专利说明:
ADAPTER FOR CONNECTING A WIPER BROOM TO A DRIVE ARM OF A WIPER SYSTEM The present invention relates to wiping systems for a motor vehicle, and more particularly relates to an adapter constituting a connection device for such a wiping system. Motor vehicles are commonly fitted with windshield wiper systems to sweep glass surfaces, in particular the vehicle's front windscreens or rear windows, and to prevent the driver's vision of his environment from being disturbed. . These wipers conventionally comprise elongated blades, carrying scraper blades made of an elastic material, driven in movement by a drive arm to which they are attached by an appropriate connection device. The drive arm is itself connected to a drive device which moves it in an angular back and forth movement. The scraper blades rub against the glass surface and remove water and dirt from it, bringing them outside the driver's field of vision. The connection device conventionally comprises a connector and an adapter which connect the wiper blade to the drive arm by allowing a degree of freedom in rotation between these components. The connection device also provides removable between the wiper blade and the drive arm, so that the wiper blade can be replaced when it is used. When replacing the wiper blade, the user must rotate the wiper blade relative to the drive arm. There is then a risk of "over-rotation", that is to say a risk of excessive rotation of this wiper blade relative to the drive arm. The adapter allowing the connection between this wiper blade and this drive arm can be damaged by such "over-rotation". More specifically, this adapter conventionally comprises a flexible tab from which emerges a button configured to lock the adapter in the drive arm. In case of "over-rotation", this flexible tab can break, the adapter then no longer being able to fulfill its function of connection with the drive arm. The purpose of the invention is to limit the risk of breakage when changing these wiping brushes by providing an adapter for a connection device comprising a device making it possible to avoid the risk of over-rotation. The present invention thus relates to an adapter intended to connect a wiper blade to a drive arm of a wiper system for a motor vehicle, the adapter extending mainly along a longitudinal axis and comprising at least: - a body comprising two sides connected to each other, at least in part, by a material bridge, - a head forming a first longitudinal end of the adapter, - a rear part forming a second longitudinal end of the adapter opposite the first longitudinal end with respect to the body, - a flexible tab from the adapter body and a button emerging from the flexible tab, this button being configured to lock the adapter in an end part of the drive arm of the wiping system. According to the present invention, the button has at least one retaining member configured to limit movement of the adapter along a direction perpendicular to a plane in which the material bridge is inscribed, and the adapter comprises a device limiting the rotation of the flexible tongue relative to the rear part of the adapter. The button on the flexible tongue blocks the translational movements along the longitudinal axis, and the retaining member makes it possible to block the movements of the adapter in the direction perpendicular to the bridge of material. This retaining member defines, with the button from which it comes and with the flexible tongue, a reception zone configured to receive an edge of the terminal part of the drive arm. The retainer extends in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis, from the button and towards the body of the adapter. According to the present invention, the device for limiting the rotation of the flexible tongue relative to the rear part of the adapter comprises at least one tab which bears on the rear part of the adapter. The flexible tongue extends mainly in an extension plane in which the longitudinal axis is inscribed. The tab extends mainly along a vertical axis, this vertical axis being perpendicular to the extension plane of the flexible tongue. The flexible tab button also extends along the vertical axis of the tab, this button therefore extending perpendicular to the flexible tab from which it originated. According to a characteristic of the present invention, the tab is made of material at least with the button. More specifically, the tab extends in the extension of the button, therefore perpendicular to the flexible tongue, this tab and this button extending in opposite directions along the vertical axis. The tab can also be partially made of material with the flexible tongue. According to a characteristic of the present invention, the tab has an L shape, this tab comprising a small branch and a large branch. The long side of this tab can for example come from the button of the flexible tongue and the small branch rests on the rear part of the adapter. According to a characteristic of the present invention, the rear part comprises at least one side panel coming from a side of the body of the adapter. According to a first embodiment of the present invention, the device for limiting the rotation comprises a single tab which emerges from the button of the adapter by its large branch and whose small branch bears on a lower edge of the side panel of the rear part. It is understood that the lower edge is located opposite an upper face of the adapter, in which the flexible tongue extends, relative to the longitudinal axis. According to the present invention, the rear part of the adapter can comprise two side panels respectively from each of the sides of the body of the adapter and a bottom wall connecting these two side panels. This rear part can then surround, at least partially, the button and the device for limiting rotation. According to a variant of the first embodiment, the tab emerges from the button of the flexible tongue by its large branch and the small branch of this tab is supported on a lower edge of the bottom wall of the rear part. According to a second embodiment of the present invention, the device for limiting the rotation of the flexible tongue relative to the rear part of the adapter comprises two tabs. According to this second embodiment, each of the legs emerges from the button by its large branch and bears on the rear part thanks to its small branch. According to different variants of this second embodiment, each tab can be supported either on the lower edge of the bottom wall of the rear part, or on the lower edge of one of the side panels of this rear part. According to a characteristic of the present invention, the head of the adapter has at least one ear coming from a shoulder joining the head and the body, this ear being configured to be received in a hole made in the end part of the arm. training. According to a characteristic of the present invention, at least one external face of one of the sides of the body comprises at least one crank pin configured to be received in a hole provided in the end part of the drive arm. According to the invention, the hearing of the drive arm may have a "U" shape capable of receiving both the ear of the head of the adapter and the crank pin of the body of this adapter. According to the present invention, the crankpin and the ear of the adapter are aligned along the longitudinal axis of the adapter. The invention also relates to a wiper blade comprising at least one adapter according to the present invention. The invention also relates to a wiping system comprising a wiper blade according to the present invention and a drive arm of which an end portion has two side walls and a top wall, a hole being provided in each of the side walls, each gills being configured to cooperate with an ear and / or a crank pin of the adapter and the upper wall of the terminal part being provided with an orifice intended to receive the button of the adapter, an edge of this orifice being interposed between the retaining member and the flexible tongue. At least one of the edges of the orifice formed in the upper wall of the end part of the drive arm is thus received in the reception zone delimited by the retaining member, by the button from which it originates and by the flexible tab from which this button emerges. It is therefore understood that the retaining member bears on the edge of the orifice made in the upper wall and in which the button of the flexible tongue is inserted, thus ensuring a blocking of the adapter in the vertical direction. According to the present invention, the end part of the drive arm may have a clear “U” shaped space configured to receive the adapter, the sides of this “U” shape corresponding to the side walls of the end part and the base of this "U" shape corresponding to the upper wall of this terminal part. Thus, it is understood that the side walls of the end part of the drive arm cover the sides of the body of the adapter and that the upper wall of this end part covers at least the material bridge of this body as well as the flexible tongue of the adapter. According to the present invention, each of the side walls of the end part of the drive arm has a terminal edge which is in a plane parallel to the upper wall of this end part. Other details, characteristics and advantages will emerge more clearly on reading the detailed description given below for information, in relation to the various embodiments illustrated in the following figures: FIG. 1 is a schematic representation of a wiping system according to the present invention; FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a device for connecting the wiping system according to the present invention; FIG. 3 is a perspective view of an adapter of the connection device illustrated in FIG. 2; FIG. 4 is a perspective view from below of the adapter of the connection device shown in FIG. 2; FIG. 5 is a perspective view of an end part of a drive arm of a wiping system according to the present invention; FIG. 6 is a schematic representation of a longitudinal section, here vertical, made at the level of a connection between the adapter and the end part of the drive arm of the wiping system according to the present invention. In the following description, the longitudinal or transverse designations refer to the orientation of an adapter of a wiping system. The longitudinal direction corresponds to a direction of longitudinal extension of the adapter, this longitudinal direction being parallel to an axis Ox of an orthonormal coordinate system for example represented in FIG. 1. A transverse direction corresponds to a direction parallel to an axis Oy of this orthonormal reference, the axis Oy being perpendicular to the axis Ox. A vertical direction corresponds to a direction parallel to an Oz axis of the orthonormal coordinate system, the Oz axis being perpendicular to the Ox axis and to the Oy axis. The transverse sections mentioned below are produced according to cutting planes in which the axes Oy and Oz of the orthonormal coordinate system are inscribed, and the longitudinal sections are in turn carried out according to a cutting plane in which the axes Ox are registered. and Oz of this orthonormal benchmark. With reference to FIG. 1, a motor vehicle is commonly equipped with a wiping system 100 for removing water and / or dirt present on a glazed surface 1, in particular a rear window or a motor vehicle windshield. The wiping system 100 comprises a drive arm 2 capable of performing an angular reciprocating movement along and above the glass surface 1. The bottom of the drive 2 may include a driver 3 responsible for ensuring a mechanical connection between the drive arm 2 and a drive shaft (not shown) in rotation of the drive arm 2. The wiping system 100 also comprises a wiping brush 4 which extends along a longitudinal axis, parallel to the axis Ox, called the longitudinal axis X. The wiping brush 4 comprises at least one air deflector 5 and a scraper blade 6 connected to each other by a structural element 7 of the wiper blade 4, the latter then being devoid of lifting beams. Such a structural element 7 can for example be formed by a single bending member, or by a plurality of bending members or by a support in which one or more bending members are threaded. The air deflector 5 is designed to transform a pressure applied by a flow of air flowing along the glass surface 1 into a force for pressing the wiper blade 4 against the glass surface 1 of the motor vehicle. The scraper blade 6 is the part of the wiper blade 4 in direct contact with the glass surface 1 and it is configured to evacuate the water and / or the dirt present on the latter. The air deflector 5, the scraper blade 6 and the structural element 7 form a semi-rigid assembly carried by a connection device 8, interposed between the drive arm 2 and the wiper blade 4. Conventionally, this connection device 8 comprises an adapter and a connector, the connector being connected on the one hand to the wiper blade 4 and on the other hand to the adapter, and the adapter being connected to both the connector and to an end portion 11 of the drive arm 2. The connection device 8 thus provides a mechanical connection between the end portion 11 of the drive arm 2 and the wiper blade 4. This connection device 8 also makes it possible to separate the wiper blade 4 from the drive arm 2 , for a replacement of the wiper blade 4. FIG. 2 illustrates the connection device 8 of the present invention comprising the adapter 9 and the connector 10, where the adapter 9 is the part which is housed in the end part 11 of the drive arm 2, this end part 11 also being shown in this figure 2. As illustrated, the connection device 8 extends along the longitudinal axis X. The connector 10 comprises an upper part, called pivot support 12 and a lower part, called base 13. The denominations “lower” and “upper” must be understood with reference to the end part 11 of the drive arm, in this sense that this end portion 11 covers an upper portion of the connection device 8. Thus, the pivot support 12 and the base 13 are aligned, along a vertical direction Z, this vertical direction Z being parallel to the axis Oz of the orthonormal coordinate system as shown in FIG. 2 and therefore perpendicular to the longitudinal axis X of the connection device 8. It is understood that the pivot support 12 is responsible for ensuring a rotation relative to the adapter 9 and extends in a clear space in the shape of a "U" in the adapter 9, as will be described below. . According to an exemplary embodiment, the base 13 takes the form of two hooks which enclose a structural element of the wiper blade, this structural element can for example be a bending member as previously described. As illustrated, an orifice 14 is formed in an upper wall Î5 of the end portion 11 of the drive arm 2, this orifice 14 being configured to receive a button 16 coming from the adapter 9 and which has a retaining member 17. As illustrated, this retaining member 17 extends in a direction parallel to the upper wall 15 and is intended to come into abutment against one of the edges 18 delimiting the orifice 14. It is understood that the button 16 allows a first locking of a translation of the adapter 9 along the longitudinal axis X and that the retaining member 17 allows a second locking of the adapter 9 in the vertical direction Z. As this is visible in FIG. 2, the edges 18 of the orifice 14 serve as a stop for this button 16 and for this retaining member 17. Despite these blockages, it is important that the connection device 8 retains a certain degree of freedom in rotation relative to the end portion 11 of the drive arm, in particular in order to allow the wiper blade to be changed when it is worn. When changing this wiper blade, there is a risk for the user to mismanage the rotation of the wiper blade and to perform an excessive rotation which can then damage the connection device, and more particularly the adapter. of this connection device. The invention thus provides an adapter comprising a device for limiting this rotation in order to prevent the user from damaging his wiping system during this change. The adapter according to the present invention is thus adapted both to an initial market and to an after-sales market. This device for limiting rotation will be described more fully in the following description, in particular with reference to FIGS. 3 and 4. The end portion 11 of the drive arm 2 also comprises two side walls 19. Only one of these side walls 19 is visible in FIG. 2 but it is understood that the other faces it, these two side walls 19 being able to be symmetrical by with respect to the longitudinal axis X. A hole 20 is formed in at least one of these side walls 19, this hole 20 having a "U" shape configured to receive a crank pin 21 and an ear 22 coming from the adapter 9. This crank pin 21 and this ear 22 will be more fully described in the following description. It is understood that this crank pin 21 and this ear 22 are configured to cooperate with the hearing 20 formed in the end part 11 of the drive arm and thus make it possible to guide and center the adapter 9 during its assembly in the end part 11. ίο FIGS. 3 and 4 are perspective views of the adapter 9 according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, this adapter 9 being seen from the side in FIG. 3 and from below in FIG. 4. The adapter 9 according to the present invention extends mainly along the longitudinal axis X and comprises, in order along the longitudinal axis X, a head 23, a body 24 and a rear part 25. According to one aspect of the present invention, the longitudinal axis X can form an axis of symmetry of the adapter 9. As illustrated, the head 23 forms a first longitudinal end of the adapter 9 and the rear part 25 forms a second longitudinal end of this adapter 9, this first end and this second end being opposite with respect to the body 24 of the adapter 9. The body 24 of the adapter 9 is delimited at least by two flanks 26 interconnected at least by a bridge of material 27, so as to take a "U" shape, seen from above. It will then be understood that the base of this U is produced by the material bridge 27 and the sides of U are produced by upper edges 28 of the sides 26 of the body 24. This body 24 also has a U-shaped cross section, this cross section being in a plane parallel to the Oyz plane. This shape of "U" allows to clear a space configured to receive the pivot support 12 of the connector, as previously mentioned. The material bridge 27 extends along a main extension plane which defines an upper face of the body 24. As previously mentioned, the adapter 9 comprises at least one pin 21 configured to be received in the household opening in the side wall of the end part of the drive arm. As can be seen in FIGS. 3 and 4, the crank pin 21 is produced on at least one of the flanks 26 of the body, and more particularly on an external face of this flank 26, in other words on a face intended to cooperate with the end part of the drive arm described above. It is thus understood that these flanks 26 also each comprise an internal face, opposite the external face of the corresponding flank 26, and intended to cooperate with the connector of the connection device, and more particularly with the pivot support of this connector. As can be seen in FIG. 4, the adapter according to the present invention comprises two crank pins 21 respectively formed on each of the sides 26 of the body 24 of the adapter 9. These crank pins 21 each have a cylindrical shape and extend in a transverse direction Y, parallel to the axis Oy of the orthonormal reference as shown in FIG. 4. These crank pins 21 thus extend in a direction perpendicular to the axis longitudinal X of the adapter 9 and away from the body 24. It is understood that these crankpins 21 are configured to facilitate assembly of the adapter 9 with the end part of the drive arm. As mentioned, the adapter 9 also includes a head 23 which extends longitudinally in the extension of the body 24, along the longitudinal axis X previously defined. As can be seen in FIGS. 3 and 4, the head 23 is higher and / or wider than the body 24 of the adapter 9. A shoulder 31 is thus formed which partially covers the external faces of the sides 26 of the body 24. This shoulder 31 serves as a stop for the end part of the drive arm, at least at a longitudinal end edge of the side walls of this end part which comes to rest thereon when the adapter 9 is mounted in this part terminal. According to an exemplary embodiment, the head 23 has a cross section, that is to say a section of the head 23 which is inscribed in a plane parallel to the plane Oyz of the orthonormal reference frame, in the shape of a "U" which, as for the body 24, allows to clear a space in which the connector participating in the connection device can extend and debate in rotation. The adapter 9 also comprises at least one ear 22 intended to be received in the ear provided in the terminal part of the drive arm. This lug 22 extends longitudinally, that is to say along the longitudinal axis X, from the head 23 and at least partially encroaching on the external face of one of the sides 26 of the body 24. L ear 22 is born on the shoulder 31 and has a curved shape whose apex of the curvature is oriented towards the body 24 of the adapter 9. As previously mentioned, this ear 22 performs a wedging and centering function of the adapter 9 in the end part of the drive arm. Such an ear 22 can for example be formed by a single half-disc coming from the head 23 of the adapter 9, as can be seen in FIGS. 3 and 4. According to a characteristic of the present invention, one ear 22 can encroach on one of the flanks 26 of the body 24, or two ears 22 can respectively encroach on each of the flanks 26 of this body 24. Finally, the adapter 9 comprises a rear part 25 which also extends along the longitudinal axis X, away from the body 24. According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention illustrated in FIGS. 3 and 4, this rear part 25 comprises two side panels 32 interconnected by a bottom wall 33, this rear part 25 thus having a "U" shape, seen from below, as for example shown in FIG. 4. Each of the side panels 32 of this part rear 25 emerges from one of the sides 26 of the body 24, these side panels 32 and these sides 26 partially overlapping. The rear part 25 of the adapter at least partially surrounds a flexible tongue 34 made of material with the material bridge 27 of the body 24 and also extending along the longitudinal axis X. In other words, this flexible tongue 34 is surrounded by on the one hand by the shape of “U” of the rear part 25, and on the other hand by the material bridge 27 of the body 24, this material bridge 27 thus closing the shape of “U” of the rear part 25 . The flexible tongue 34 has the button 16 configured to be housed in the opening in the upper wall of the end part of the drive arm as previously described. This button 16 extends mainly along a vertical axis Z ′, parallel to the axis Oz of the orthonormal coordinate system, and presents the retaining member 17 which extends mainly in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis X, from the button 16 and towards the body 24 of the adapter 9. A device 35 for limiting a rotation of the flexible tongue 34 relative to the rear part 25 also comes, at least in part, from the button 16. This device 35 for limiting the rotation of the flexible tongue 34 is configured to avoid excessive rotation - also called "over-rotation" - of this flexible tongue 34, for example during a change of wiper blade, by relative to the rear part 25 of the adapter 9. In fact, in the event of over-rotation, the flexible tongue 34 could break, which would then render the adapter 9 unusable. According to a first embodiment of the present invention illustrated in Figures 3 and 4, the device 35 for limiting the rotation of the flexible tongue 34 comprises two legs 36 which extend mainly in directions parallel to the vertical axis Z 'according to which extends the button 16, these tabs 36 and this button 16 extending in two opposite directions. As is particularly visible in FIG. 4, these lugs 36 come from both the button 16 and the flexible tongue 34 carrying this button 16. These legs 36 each include a large branch 37 and a small branch 38, thus taking the form of an "L". As can be seen in particular in FIG. 4, these tabs 36 emerge from the button 16 and from the flexible tongue 34 by their large branch 37, their small branch 38 extending towards the outside of the part rear 25, in the transverse direction Y. In other words, these small branches 38 extend transversely away from the adapter 9. It is therefore understood that according to the embodiment illustrated in Figures 3 and 4, the small branches 38 of these legs 36 are configured to come into abutment respectively against each of the side panels 32 of the rear part 25. More specifically, the small branches 38 of these lugs 36 come to bear against lower edges 39 of these side panels 32. In order to allow the adapter 9 to rotate relative to the end part of the drive arm in which it is assembled, the flexible tongue 34 is movable relative to the rear part 25 of the adapter 9. When, due to example of a rotation of the wiper blade, the flexible tongue 34 moves, it is understood that its movement is limited by the lugs 36. Indeed, the small branches 38 of these lugs 36 come to bear against the lower edges 39 of the side panels 32 of this rear part 25 which then serve as a stop for these lugs 36. The rotation of this flexible tongue 34 relative to the rear part 25 of the adapter 9 is thus limited, preventing the rupture of this flexible tongue 34. It is indeed understood that in the event of rupture of this flexible tongue 34, the first blocking and the second blocking of the adapter relative to the end part of the drive arm described above are no longer ensured, the adapter 9 is therefore unusable. According to a second embodiment of the present invention not shown, the device for limiting the rotation of the flexible tongue comprises a single tab configured to bear on the bottom wall of the rear part of the adapter or on one of the two side panels of this rear part. According to an alternative embodiment applicable to the first exemplary embodiment or to the second exemplary embodiment, the rear part of the adapter comprises a single lateral panel emerging from one of the sides of the body of this adapter, the lug (s) then taking support against this single side panel. FIG. 5 is a perspective view of the end part 11 of the drive arm, this end part 11 extending mainly along the longitudinal axis X. As described with reference to FIG. 2, this end part 11 comprises the upper wall 15 from which the two side walls 19 originate. In a transverse section, the end part 11 thus has a U-shaped profile, each of the side walls 19 ending in a terminal edge 40. As illustrated in this FIG. 5, each of these end edges 40 fits in a plane parallel to the upper wall 15. It is understood that the "U" shape of this terminal part 11 clears a space configured to receive the adapter, as illustrated in FIG. 2. As previously described, the side walls 19 each have a longitudinal end edge 41 intended to bear against the shoulder formed by the covering of the body of the adapter by the head of this adapter. In order to allow rotation of the adapter in a counterclockwise direction around the axis Oy of the orthonormal coordinate system, a clearance is provided between this shoulder and each of the longitudinal end edges 41 of the terminal part 11 of the drive arm. The side walls 19 of the terminal part 11 are also provided with louvers 20, each of these louvers 20 being formed longitudinally from one of the longitudinal end edges 41 of this terminal part 11. As previously described, each of these gills 20 has a U shape and is configured to receive both the ear coming from the head of the adapter and the crank pin produced on at least one of the external faces of the sides of the body of this adapter. The rotation of the adapter around the axis Oy is also permitted by the “U” -shaped space of this end portion 11 as well as by a clearance provided between each crank pin formed on the adapter and the hole 20 formed in the terminal part 11 of the drive arm with which it cooperates. This rotation of the adapter makes it possible to change the wiper blade when it is worn but generates a risk known as “over-rotation”, that is to say a risk of too great a rotation of the adapter with respect to the drive arm - and more particularly with respect to the end portion 11 of this drive arm - which can damage this adapter and then make it unusable. As previously mentioned, the present invention makes it possible to limit this risk thanks to the device for limiting the rotation of the flexible tongue relative to the rear part of the adapter. The upper wall 15 of this end portion 11 comprises the orifice 14 configured to receive the button from the flexible tongue of the adapter. This orifice 14 has a rectangular shape and is thus delimited by four edges 18. As previously mentioned, at least one of these edges 18 serves as a stop for the retaining member issuing from the button. Figure 6 is a schematic view of a longitudinal section, that is to say a section made along a plane parallel to the plane Oxz, made at the orifice 14 formed in the upper wall 15 of the end portion 11 of the training arm. As illustrated, the flexible tongue 34, the button 16 and the retaining member 17 delimits a reception zone configured to receive at least one of the edges 18 delimiting the orifice 14. It is understood from this FIG. 6 that the edges 18 of the orifice 14 serve as a stop for both the button 16 and the retaining member 17 of this button 16, thus ensuring the first blocking and the second blocking described above. It is understood from reading the above that the invention allows a user to change a wiper blade of the wiping system of his vehicle, without risking damaging this wiping system by excessive rotation. This objective is achieved by means of an adapter comprising a device for limiting the rotation of the flexible tongue relative to the rear part of this adapter. The invention cannot however be limited to the means and configurations described and illustrated here, and it also extends to all equivalent means or configurations and to any technical combination operating such means. In particular, the shape and the arrangement of the device limiting the rotation of the flexible tongue relative to the rear part of the adapter can be modified without harming the invention, insofar as it fulfills the same functions as those described in this document.
