Field of the invention
The subject of the invention is a method and a system for warning a traffic participant who is in a car park equipped with a surveillance system.
Finally, the subject of the invention is an equipped parking lot and a computer program for implementing the warning process.
State of the art
According to document DE 10 2014 211 557 A1, an automatic valet system is known for automatically driving a vehicle to a parking space in a parking lot.
Document US 2010/0156672 A1 describes a system and a method for automatically storing a vehicle.
Document US 9,248,834 B1 describes a concept for predicting the trajectory of an object.
Purpose of the invention
The object of the present invention is to develop effective means for effectively warning a traffic participant who is in a parking lot.
Presentation and advantages of the invention
To this end, the subject of the invention is a method for warning a traffic participant who is in a car park equipped with a surveillance system, this method consisting in monitoring the car park with the surveillance system, determining whether the participant must be warned of a risk in the car park, based on surveillance and warn the participant if the determination operation has shown that he must be warned of a risk.
According to another development, the subject of the invention is a system for warning at least one participant in traffic who is in a car park comprising a surveillance system for monitoring the car park, a processing installation for determining whether the participant must be warned of an existing risk in the car park based on surveillance and a warning system to warn the traffic participant if the determination operation indicated that he must be warned of the risk.
The invention also relates to a parking lot equipped with such a warning system.
According to another development, the invention relates to a computer program with a program code for the implementation of the method as described above when the program is applied by a computer.
The invention is based on the solution of the above problem using the surveillance system with which the car park is equipped. This means that the surveillance system is part of the parking lot. The surveillance system is thus part of the parking infrastructure.
Based on monitoring, it can be determined whether a traffic participant in the parking lot should be warned of a risk. The traffic participant will be notified if the determination operation (analysis operation) has shown that the participant must be warned of the risk. Otherwise, there is no warning.
This helps to avoid dangerous situations for the participant, i.e. to reduce the probability of dangerous situations for the participant. This in particular has the advantage of effectively improving the safety of participants.
As the traffic participant will only be warned if the determination operation has shown that he should be warned of a risk, it is advantageous to avoid sending an unnecessary alarm to the participant. Indeed, any risk existing in a car park is not automatically a risk for the participant. Insofar as, for example, the risk is located on the upper floor of the parking lot, when this is in the form of a parking building, then the traffic participants who are in the lower floor of the parking lot are not exposed to the risk existing in the high level of the car park. In such a case, warning globally of an existing risk on the upper floor could unnecessarily frighten participants who might panic, which in turn would result, for example, in a risk situation for the participants. There is thus the technical advantage of an effective concept to effectively warn at least the traffic participant who is in a parking lot.
A parking lot in the sense of the description is a parking space for vehicles.
The expression "at least one traffic participant" relates to one or more traffic participants. This means in particular that the plural form for the participant is synonymous with the singular form.
According to one development, the risk is a motor vehicle guided in automatic mode. This means in particular that a motor vehicle driven or guided in automatic mode is moving, that is to say driving in the parking lot. A motor vehicle guided or driven in automatic mode means a remote-controlled motor vehicle. A vehicle guided or driven in automatic mode designates, for example, a motor vehicle traveling in autonomous mode. A motor vehicle guided or driven in automatic mode also means that the vehicle is traveling without a human driver.
While a driver may be in the vehicle, the driver is not involved in the automatic operation of the vehicle. The motor vehicle driven or guided in automatic mode is, for example, a vehicle without driver or with a passenger. This means, for example, that no one is in the vehicle driving in automatic mode.
According to one embodiment, the warning concerning the provision of a maneuver indication indicates how the participant should behave in order to reduce the risk to which he is exposed.
This in particular has the advantage of effectively reducing the risk to which a participant is exposed.
An indication of a maneuver consists, for example, in indicating that the participant must stop.
An indication of maneuver includes, for example, an indication giving the direction in which the participant must move.
According to one embodiment, the determination consists in predicting the movement of the participant and in determining whether the planned movement can collide with the risk zone, and the participant is warned if the forecast movement collides with the risk zone.
This therefore results in the advantage that the operation of determining whether to warn the participant of the risk in the car park will be carried out effectively. Indeed, on the basis of the forecast of the movement of the participant it is possible to assess at least with a certain probability if the participant moves towards the risk zone. In this case, it is planned to warn the participant of the risk.
Insofar as, for example, the participant moves away from the risk, which is determined with anticipation, we refrain from warning the participant of the risk.
A risk zone characterizes in particular the zone around the risk in which the participant should not enter for security reasons. A risk zone is thus distinguished in particular by a safety interval in relation to the risk. If the participant in the traffic approaches the risk according to the forecast movement, that is to say if the participant arrives in the safety zone, he is warned.
According to a development, the position of the participant is determined on the basis of obtaining the position of the participant. This results in particular in the advantage of being able to determine effectively whether it is necessary to warn the participant of a risk in the car park.
The participant's position is determined, for example, using the monitoring system.
According to one characteristic, it is planned to determine the position of the participant who uses a mobile terminal that he is carrying on him. The determination of the position of a mobile terminal is done, for example, using the following techniques: GPS, WLAN, Bluetooth, mobile phone, known per se so that it is not necessary to explain these different techniques. It is, for example, planned to receive the position data from the mobile telephone by a wireless communication network which the participant carries with him, the position data then being that of the mobile terminal.
The position of the mobile terminal is determined, for example, by using the position data received, this data being sent by the mobile terminal via a wireless communication network. Thus, the position of the mobile terminal is known, which makes it possible to determine the position of the participant.
According to another development, if the risk is a motor vehicle driven or guided in automatic mode, the position of the vehicle is determined on the basis of the supplied position of the vehicle. This notably results in the advantage of being able to effectively warn the participant of a risk in the car park. The position of the motor vehicle is determined, for example, using the monitoring system.
The position of the motor vehicle is determined, for example, using the position data received, this data being transmitted by the motor vehicle via a wireless communication network. This also means, for example, that the motor vehicle determines its position itself and sends this position as position data via a wireless communication network.
According to one embodiment, if the risk is a motor vehicle driven or guided in automatic mode, the determination operation consists in predicting the movement of the motor vehicle and in analyzing whether the forecast movement collides with the participant and the latter will be notified if the forecast movement actually collides with the participant.
This results, for example, in the technical advantage of being able to efficiently carry out the determination operation to know whether it is necessary to warn the traffic participant of an existing risk in the car park.
Based on the forecast, we know the probability with which the mobile vehicle may or may not collide with the participant.
Insofar as, according to the forecast, the motor vehicle moves away from the participant, we refrain from warning the participant.
According to one development, if the risk is a motor vehicle with driving or guidance in automatic mode, the traffic mission that the motor vehicle performs at this instant is determined and it is determined whether it is necessary to warn the participant based on the mission of driving the motor vehicle at this time.
This notably results in the advantage of being able to efficiently carry out the determination operation in order to know whether to notify the participant.
Depending on the driving mission, it can be determined whether the risk caused by the motor vehicle is high or low. Thus, a motor vehicle that is being automatically stored in a location, no longer represents a risk for a participant once it is stored. The risk associated with this motor vehicle is thus very limited in time, which is done automatically, in particular by comparison with a vehicle which automatically emerges from a location at this instant and is then driven in automatic mode in the parking lot. .
According to one development, the warning consists in sending a message via a wireless communication network to the mobile terminal that the participant carries with him. This results, for example, in the advantage of being able to effectively warn the participant.
A message within the meaning of this description includes in particular a risk warning and / or an indication of maneuver indicating how the participant should behave. A mobile terminal within the meaning of the present description is, for example a mobile telephone.
A wireless communication network within the meaning of the present description is, for example, a WLAN communication network and / or a mobile telephone communication network, for example, an LTE communication network and / or a GSM communication network.
According to one embodiment, if the traffic participant is a motor vehicle, the warning consists in sending a message via a wireless communication network to the main control unit of this motor vehicle. This solution has the advantage of being able to effectively warn the motor vehicle.
The message contains in particular a warning of the risk and / or an indication of maneuver indicating to the participant how he should behave to reduce his risk.
A participant in traffic within the meaning of this description is, for example: a person, a cyclist, a motor vehicle, a vehicle driver, a pedestrian.
According to one development, the warning operation consists of warning by means of a display installation fitted to the car park, which has the advantage of being able to warn the participant effectively visually.
According to one development, several display installations are provided which are, for example, identical or different in appearance.
The display installation includes, for example, a flashing light, a screen and / or a symbol display.
The display installation is, for example, in the normal state if the installation does not have to warn of a risk, and displays, for example, an advertisement. Such a display installation will be used relatively little, that is to say only to warn a participant of the existence of a risk.
According to one embodiment, the warning operation consists in providing, visually, a real image of the risk and / or an abstract image of the risk. This has the advantage of being able to visually warn the traffic participant effectively.
The visual provision of the real image of the risk or its abstract image is done, for example, using one or more display facilities located in the car park. According to one embodiment, one or more display installations are provided in the parking lot.
According to another embodiment, the warning operation consists in visually providing a digital map of an area or of the entire car park where the risk and the party are, the visual map displaying the indication of the risk and the participant.
This results in the advantage that the participant will be notified effectively. In particular, we can thus effectively provide the participant with information indicating where the risk is and where he is himself in relation to the risk in the car park.
The visual supply of the digital card is, for example, made using a display installation or several display installations located in the car park.
According to one embodiment, in addition to the risk and the participant, the digital card also includes an indication relating to the direction of movement of the risk or of the participant.
This has the advantage of being able to effectively notify the participant.
It is, for example, planned to display on the digital map an indication of maneuver intended for the participant. The digital card includes, for example, a direction indication for the participant, indicating which direction he should move to reduce the risk.
According to another embodiment, the warning operation consists in providing a real image according to the participant's viewing angle, which has the advantage of effectively warning the participant.
The provision of a real image according to the participant's viewing angle is done, for example, using one or more display installations located in the parking lot. According to one embodiment, the system comprises one or more display installations.
According to one embodiment, the warning system comprises one or more display installations.
According to one embodiment, the warning system comprises one or more signal generators. A signal generator is, for example, an optical signal generator, an acoustic signal generator or a haptic signal generator. In the case of several signal generators, these are identical or, for example, different.
According to one embodiment, the monitoring system includes one or more surrounding field sensors. In the case of several surrounding field sensors, these are, for example, identical or different.
A surrounding field sensor is, for example, one of the following sensors: radar sensor, ultrasonic sensor, video sensor, in particular video sensor with video camera, laser sensor, lidar sensor, magnetic sensor, light barrier sensor, pressure, for example piezoelectric pressure sensor.
A surrounding field sensor is, for example, installed on a piece of infrastructure in the car park. The element of infrastructure is, a partition, a wall, a column, the floor or the ceiling or a door or an arch.
The pressure sensor is either installed on the ground or buried in the ground. A pressure sensor is, for example, installed in a tube placed on the ground of the car park or buried in the ground of the car park.
The car park floor is, for example, part of the traffic area in the car park.
According to one embodiment, the surrounding field sensor (s) are spatially distributed in the parking lot.
According to one embodiment, the warning system for at least one participant who is in the parking lot performs the method of warning a participant in the parking lot equipped with a monitoring system. According to one embodiment, the method according to the invention is applied by the system according to the invention.
The technical functions of the system follow analogously from the corresponding technical functions of the process and vice versa.
This means in particular that the characteristics of the process apply analogously to the characteristics of the system and vice versa.

The same characteristics of the drawings have the same references for their description.
Description of embodiments of the invention
Figure 1 shows a flowchart of a method of warning at least one traffic participant in a parking lot equipped with a surveillance system.
The process includes the following steps:
- monitor 101 the parking lot with the surveillance system,
- determine 103 if the participant in traffic 415, 421 must be warned of a risk in the parking lot, based on surveillance, and
- warn 105 the traffic participant 415, 421 if the determination operation has shown that the traffic participant 415, 421 must be warned of a risk.
Figure 2 shows a warning system 201 of a traffic participant in a parking lot.
System 201 includes:
- a surveillance system 203 for monitoring the parking lot,
- a treatment installation 205 to determine whether the participant 415, 421 must be warned of an existing risk in the car park based on monitoring, and
- a warning system 207 to warn the participant in traffic 415, 421 if the determination operation has indicated that it is necessary to warn the participant 415, 421 of the risk.
The processing installation 205 comprises one or more processors.
FIG. 3 shows a first parking lot 301. The parking lot 301 is equipped with the system 201 of FIG. 2.
Figure 4 shows a second car park 401. The car park 401 has several locations 403 for vehicles.
The locations 403 are oriented transversely to a first circulation corridor 405. A second circulation corridor 407 is perpendicular to the first circulation corridor 405.
Car park 401 is equipped with several video cameras 411. A video camera 411 is, for example, installed on the wall 409 between two parking spaces 403. Video cameras 411, for example, capture and monitor the first traffic corridor 405.
The video data corresponding to the monitoring is supplied to a processing installation 413. This processing installation 413, based on the video data, determines whether a traffic participant is in the parking lot 401 and whether he must be notified of 'a risk.
This risk is, for example, a motor vehicle 423 traveling in automatic mode and which, according to the orientation of the sheet of the drawing, this vehicle travels in a first traffic corridor 405 going from left to right. A person 415 is in the parking lot 401. This person 415 wants to go through the door 417 to arrive on the traffic corridor 405. But, as the vehicle 423 moves from left to right as schematically indicated by arrow 425 and is located upstream of door 417, vehicle 423 constitutes a risk for person 415.
In this case, the person 415 will be notified of the existence of the vehicle 423. A communication interface 419 sends, for example, a message by a wireless communication network so that this message is received by the mobile terminal that the person 415 carries on it. It is, for example, expected that the mobile terminal will issue an alarm on receipt of such a message; the mobile terminal can, for example, vibrate. This wireless communication on the side of the communication interface 419 is symbolically represented by tracings in an arc of circles bearing the references 427.
A vehicle 421 travels in the second corridor 407 in the direction of the first circulation corridor 405. The direction of circulation of this vehicle 421 is also characterized by an arrow bearing the reference 425.
This other vehicle 421 is also a participant in the traffic which is in the parking lot 401 and which it is necessary to warn of the presence of the vehicle 423. It is notably planned to send to the main control unit which is notably designated by the name of the main unit of the motor vehicle 421, a message passing through the wireless communication network.
Figure 5 shows a third parking lot 501.
The third parking lot 501 also includes several video cameras 411 monitoring the traffic corridors 405, 407. The video data corresponding to the monitoring is also supplied to the processing installation 413.
Parking 501 has two display facilities 503, 505 distributed geographically in parking 501.
The processing installation 413 communicates, for example, by a wired connection and / or a wireless connection with the display installations 503, 505. The wireless communication is similar to that of FIG. 4; it is schematized by lines in an arc of a circle bearing the references 427.
Similarly to FIG. 4, a motor vehicle 423 with automatic driving travels on taxiway 405 from left to right according to the orientation of the sheet of the drawing. The other vehicle 421 traveling up and down on the second taxiway 407 towards the first taxiway 405 is warned of this risk. This is done according to this embodiment, by controlling the display installations 503, 505 to visually display the warning. Display installations 503, 505 give, for example, the text Stop.
The display installations 503, 505 can, for example, in a normal case, that is to say display an advertisement when they do not have to warn of the presence of a vehicle 423.
The display installations 503, 505 are, for example, flashing lights, image screens or symbol displays. Display units 503, 505 can also display the attention text as a warning signal.
A warning within the meaning of the invention includes, for example, a text. The text includes, for example, the fact that a vehicle guided in automatic mode arrives in a certain direction, for example, from left to right.
A warning within the meaning of the description includes, for example, an audio signal.
A warning within the meaning of the description includes, for example, a vibration.
A warning within the meaning of the description includes, for example, the display of a symbol and / or an image. The symbol is, for example, a symbol representing a vehicle, a call sign, an arrow or a stop sign.
To warn, real images of the situation and / or processed images of the situation are used. For example, it is planned to represent a map of the parking lot from an aerial perspective, that is to say from above and in the map the position and the direction of movement of the various objects in the parking lot are indicated. These objects include the participant and the location of the risk.
It is, for example, planned to display the images according to the participant's viewing angle.
According to one embodiment, the system according to the invention manages the parking lot. The parking management system controls, for example, the circulation of motor vehicles driven in automatic mode in the parking lot. The parking management system controls, for example, a motor vehicle by remote control. The parking management system transmits the destination position to the vehicle, which then travels in autonomous mode to the destination position.
The invention is based in particular and inter alia on the idea that it is necessary to warn of the risk the participants in the traffic which is 3061983 wind in the parking lot and in particular to warn them of motor vehicles circulating in automatic mode in the parking lot. A motor vehicle traveling in automatic mode is, for example, an AVP vehicle. The abbreviation AVP refers to automatic valet parking.
The basic idea is based in particular on the fact that vehicles driving in automatic mode are monitored by the monitoring system and in addition, traffic participants are monitored using the monitoring system. This means that the parking lot is monitored using the monitoring system. Based on this monitoring, we analyze whether it is necessary to warn traffic participants of the presence of a motor vehicle driven in automatic mode. Correspondingly, a traffic participant is warned with reference to the situation, that is to say that he is informed of the risk.
The warning or information consists, for example, of indicating that vehicles driving in automatic mode are currently in circulation in the parking lot. This offers, for example, the technical advantage of effectively informing participants of this situation.
A pedestrian is, for example, warned of the existence of a motor vehicle traveling in automatic mode and which is located directly upstream of the door through which passengers can cross a lane traveled by the vehicle.
In particular, participants are warned of the presence of a motor vehicle driven in automatic mode and which, at this instant, emerges from a parking space or passes, for example, behind the next corner which is also outside the range of vision of the traffic participant.
Warnings include, in particular, maneuvering instructions for the traffic participant.
The use of surveillance is particularly related to the situation and takes into account, for example, the position of the traffic participant (s) and / or the direction of movement forecast of the traffic participant (s) and / or d '' a position of the vehicle driven in autonomous mode and / or of the instant driving mission of the guided vehicle in automatic mode.
It is, for example, intended that the warning, that is to say the risk information is sent directly to the traffic participant. This direct transmission comprises, for example, a transmitter of a corresponding message to a mobile terminal via a wireless communication network, the mobile terminal being that of the participant in the traffic.
If the traffic participant is another motor vehicle, the corresponding message is sent to the vehicle management unit.
A mobile terminal within the meaning of the description is, for example, a mobile phone, a tablet, a connected watch, a pair of connected glasses and also clothing elements or connected implants.
Communication takes place in particular by a wireless link, for example, by WLAN and / or GSM.
The respective warnings or indications are, for example, presented in one or more of the following ways:
- in the form of a text, for example "AVP comes from the left",
- for example, as an audio signal,
- for example, as a vibration,
- for example as a symbol or as an image,
- for example as a symbol representing a vehicle, as a call sign, as a lightning bolt or as a stop sign,
- for example, as a real picture of the situation and / or a treated picture of the situation,
- for example, in the form of a map with top view and represented position and indications of the direction of the risk and of the sum of the images of the traffic participant according to the angle of view of the traffic participant.
