    RECHARGEABLE DEVICE FOR PACKAGING A COSMETIC PRODUCT
    The present invention relates to a rechargeable device for packaging a cosmetic product and to a removable container intended to be used in such a device.
    In the cosmetic field, in particular, users are particularly sensitive to the aesthetics of packaging devices. However, the cost of cosmetic packaging devices is high and increases the price of cosmetics sold commercially in this form.
    An idea has emerged consisting in providing an aesthetic packaging device, including a separate container, which is less aesthetic, but whose packaging is less expensive. Preferably, the container is removable so as to be able to reload the packaging device, by replacing the removable container.
    Application FR-A-2 995 199 describes, for example, a jar for cosmetic product comprising a shell forming a neck delimiting an upper edge of the shell, and an insert containing the cosmetic product received in the shell. A cover can be screwed onto a thread made on the outside surface of the neck. However, in this document, the insert is not intended to be replaced. Consequently, the main drawback of this jar is that it is not refillable.
    To make such an insert removable, FR-A-2 745 276 suggests forming a small hole between the bottom of the shell and the housing receiving the insert, so as to be able to pass a fine object through it and push the insert from the below.
    However, depending on the material in which the insert is made, the operation to push the insert from below, can simply lead to deformation of the insert, with the risk of splashes of cosmetic product. In addition, it is necessary to use a tool that can be inserted into the hole in the bottom of the shell.
    Furthermore, application TWM365672 describes a pot comprising a shell, with a housing with a non-circular section, receiving a refill of cosmetic product with a section complementary to the housing. A ring is screwed onto the shell, above the refill, leaving a threaded edge of the refill protruding from the ring. A cover is screwed onto this threaded edge.
    The pot as described in TWM365672 is however not very aesthetic, a clearance existing between the ring and the threaded edge of the refill, to allow the passage of this threaded edge in the opening formed by the ring. In addition, the fixing of the cover to the threaded edge of the refill can adversely affect the mechanical strength of this refill, in particular depending on the material in which this refill is made. Finally, the realization of a threaded edge on the refill induces a high manufacturing cost of the refill.
    An object of the invention is to provide a device for packaging a cosmetic product, which is rechargeable and which does not have at least some of the above-mentioned drawbacks.
    To this end, the invention provides a rechargeable device for packaging a cosmetic product comprising:
    a removable container of cosmetic product, the removable container having a bottom, an orifice and a side wall between the bottom and the orifice, a covering shell defining a housing, the housing opening out at an outlet in the shell d '' covering, the covering shell forming an edge around the outlet, a ring for fixing the removable container to the covering shell, the ring forming a through opening, in which:
    the side wall of the removable container forms a fixing portion such that the removable container is fixed to the ring by tightening the fixing portion of the removable container, and the ring is mounted on the edge, around the outlet in the covering shell , so that the removable container is at least partially received in the housing in the covering shell.
    Thus, advantageously, the removable container is fixed to the fixing ring, the latter itself being fixed to the shell.
    The fixing of the removable container by tightening in the ring does not require a particularly high mechanical resistance of the removable container. The ring can also be adapted according to the material from which the removable container is made.
    The removable container can be devoid of substantially any fixing relief, in particular of threading or elastic casing edge, which makes the geometry of the removable container simpler and therefore its lower manufacturing price.
    The aesthetics of the device can be particularly taken care of. In particular, the removable container being mounted tightly in the fixing ring, there may be no play between this removable container and the ring.
    According to preferred embodiments, the rechargeable packaging device according to the invention comprises one or more of the following characteristics, taken alone or in combination:
    the ring is fixed to the covering shell by fitting, gluing or welding;
    the removable container has a rim around the orifice and the ring has a complementary recess around the through opening, the rim being partially or completely received in the recess when the removable container is fixed to the ring;
    the side wall of the removable container has a flared shape from the bottom towards the orifice, the side wall preferably being of hemiellipsoidal shape, more preferably of hemispherical shape;
    the bottom of the removable container is shaped to cause an imbalance of the removable container when the bottom of the removable container is placed on a flat support, the bottom being for example formed by a projecting relief, the bottom of the removable container being preferably still formed by a peak of the raised relief;
    the bottom is formed by one face of a projecting relief, preferably planar, the center of said face being such that the straight line joining said center with the center of gravity of the removable container forms a non-flat angle with the direction of the weight of said container removable, when the bottom thereof is placed on a flat support;
    the fixing portion comprises a relief on the surface of the side wall, preferably over the entire perimeter of the removable container; the covering shell at a bottom, the bottom preferably being set back with respect to a bearing zone of the covering shell on a flat support; the covering shell has a through hole, opening onto the bottom of the covering shell, on the one hand, and into the receptacle for receiving the removable container, on the other hand, the diameter of the through hole is preferably greater or equal to 10 mm, or even greater than or equal to 15 mm; the fixing ring of the removable container has at least one tab, preferably at least three tabs, capable of tightening the fixing portion of the side wall of the removable container;
    the ring has a substantially U-shaped cross section, covering the edge of the covering shell;
    the U-shaped cross section of the ring has an external lateral branch, an internal lateral branch and a core connecting the external lateral branch and the internal lateral branch, the external lateral branch forming at one end a protruding relief adapted to be fitted elastically in a complementary groove made in the covering shell; and / or • the core forming a step defining the complementary recess at the edge of the removable container; and / or • the internal lateral branch forming the at least one tab capable of tightening the fixing portion of the removable container.
    The packaging device comprises a cover capable of closing the outlet of the housing in the covering shell;
    the cover is suitable for being fixed on the covering shell, preferably on a side wall of the covering shell, in particular by screwing, elastic fitting, tightening or by means of a bayonet fixing;
    the cover has a through cavity, a sleeve being received in the open cavity, the sleeve forming a screw pitch intended to cooperate with a complementary screw pitch on the side wall of the covering shell;
    the packaging device comprises a seal of section substantially complementary to the section of the orifice of the removable container, the seal being preferably fixed on the cover or the socket, if applicable, so as to close off the orifice when the cover is fixed to the covering shell;
    the packaging device comprises a seal attached to the cover or to the sleeve, if necessary, the seal extending substantially along the contour of the orifice of the removable container, so that the seal sealing is received in the opening of the removable container when the cover is fixed to the covering shell, or the seal extending around the opening of the removable container;
    the cover is in one of wood, a ceramic material, metal, urea formaldehyde, porcelain, a rigid foam for example polyurethane type, natural stone, synthetic stone, powder of stone mixed with a binder, transformed by injection, leather, glass, crystal, plastic, in particular frosted and / or varnished and / or painted and / or painted and / or metallized and / or galvanized and / or provided with visual effects, natural fabric, or synthetic fabric;

    According to another aspect, the invention relates to a removable container of cosmetic product for a refillable packaging device as described above in all of its combinations, the removable container having a bottom, an orifice and a side wall between the bottom and the orifice, in which the side wall of the removable container forms an attachment portion such that the removable container is adapted to be fixed to the ring of the packaging device by tightening the attachment portion of the removable container.
    Preferably, the removable container comprises cosmetic product, preferably in the form of a cream, paste, powder, gel, liquid or solid in one piece.
    Preferably, the removable container comprises a cover sealing the orifice.
    Also preferably, the removable container is in one of aluminum, an aluminum alloy, a steel, a glass, a plastic, a ceramic, a porcelain, a cardboard, in particular a varnished cardboard, or a multilayer cardboard complexed with other materials such as metal sheets or plastic sheets.

    In the following description, identical elements or identical functions bear the same reference sign. For the sake of brevity in this description, these elements are not described in detail in each example. On the contrary, only the differences between the embodiments are described in detail.
    Figures 1 to 3 illustrate a first example of a rechargeable device for packaging a cosmetic product 10 (hereinafter packaging device 10). This packaging device 10 essentially comprises a removable container of cosmetic product 12, a covering shell 14 receiving the removable container of cosmetic product 12, a ring 16 for fixing the removable container 12 on the covering shell 14 and a cover 18 closing the covering shell 14.
    More specifically, the covering shell 14 defines a housing 20 intended to receive at least partially the removable container of cosmetic product 12. The housing 20 opens at an outlet 22 in the covering shell 14. The shell d 'covering 14 also forms an edge 24 around the outlet 22. The covering shell 14 is here shaped to allow the covering shell 14 to be placed in equilibrium on a flat support. As illustrated, the covering shell 14 rests on such a planar support by a support area 26 surrounding a bottom 28, set back with respect to the support area 26. As a variant, the bottom 28 is not not set back from the support area 26 but, on the contrary, is part of this support area 26. The support area 26 is for example of closed contour, in particular of circular or elliptical contour, or of any other form. The bottom 28 of the covering shell 14 has a through hole 30, opening on the one hand on the bottom 28, outside the covering shell 14, and, on the other hand, in the housing 20. The hole 30 advantageously allows the passage of a finger. To do this, the hole 30 can have a diameter of at least 1 cm. According to an embodiment not shown, the bottom 28, plan, of the covering shell 14 is covered at least partially by a label, the label possibly or not covering the hole 30. The label can for example carry any information relating to the brand of the product and / or its composition and / or its mode of application and / or its possible expiry date.
    Between the support zone 26 and the edge 24 of the outlet 22 extends the side wall 32 of the covering shell 14. This side wall 32 can have any shape, in particular any shape aimed at ensuring the aesthetics of the device. packaging 10. However, the side wall 32 of the covering shell 14 has here, in the vicinity of the edge 24, a screw pitch 34 intended to allow the fixing of the cover 18 of the packaging device 10. Above the pitch of screw 34, the side wall 28 also forms, as illustrated, a groove 36.
    The covering shell 14 is preferably translucent, even transparent. This gives the covering shell 14 and the packaging device 10 an aesthetic effect appreciated by users.
    The covering shell 14 can in particular be made from one of: glass, metal, ceramics, porcelain, crystal and plastic, in particular polymethylmethacrylate, polystyrene, polycarbonate, polyethylene terephthalate, ionomer resin such as the ethylene vinyl copolymer known under the trade name of Surlyn®, natural stone, synthetic stone, ceramic, porcelain, wood and urea formaldehyde.
    Furthermore, the removable container 12 has a bottom 38, an orifice 40 and a side wall 42 between the bottom 38 and the orifice 40. The side wall 42 here has a substantially hemispherical shape, so that the bottom 38 is substantially punctual. . Because the bottom 38 of the removable container 12 is substantially punctual, it is not possible to place the bottom 38 of the removable container 12 on a flat support, so that the removable container 12 remains in stable equilibrium. This makes it more difficult to use the removable container 12 when the latter is not mounted in the covering shell 14. This is particularly true in the case where the cosmetic product contained in the removable container is in the form of powder, liquid, cream, which tend to flow out of the removable container 12 when the latter is not held vertically.
    Of course, the side wall of the removable container 12 can have other shapes than that illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2. However, the side wall 42 of the removable container 12 preferably has a flared shape from the bottom 38 towards the orifice 40, this in order to facilitate access by the user to the entire cosmetic product contained in the removable container 12.
    The side wall 42 of the removable container 12 forms a fixing portion 44 intended to cooperate with the fixing ring 16 to ensure the tightening of the removable container 12 with the fixing ring 16. Here, the fixing portion 44 takes the form of a rib, a boss or a bead on the surface of the side wall 42. This boss 44 here extends over the entire perimeter of the removable container to facilitate the fixing of the removable container 12 on the fixing ring 16.
    The removable container 12 also has, as illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 3, a flange 46 around the orifice 40.
    The removable container 12 can in particular be made of aluminum, aluminum alloy, steel, glass, plastic, ceramic, porcelain, cardboard, in particular varnished cardboard or multilayer cardboard complexed with other materials such as metal sheets or plastic sheets. Depending on the materials used, the production of the removable container is more or less easy and therefore expensive. Nobler materials such as porcelain, ceramic or glass can be chosen to ensure an aesthetic and quality effect appreciated and sought after by users. The use of these materials can also contribute to the aesthetic effect of the packaging device 10, in particular when the covering shell 14 is translucent or transparent.
    The removable container 12 can in particular comprise cosmetic product in the form of a cream, paste, powder, gel, liquid or solid in one piece.
    Furthermore, the fixing ring 16 forms a through opening 48, intended to insert therein the removable container 12, preferably by its bottom 28.
    Here, the fixing ring 16 has a U-shaped profile, with, in section, an external lateral branch 50, an internal lateral branch 52, and a core 54 connecting the external lateral branch 50 to the internal lateral branch 52. Such as illustrated in FIG. 3, the U-shaped profile of the ring 16 allows it to cover the edge 24 of the covering shell 14 surrounding the opening 22 of the housing 20. Furthermore, the external lateral branch 50 has, at its free end , a bead 56 oriented towards the inside of the fixing ring 16. This bead 56 can be received in the groove 36 made on the side wall of the covering shell to allow mounting by elastic fitting of the fixing ring 16 on the covering shell 14.
    The core 54 has a step 58, so as to form a recess 60 on its internal part 54a, around the through opening 48. This internal recess 58 makes it possible to receive the rim 46 of the removable container 12, without the latter does not project relative to the core 54, in particular relative to its external part 54b, with the possible exception of a rib 62 on the rim 46 of the removable container 12.
    The internal lateral branch 52 is here formed by a tongue 64 produced in the internal lateral wall 66 of the fixing ring 16. The tongue 64 also has a bead 67, located at its free end and oriented towards the bead 44 on the side wall 42 of the removable container 12. The fixing ring 16 advantageously comprises at least one, preferably at least three, here four, such tabs to facilitate the tight mounting of the removable container 12 in the fixing ring 16. The internal side wall 66 of the fixing ring and / or the tongues 64 can extend in the direction of the removable container 12, from the core 54 of the profile of the ring 16. In other words, seen in section as in FIG. 3, the core 54 and the internal side wall 66 of the fixing ring 16 or the tongues 64 can form an obtuse angle.
    The ring may in particular be made of one of the following materials: plastic, in particular thermoplastic, copolyester, polyamide, polyolefin, for example polypropylene, polyacetal, or metal, in particular stainless steel or aluminum.
    Finally, the cover 18 is able to close the outlet 22 of the housing 20 in the covering shell 14. Here, the cover 18 can be fixed on the covering shell 14, more precisely on the side wall 32 of the shell d 'covering 14 which is provided with a thread 34. The cover 18 here has an external wall 68 which can take any desired shape, in particular in order to obtain an aesthetic effect of the packaging device 10. The cover 18 defines a cavity opening 70. The opening cavity receives a socket 72, here of circular section, or a screw insert. The sleeve 72 can be fixed in the through cavity 70 by any suitable means, in particular by clamping, gluing, clipping or any other assembly means known to those skilled in the art to ensure a connection preventing rotation between the cover and the sleeve. . The socket 72 forms a thread 74 complementary to the thread 34 of the side wall 32 of the covering shell 14. The bottom 76 of the socket 72 here forms a recess, in which is received, preferably fixed, a seal 78. Alternatively, seal 78 is not received in this recess. The seal 78 has here a shape similar to the orifice 40 of the removable container 12, the seal 78 being of diameter greater than the diameter of the orifice 40 so as to be able to completely cover the orifice 40 of the removable container 12. Here, the seal 78 has a diameter substantially equal to the diameter of the rim 46 of the removable container 12.
    The cover 18 can be translucent, even transparent, or on the contrary opaque.
    The cover 18 is for example made from one of wood, a ceramic material, metal, urea formaldehyde, porcelain, a rigid foam, for example of the polyurethane type, natural stone, synthetic stone, stone powder mixed with a binder, transformed by injection, leather, glass, crystal, plastic, in particular frosted and / or varnished and / or painted and / or painted and / or metallized and / or galvanized and / or provided with 'visual effects, natural fabric, or synthetic fabric, or any other material known for the production of a cover.
    The packaging device 10 can be sold as shown in Figures 1 to 3. Alternatively, the packaging device 10 is sold as a kit. In this case, the user fixes the removable container 12 in the fixing ring 16, by insertion by its bottom 28 in the through opening 48 in the ring 16, the removable container 12 being tightened in the fixing ring 16 by cooperation beads 67 on the tabs 64 with the bead 44 of the side wall 42 of the removable container 12. The tightening of the removable container 12 by means of the four tabs 64 provides a good compromise between effective tightening and ease of removal. More specifically, during assembly of the removable container 12, in a vertical downward movement, the bead 44 of the fixing portion comes into contact with the beads 67 of the fixing ring 16. By continuing to press, the tongues are forced 64 to move back radially, so as to leave the passage. Once the removable container 12 in place, the bead of the fixing portion 44 is placed under the beads 67, which are brought back into position by elastic return of the tabs 64. These beads 67 then prevent the removable container 12 from coming out of its housing without outside intervention.
    In this case, the fixing ring 16 is preferably already fixed on the covering shell 14. In particular, the ring 16 is fixed tightly on the covering shell, making disassembly of the ring 16 particularly difficult. In particular, the disassembly of the ring 16 may require the use of a tool.
    In the mounted position of the removable container 12 with the fixing ring 16, on the covering shell 14, the fixing ring 16 covers the edge 24 of the outlet 22 of the housing 20 in the covering shell 14. Furthermore, in this mounted position, the removable container 12 is received in the housing 20 in the covering shell 14.
    The removable container 12 can be opened before or after insertion into the housing 20 in the covering shell 14. This opening can consist of the removal of a cover, possibly provided with a seal, ensuring the sealing of the removable container before its opening. Advantageously, the cover cannot be replaced on the removable container 12 so that the latter cannot be kept, after opening, except in the packaging device 10. In fact, only the device packaging allows to close the removable container 12, open, by means of the cover 18.
    Finally, the cover 18, previously provided with its socket 72, is screwed onto the covering shell. This leads to the device of Figures 2 and 3, the neat aesthetics. In this position of the cover 18, the seal 78 is pinched between the cover 18, and more specifically, here, the bottom 76 of the sleeve 72, and the rib 62 formed on the rim 46 of the removable container 12. It is ensured as well as the cosmetic product contained in the removable container does not deteriorate on contact with air, in particular does not dry out, even after opening the removable container 12.
    Once the entire contents of the removable container 12 have been used, the user can remove the removable container 12 from the packaging device 10. Here, the user can pass a finger through the through hole 30 in the covering shell 14 to separate the removable container 12 from the fixing ring 16. By pushing on the bottom, the tongues 64 retract by force. The tabs 64 return to their place after the removable container has been removed 12. Preferably, when the removable container is removed, the fixing ring 16 remains fixed on the covering shell 14. The user can then replace the removable container 12 with a new removable container, before or after opening this new removable container. The diameter of the through hole 30 is preferably large enough so as not to need a tool to separate the removable container 12 from the ring 16. Thus, preferably, the diameter of the through hole 30 is greater than or equal to 10 mm, or even greater than or equal to 15 mm.
    FIG. 4 illustrates a variant of removable container 12. As in the case of the removable container 12 shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the removable container 12 of FIG. 4 is shaped so as not to be able to be placed flat on its bottom 38. This is achieved here because the bottom 18 is defined by a protruding stud 80 shape. Other shapes can be imagined that allow the same effect. The bottom of the removable container can even be flat. For example, the bottom is offset relative to the median axis X of the removable container 12. More specifically, the bottom 38 is shaped so that the axis joining the center of this bottom 38 and the center of gravity of the removable container 12 is not parallel to the direction of the weight of the removable container, when the bottom of the latter is placed on a flat support. Alternatively or additionally, the bottom 38, flat or otherwise, may be of non-symmetrical shape relative to the median axis of the container. As already mentioned, it is preferred that the removable container 12 cannot be placed flat on its bottom, because this forces users of the removable container 12 to use it in combination with the rest of the packaging device 10.
    The embodiment of Figure 5 differs from the embodiment of Figures 1 to 3 by the fact that the seal 78 does not have a shape similar to the orifice 40 of the removable container. On the contrary, here, the seal in the form of a ring, O-ring or not, or skirt which extends all around the orifice 40 of the removable container 12, when the cover 18 is fixed on the shell d 'covering 14. The seal 78 can then be pinched between the rib 62 on the rim 46 of the removable container 12 and the step 58 formed by the fixing ring 16.
    Alternatively, the seal has the shape of a skirt, that is to say of a thin cylindrical wall, belonging to the cover 18 or separate from the cover 18. The skirt is inserted in clamping inside the removable container 12 In this case, the external diameter of the skirt is preferably slightly greater than the internal diameter of the removable container 12.
    The invention is not limited to the single embodiments described above with reference to the figures, but is, on the contrary, susceptible of numerous variants accessible to those skilled in the art. In particular, the characteristics of the various embodiments described can be combined in embodiments not illustrated in the figures.
    In addition, for example, the side wall 42 of the removable container may be of substantially hemi-ellipsoidal shape or even of polyhedral shape.
