Device with two plug halves for fixing to the wall
A device with two plug halves is known from EP 667 654 A2, where one plug half has an operating slider with guide grooves or guide slits and the other plug half has corresponding pins and The pins are moved by the guide slits or guide grooves while the operating slider is in operation. Such a device is particularly useful at the time of insertion of a multipole plug, since it simplifies the application of the insertion force.
Similar electrical connections with control surface systems are also known from DE 36 45 179 C2.
Electrical insertion connectors are known from DE 40 40 740 C2 which ensure a sufficient fixation of the pair of connecting elements to each other. The connecting device includes a fixed frame having a through hole defined by a pair of connecting elements and a pair of side walls. The coupling element can be moved along the side wall in the operating direction and in a direction perpendicular to it. The coupling device includes a guide mechanism, which causes the coupling elements to engage with the other element until one element gradually approaches the other and reaches full engagement. The guide mechanism has pins corresponding to the guide grooves and the plug halves, which cooperate as in the operating slider. The fixed frame is fixed in the conductor plate or the body.
It is known to secure the first member to the second member using an elastic arm with an interlocking nose. It is also known to fix the elastic arms by additional elements. From DE 31 46 874 A1 an insert connector with a means for fixing to the frame member is known, in which a closed nose is arranged, and a complementary insert connector has a blade, which grips the nose Is prevented from releasing from its engagement. It is also known from DE-AS 1 098 565 that elastic arms are arranged on opposite sides of the first plug half portion, and the arms are engaged in openings in the conductor plate, for example, to be fixed by the second insertion connector.
Summary of the Invention
It is an object of the present invention to provide a device having two plug halves for fastening in the wall, which can be simply manufactured and can be securely fixed to the wall without other loose elements.
This object is achieved by a device having the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments are described in the dependent claims of the claims.
The device has two plug halves, one plug halves having an operating slider with guide grooves or guide slits or pins and the other plug halves correspondingly with pins or guide grooves or guide slits. The pins are moved by guide slits or guide grooves while the actuating slider is activated to engage the halves. The first plug half also has at least one elastic arm extending to the side of the plug case. The first plug half has a stopper, and the first plug half can be inserted into the stopper through an opening in the wall. The resilient arm of the first plug half has at least one interlocking nose, which is a wall in which the interlocking nose opposes (opposes) the stopper when the first plug half is inserted up to a stopper in the wall. It is installed to engage the side of the. The second plug half has at least one outwardly projecting arm, which is provided to engage in the intermediate space between the elastic arm and the plug case when the two plug half are engaged with each other to secure the elastic arm. This ensures that the plug pair is fixed to the wall. As a wall, for example, a wall or a sheet of a case may be mentioned, but a conductor plate may also be introduced. It is particularly advantageous if the first plug half has at least one elastic arm on each side and the second plug half also correspondingly has at least one outwardly protruding arm on both sides. In addition to positive support, the outwardly protruding arm of the second plug half is configured such that the pin engages in the guide slits for the first time when the arm is inserted into the intermediate space, whereby the first plug half is in the opening of the conductor plate. It is assured that the operating slider cannot be operated when it is not actually engaged.
Since the actuating slider can generate a large force, it may damage the arm when the actuating slider is already operable before the outgoing arm of the second plug is engaged between the arm and the case of the first plug half. Therefore, it is important to fix exactly as well as to allow a series of insertion steps. It is particularly advantageous if the outgoing arm engages the intermediate space before the pin engages the guide slits. This can be achieved, for example, by advantageously also ensuring that the free end of the arm is on the same plane as the pin, perpendicular to the direction of insertion, and that the inlet of the guide slits is in the wall plane. It is then ensured that the arm can be actuated quickly and the actuating slider can only be operated when the first plug is correctly engaged in the opening of the wall, eg the conductor. If the operating slider has its complement, which enables the complementary means to engage two positions in the corresponding plug half, the two half halves are secured against the wall, with the engagement mechanism in the final position where the two half halves are joined together. It is particularly advantageous that the connection is also achieved.
The invention relates to a device (batch) with two plug halves for fastening to a conductor plate, a case or other wall according to claim 1.
1 is a side view of two plug halves to be joined together, and FIG. 1A is a detailed view showing that the first plug halves are engaged.
Figure 2 is a side view of the two plug halves in the state that the pin is already mounted on the guide slits, Figure 2a is a detailed view showing the engagement in this state,
Figure 3 is a side view of the two plug halves to be joined together, Figure 3a is a detailed view showing the engagement in this state,
Figure 4 is a side view of the two plug halves to be mutually engaged when the first plug halves are not correctly engaged with the wall, and Figure 4a is a detailed view showing the engagement in this state,
Fig. 5 is a side view of two plug halves which are to be mutually engaged in a state where the two plug halves are not mounted on the first plug halves, and Fig. 5A is a detailed view showing the engagement in this state.
Embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
1 shows a first plug half 1 and a second plug half 9 respectively in side views. The 1st plug half part 1 has the plug case 4. As shown in FIG. On the narrow side of plug case 4, two elastic arms 2 and 3 with mating noses 7, 8 are arranged. Plug case 4 has a stopper 5 thereon. In addition, two guide slits 15 and 16 are arranged on the outer wall of the plug case 4. Plug case 4 may be inserted into the wall until it reaches stopper 5 by an opening in wall 6. When the plug half 1 is inserted into the wall 6 up to the stopper 5, the engagement noses 7, 8 of the arms 2, 3 engage the wall at this position. Thus, the plug half 1 is prevented from falling off the wall 6 again.
The second plug half 9 has an operating slider 12, the slider of which can be moved on the guide slider outside the case. The operating slider has two pins 13 and 14. On it the elastic slider 17 with an interlocking nose 18 is arranged. Corresponding engagement structures 19 and 20 are arranged in the case of the second plug half 9. When the interlocking nose 18 is engaged in the structure 19, the operating slider 12 is fixed in the insertion position. When the operating slider 12 is engaged in the engagement nose 20, the slider is fixed in the final position. Arms 10 and 11 are mounted on the side of the case of the second plug half 9.
The method of operation when mutually coupling the plug halves will now be described with reference to FIGS. 2 and 3. 2 shows that the arms 10, 11 of the second plug half part are already in the intermediate space between the arms 2, 3 of the first plug half part and the case 4 of the first plug half part 1. At the same time, the operating slider 12 in the second plug half 9 is in an insertion position in which two pins 13 and 14 of the operating slider can be inserted into the guide slits 15 and 16. Thus, the two plug halves can be engaged with each other only by the operating slider 12, although the arms 10 and 11 can be engaged in the intermediate space between the arms 2 and 3 and the case 4. By actuating the operating slider in the direction of the double arrow shown in Fig. 2, the pins 13, 14 are moved along the guide slits 15, 16. The plug halves 9 and 1 are thereby joined together. 3 shows the coupled state. The operating slider 12 is in its final position. Pins 13 and 14 have reached the ends of the guide slits 15 and 16. The arms 10 and 11 of the second plug half 9 are engaged between the elastic arms 2 and 3 of the first plug half 1 and the case 4 of the first plug half 1. Thus, elastic arms 2 and 3 are fixed. It is not possible to take out two plugs joined together from the wall 6 without taking out the second plug half 9 from the first plug 1.
4, 4a, 5 and 5a, the plug half shown in the drawings so far is shown again, and it is of interest now that the installation state is wrong. In all drawings, the same member number is given to the same member. 4 shows that the first plug half 1 is not mounted correctly in the wall 6. As can be seen from the illustration of FIG. 4A, interlocking nose 8 is located in the through hole rather than engaging on wall 6. Now when attempting to engage the second plug half 9 with the first plug half 1 as shown in FIGS. 5 and 5A, the arms 10 and 11 are inserted in the intermediate space between the arms 2 and 3 of the first plug half 1 and the case 4. It cannot be mounted. This is particularly specified in FIG. 5A. Now, when the operating slider is activated, the two plug halves 1 and 9 do not move with each other because the pins 13 and 14 are not engaged with the guide slits 15 and 16. Thus, the actuating slider can be reliably operated and thus arms 10 and 11 bend as well, which can be the case when the arm is configured too short. Pins 13 and 14 of the operating slider can likewise be protected from damage or rupture.
