Prior art
Some logistics centers for processing packages include an automated sorting conveyor which can be controlled by a control / command unit to move packages in series along sorting outlets.
The control / command unit then directs each package to a certain sorting outlet chosen as a function of sorting information associated with the package which has been detected upstream in the conveyor.

In particular, the invention relates to package processing equipment between loading points and drop-off points for said packages in a logistics center, said equipment comprising sorting receptacles placed at said loading points into which said packages are dumped in bulk. as a function of a sorting indication associated with said loading points, characterized in that said equipment further comprises trolleys each designed to carry a removable receptacle and at least one shuttle robot designed to dock one of said trolleys and move it automatically, and in that said equipment further comprises a control / command unit designed to automatically control remotely according to a sorting plan the movement of said robot shuttle so as to place carts with empty receptacles at said loading points in which the packages are dumped in bulk and place said carts with a receptacle loaded with packages at a point where the receptacle loaded in packages is replaced by an empty receptacle.
The idea underlying the invention is therefore to automate the processing of packages directly from a loading point to a drop-off point.

Invention, the tedious tasks of the operator transferring packages from a receptacle to a bag and moving the bags to the drop-off points are eliminated.
This automation also reduces the risk of parcel routing error to a wrong drop-off point.
The equipment according to the invention can advantageously have receptacles in the form of bags. The trolleys according to the invention then have a horizontal plate on casters and a bag holder overhanging the plate of the trolley to suspend the open bag on top.
The invention also extends to a logistics center comprising equipment according to the invention for routing packages between loading points and drop-off points in which said loading points are sorting outlets of a sorting conveyor and in which said drop-off points are platforms for grouping packages or packaging platforms for transport.

Description of the embodiments
In Figure 1, there is illustrated very schematically

as well as equipment according to the invention for routing the packages.
Only a small number of sorting outlets SI, S2, S3, S4 are represented here out of the tens or even hundreds of sorting outlets that can be served by the conveyor 3.
The sorting conveyor 3 is controlled by a control / command unit 4 adapted to automatically recognize a sorting indication of a parcel 2, such as for example a postal destination address within the framework of a postal sorting logistics center. The unit 4 then controls the conveyor 3 to move the parcel 2 in the conveying direction indicated by the arrow Fl towards the sorting outlet SI, S2, S3, S4 associated with the sorting indication on the basis of a plan sorting device stored in memory of unit 4.

The equipment for transporting the packages 2 according to the invention comprises carriages 6, of the type for example shown in FIG. 2, adapted to come to be positioned under the sorting outlets SI, S2, S3, S4, etc., at the level inclined ramps 5 in order to receive bulk packages 2 directly in receptacles 7.
Each sorting outlet is therefore here considered as a loading point for packages 2 at which a carriage 6 can be positioned.
By receptacle 7 is meant any type of container capable of storing heterogeneous packages 2 and which can be mounted on a carriage 6, here for example a bag 7 shown in FIG. 3.
As shown in Figures 2 and 3, the carriage 6 according to the invention comprises a plate 8 mounted on rollers 9 from which extends a vertical wall

An annular bag holder 11 also projects substantially perpendicularly from the wall 10 to suspend a bag 7 above the tray 8, the bag being open on the top, in the manner of a wall support for a trash bag. Side walls 12, visible only in FIG. 2, are adjacent to the vertical wall 10 and make it possible to maintain the bag 7 loaded with packages in the space defined on the ground by the plate 8.
The equipment also includes autonomous shuttle robots 13, here for example mounted on motorized rollers 14, which are able to move on the traffic lanes PA1, PA2, PA3, visible in FIG. 1, usually used by Operators in the logistics center.
Each shuttle robot 13 is therefore remotely controlled by the control / command unit 4 according to a routing plan to circulate on the traffic paths PA1, PA2, PA3 respectively from a sorting outlet SI, S2, S3 to a drop-off point PT1, PT2, PT3 and according to a return plan from the drop-off point to the loading point.
The traffic routes here are the routes normally used by sorting operators.
Each shuttle robot 13 is also designed to dock with a carriage 6, as visible in FIG. 3, so as to drive it in movement according to the routing and return plans described above and also to dissociate itself from this one so as to leave it there.
Each shuttle robot 13 is also remotely controlled by the control / command unit 4 to be moved on PR / PA traffic paths defined between a storage position PR in which the shuttle robot is stopped in a parking lot 15 from the logistics center 1 to a docking position PA in which it is docked with a carriage 6. As shown in FIG. 1, a shuttle robot 13 is here controlled by the unit 4 to move from the storage position PR in parking lot 15 to a docking position PA shown in dotted lines in loading point S4.
Parking 15 is also used for the storage of empty carts 6. The unit 4 is also designed to control the shuttle robots to move empty carriages from the parking lot 15 to loading points requiring the presence of a trolley to receive bulk packages.
The equipment according to the invention further comprises a detector 16 for loading packages into bags 7. This detector is here arranged on the sorting conveyor 3 but could just as easily be placed on the trolley or even be installed at the level of the sorting outputs SI, S2, S3, S4. The information from the detector 16 is recovered by the control / command unit 4 which automatically remotely controls the movement of the shuttle robot 13 from a sorting outputs SI, S2, S3, S4 to a drop-off point
