The invention and its advantages will be better understood on reading the description which follows, given solely by way of nonlimiting example, and made with reference to the appended drawings, in which:
- Figure 1 is a schematic perspective view illustrating the interior arrangement of a motor vehicle;
- Figure 2 is a schematic perspective view illustrating another interior arrangement of a motor vehicle; and
- Figure 3 is a schematic perspective view illustrating another interior arrangement of a motor vehicle.
The vehicle 2 illustrated in Figure 1 is a motor vehicle. It has a passenger compartment 4 in which seats 6, 8 are arranged for the occupants. The passenger compartment 4 has a floor 10 and a roof 12. The seats 6, 8 are here attached to the floor 10.
In the following description, the terms "front >>," rear "," left "," right "," top "," bottom "," longitudinal "and" transverse "do not mean reference to the orientation usual motor vehicles.
The vehicle 2 comprises at least one retractable separation screen 14, 16 which is movable between a deployed configuration in which the separation screen 14, 16 extends between two seats 6, 8 delimiting inside the passenger compartment 4 two compartments 18 separated by the separation screen 14, 16, each compartment containing 18 one of the two seats 6, 8.
The vehicle 2 may include one or more retractable separation screens 14, 16, each separation screen 14, 16 being arranged to extend between two seats 6, 8 when this separation screen 14, 16 is in the deployed configuration, separating the two seats 6, 8. In the example illustrated, the vehicle 2 comprises several separation screens 14, 16.
The vehicle 2 comprises for example several separation screens 14, 16 arranged so as to compartmentalize the passenger compartment 4 by defining several compartments 18 separated by the separation screens 14, 16 in the deployed configuration, at least one seat 6 being located in each compartment .
The separation screens 14, 16 in the deployed configuration here define individual compartments 18, each compartment containing exactly one seat 6, 8. As a variant, at least one or each compartment 18 comprises at least two seats 6, 8.
The vehicle 2 comprises for example at least one row of seats 20, 22, each row of seats 20, 22 comprising at least two seats 6, 8 aligned transversely. The seats 6, 8 of the same row of seats 20, 22 are for example spaced transversely from each other.
The vehicle 2 here comprises a row of front seats 20 comprising two separate front seats 6, and a row of rear seats 22 arranged behind the row of front seats 18, and comprising two separate rear seats 8. The two front seats 6 are spaced transversely from one another, and the two rear seats 8 are spaced transversely from one another.
The vehicle 2 comprises a dashboard 24 provided with a steering wheel arranged opposite a seat 6 of the front row of seats 20, this seat 6 being intended for the driver of the vehicle.
The vehicle 2 therefore here comprises four seats 6, 8 arranged in a square, and the separation screens 14, 16 are arranged to define four separate compartments 18, each compartment 18 containing a single seat 14, 16.
The vehicle 2 comprises for example at least one longitudinal separation screen 14 arranged to separate two seats 6, 8 from the same row of seats 20, 22 when it is deployed (Figure 1). In the deployed configuration, each longitudinal separation screen 14 extends substantially vertically and longitudinally, being inserted transversely between the two seats 6, 8 of the row.
As illustrated, the vehicle comprises a front longitudinal separation screen 14 arranged to separate the two front seats 6 when it is deployed (Figure 1). In the deployed configuration, this longitudinal separation screen 14 extends substantially vertically and longitudinally, being inserted transversely between the two front seats 6.
As an option or as a variant, the vehicle 2 comprises a rear longitudinal separation screen 12 arranged to separate the two rear seats 6 when it is deployed (Figure 1). In the deployed configuration, this rear longitudinal separation screen 12 extends substantially vertically and longitudinally, being inserted transversely between the two rear seats 8.
As an option or as a variant, the vehicle 2 comprises at least one transverse separation screen 16 arranged to be inserted between seats 6, 8 of two rows of seats 20, 22 distinct when it is deployed. In the deployed configuration, such a transverse separation screen 16 extends substantially vertically and transversely between seats 6, 8 of the two distinct rows of seats 20, 22 spaced apart longitudinally.
The vehicle 2 here comprises two transverse separation screens 16 arranged to separate the front row of seats 20 from the rear row of seats 22.
More specifically, a first transverse separation screen 14 is disposed laterally on one side of the passenger compartment 4, between the driver's front seat 6 and the rear seat 8 located behind the driver's front seat 6, and a second separation screen 16 transverse is arranged laterally on the other side of the passenger compartment 4, between the front passenger seat 6 and the rear seat 8 located behind the front passenger seat 6.
Each separation screen 14, 16 is configured to make a separation between two seats 6, 8 between which it is inserted in the deployed configuration, by preventing viewing or by limiting visibility through the separation screen 14, 16.
Preferably, each separation screen 14, 16 has a light transmission rate of less than 70% in the visible light range.
As an option, the partition 14 has an adjustable light transmission rate, for example over an adjustment range between 10% and 70% in the visible light range, in particular an adjustment range from 10% to 70% in the visible light area.
The adjustment of the light transmission rate is for example obtained by providing the separation screen with one or more mobile adjustment part (s), the movement of which makes it possible to adjust the light transmission rate. The movable adjustment part (s) comprise, for example, orientable slats or fabrics each having an alternation of first bands and second bands, the second bands allowing less light to pass than the first bands, the first bands of a canvas being selectively placed opposite the first bands of the other canvas to let more light through or opposite the second bands of the other canvas to let less light through.
The adjustment is controlled, for example manually or by means of an adjustment device comprising an actuator. The adjustment device is for example configured to automatically adjust the rate of light transmission, for example as a function of a brightness setpoint and a brightness measurement.
Furthermore, preferably, each separation screen 14, 16 is configured to provide sound insulation between two seats 6, 8 between which it is inserted in configuration.
Preferably, each separation screen 14, 16 has an acoustic attenuation index greater than 10 db and preferably 15 db for a frequency range between 40 and 20,000 Hz, in particular over the frequency range of 300 and 1,200 Hz. The frequency plate between 300 and 1200 Hz corresponds substantially to the range of the human voice.
Each separation screen 14, 16 is for example fixed on the floor 10 and configured to retract on the floor 10 and to deploy from the floor 10, towards the pavilion 12, or fixed on the pavilion 12 and configured to retract on the roof 12 and to deploy from roof 12 to floor 10, or fixed to a seat 6, 8, for example a seat back, and configured to retract onto seat 6, 8, and to deploy from seat 6, 8, to pavilion 12.
In FIG. 1, each separation screen 14, 16 is configured to retract on the floor 10 and to deploy towards the roof 12 from the floor, 10. Each separation screen 14, 16 is dimensioned to extend substantially from floor 10 to pavilion 12.
Each longitudinal separation screen 14 arranged to separate two seats 6, 8 from the same row of seats 20, 22, is configured to retract on the floor 10 between these two seats 6, 8, and deploy vertically upwards to separate these two seats 6, 8 from one another.
Each transverse separation screen 16 arranged to separate seats 6, 8 from two distinct rows of seats 20, 22, is configured to retract on the floor 10 between the two rows of seats 20, 22, and deploy vertically upwards to separate seats 6, 8 from two separate rows of seats 20, 22.
In the example of Figure 1, each separation screen 14, 16 is intended to be deployed manually. To maintain each separation screen in the deployed configuration, each separation screen is provided on its upper edge with fastening devices 24 allowing its attachment to the roof. The fastening devices 24 are for example hooks intended to cooperate with fastening members 26 disposed on the roof 10.
Alternatively or optionally, it is possible to provide deployment cords extending between an upper edge of at least one or each separation screen and the roof, the deployment cords making it possible to pull the separation screen from the floor towards the roof to move it from the retracted configuration to the deployed configuration. The deployment ropes of the separation screen are for example actuated manually or by means of an actuator.
Alternatively, it is possible to provide an automatic deployment device associated with at least one or each separation screen and allowing the separation screen to be erected automatically from the floor, for example in the form of telescopic rods intended to be shrink to retract the screen or to stretch to extend the separation screen.
To maintain a separation screen 14, 16 in a substantially vertical plane, it is possible to provide guides associated with each separation screen, these guides extending substantially vertically between the floor and the roof. In one embodiment, such guides are formed of guide cords 28 stretched between the floor and the roof.
Each separation screen 14, 16 is for example configured to retract by folding, for example in accordion, or by rolling up. In this second case, each separation screen is associated with a reel actuated manually or by an actuator. In FIG. 1, each separation screen 14, 16 is configured to retract by being rolled up by a reel 30 associated with this separation screen.
In FIG. 1, each separation screen 14, 16 is configured to retract on the floor 30. The reel 30 is here fixed on the floor 30. As a variant, at least one or each separation screen 14, 16 is retractable , in the retracted configuration, in a housing provided on the part of the passenger compartment on which the screen retracts in the retracted configuration. Such a separation screen 14, 16 is for example configured to retract, in the retracted configuration, in a housing formed in the floor.
The vehicle of Figure 2 differs from that of Figure 1 in that each separation screen 14, 16 is fixed on the roof 12 and configured to retract on the roof 12 and to deploy vertically downwards (See arrows F2 ), from pavilion 12 to floor 10
Furthermore, each separation screen 14, 16 is provided to retract by folding, here in accordion. As a variant, at least one or each separation screen 14, 16 is configured to retract by rolling up.
The vehicle 2 in Figure 3 differs from that in Figure 1 in that the transverse separation screens 16 arranged to separate seats 6, 8 from the rows of seats 20, 22 and extending between the floor 10 and the roof 12 are replaced by transverse separation screens 16 fixed on the backs 32 of the front 8 seats, each transverse separation screen 16 being configured to retract on the back 32 of a front seat 8 and to deploy vertically upwards ( Arrows F1), from the backrest 32 of the front seat 8 to the roof 12.
In a possible variant, the vehicle comprises at least one transverse separation screen 16 fixed to the roof 12 is configured to retract on the roof 12 and to deploy downwards, from the roof 12 to the back 32 of a seat 8.
Thanks to the invention, it is possible to compartmentalize the passenger compartment of a vehicle to allow one or more passengers of the vehicle to isolate themselves from the rest of the passenger compartment, and in particular other passengers of the vehicle. A separation screen allows visual, acoustic and possibly olfactory isolation.
Advantageously, the separation screens are arranged to be able to compartmentalize the passenger compartment, defining individual compartments, each individual compartment containing a single seat.
The application of the invention is advantageous in a motor vehicle, in particular in an autopilot motor vehicle capable of moving on the road independently, without driver intervention.
It is also advantageous in motor vehicles practicing carpooling, with a human or automatic pilot, to separate passengers who do not necessarily know each other.
The retraction of a separation screen on or in the floor of a passenger compartment of the vehicle allows discreet storage of the separation screen when the screen is retracted, in particular when the separation screen retracts into a housing provided. in the floor.
The invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiments described above.
The exemplary embodiments of Figures 1 to 3 can for example be combined, for example by providing in combination at least one separation screen fixed to the floor, at least one separation screen fixed to the roof and at least one separation screen fixed on a seat, for example a seat back.
The invention does not apply only to motor vehicles, but can be applied to other types of vehicles, for example rail passenger vehicles or passenger aircraft.
