 2 at a number of places in the slat system 1 in order to increase or decrease the air flow through the wall 1. The slat 2 is provided on the longitudinal edge 13 remote from the rear space 4 with a vertically downwardly directed lip 14. The lip 14 directed downwards offers the advantage that the incidence of light and air passage through the wall 1 is further reduced. By anticipating the length of the aforementioned lip 14, the incidence of light and the passage of air into the space concerned can be optimized. Figure 3 illustrates how a random slat 2 can be removed from the slat system 1 in the wall of Figure 2, for example for replacement by a slat 2 with a different hole pattern. Figure 3 clearly shows that it is possible to remove a single randomly placed slat 2 from the slat system 1 according to the invention by snapping the slat 2 away from the support 8 and tilting it away from the holder 3 around the lip 6 from behind the remove leg 11 from the upper slat and this without having to dismantle and / or move other slats 2 from the wall 1. Figure 4 shows a cross-section of a variant embodiment of a slat system 1 according to the invention. In this embodiment, the hook-shaped part of the slat 10 cooperates in a clickable manner with the upwardly bent end 9 of the support 8. This embodiment is also characterized in that the downwardly directed lip 14 is provided with a rib 15 folded over towards the rear space 4. The folded rib 15 ensures a good drainage of the rain water. Figure 5 shows yet another embodiment which is characterized by the fact that the free edge 16 of the vertically upwardly directed lip 6 is bent in a direction away from the rear space 4, whereby a better watertightness is obtained. The different slats 2 in the form of profiles are generally produced via an extrusion process. The slats 2 can be made in various dimensions and colors and are preferably manufactured from plastic or aluminum. In contrast to the embodiments shown in Figures 2 to 5, in which the leg 11 extends as far as or almost to an adjacent underlying slat 2, Figure 6 shows an embodiment in which the leg 11 extends as far as an adjacent parent slat 2. For this purpose the leg 11 is in this case arranged on the side of the slat 2 facing away from the rear space 4 and wherein the leg is inclined upwards from its base on the slat 2 in a direction away from the rear space 4. The present invention is by no means limited to the embodiments described by way of example and shown in the figures, but a slat system according to the invention can be realized in all shapes and sizes without departing from the scope of the invention.
