[0001] The present invention relates to a system for filling at least one tank of a motor vehicle, for example a tank of a motor vehicle, for example a tank of at least one tank of a motor vehicle, for example a storage tank of at least one tank of a motor vehicle, for example a tank of a motor vehicle. fuel and a urea tank for selective catalytic reduction. The invention also relates to a motor vehicle comprising such a system and a method of implementing such a system.
[0002] Conventionally, a filling system comprises a casing, at least one filling head, a cap and a movable flap. The housing is integral with the motor vehicle. The filling head is arranged in the housing and provided to receive the cap. In order to fill the reservoir, a user opens the shutter to discover the filling head and its cap, then unscrews the cap to release access to the filling head. The reservoir can then be filled, for example by introducing a device provided for this purpose in the filling head. Once the reservoir is filled, the user closes the filling head with its cap, then closes the cover to cover the filling head and its cap. When the cap is removed from the filling head, the user can keep it in his hand, in his pocket or put it on a support. Thus, there is a risk of loss of the cap. In addition, after filling the tank and before closing the shutter the user may forget to reposition the cap on the filling head. The object of the present invention is to provide an improved filling system, to overcome the above disadvantages.
[0003] For this purpose, the subject of the invention is a system for filling at least one tank of a motor vehicle, the filling system comprising: a casing secured to the motor vehicle; at least one filling head arranged in the housing; a removable cap adapted to close or disengage the filling head; and a movable flap adapted, when closed, to cover the filling head and the cap closing the filling head. The filling system is characterized in that the casing comprises a housing for receiving the cap in a configuration preventing the closure of the flap. Thus, the invention improves the safety of implementation of the filling system. The shutter can not be completely closed if the user forgets to close the filling head and leaves the cap in its housing. In the first place, the user easily and visually notices that the shutter is not closed. In addition, the filling system may be equipped with a safety device generating an alert when the closure of the shutter is incomplete. According to other advantageous features of the invention, taken separately or in combination: the filling system comprises a filling head of a fuel tank; and the filling head provided to be closed by the cap. The shutter, when closed, covers the two filling heads arranged in the housing. - The filling system comprises a removable cover adapted to cover or disengage the filling head of the fuel tank, the cover being preferably integrated in the flap. - The filling head intended to be closed by the cap is connected to a urea tank. - The housing defines a compartment, the cap closing the filling head is housed in the compartment and the cap positioned in the housing protrudes from the compartment. - The shutter has a portion forming a stop against the cap when closing the shutter while the cap is positioned in the housing. - The filling system comprises a safety device which is engaged when closing the shutter. 20 - The safety device comprises complementary safety elements which are distributed between the casing and the flap and which, when closing the shutter, cooperate when the housing does not have the cap and are prevented from cooperating when the housing comprises the cap. According to a preferred embodiment, the invention relates to a system for filling a fuel tank, this system also incorporating means for filling a second tank, for example a urea tank for a catalytic reduction system. selectively equipping the vehicle. In this case, the filling system comprises: a housing; a filling head of a fuel tank and a filling head of a urea tank, the heads being arranged in the housing and provided with closure means; and a movable flap adapted, when closed, to cover the filling heads. The closure means of the urea filling head include a removable cap. The casing comprises a housing for receiving this cap, in a configuration preventing the closure of the shutter. The invention also relates to a method of implementing a system 35 for filling at least one tank of a motor vehicle, the filling system comprising: a housing integral with the motor vehicle; at least one filling head arranged in the housing; a removable cap adapted to close or disengage the filling head; and a movable flap adapted, when closed, to cover the filling head and the cap closing the filling head. The method is characterized in that when the cap is positioned in a housing provided for this purpose in the housing, the closing of the flap is prevented, whereas when the cap closes the filling head, the closure of the flap is authorized so that the flap covers the filling head and the cap closing the filling head. The invention will be better understood on reading the description which follows, given solely by way of nonlimiting example and with reference to the appended drawings in which: FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a filling system according to according to the invention, fitted to a motor vehicle also according to the invention, the filling system comprising a casing provided with a housing for receiving a cap used to close a filler head of a reservoir; and Figure 2 is a view similar to Figure 1, showing the cap positioned in the housing. Figures 1 and 2 is partially shown a motor vehicle 1 according to the invention.
[0004] The vehicle 1 comprises a body 2 and at least one reservoir disposed in the body 2. In the example of FIGS. 1 and 2, the vehicle 1 comprises a fuel tank 3 and a urea tank 4 disposed in the body 2. For the purpose of simplification, the tanks 3 and 4 are schematically represented by dotted circles in FIGS. 1 and 2. The fuel tank 3 is designed to receive and store the fuel intended for the engine of the vehicle 1. The urea reservoir 4 is provided for receiving and storing the urea for the selective catalytic reduction system of the vehicle 1. The vehicle 1 also comprises a filling system 10 according to the invention, intended for filling the tanks 3 and 4. The filling 10 comprises a housing 20, a fuel filling head 30 of the tank 3 and a dust cap 50 provided to cover the head 30, a head 40 of urea filling of the reservoir. r 4 and a cap 60 provided for closing the head 40, a movable flap 70, a housing 80 for receiving the cap 60 and a safety device 90. The casing 20 is fixed to the body 2 of the vehicle 1. The casing 20 has a generally hollow shape and delimits a compartment 22 set back relative to the body 2 of the vehicle 1.
[0005] The heads 30 and 40 are arranged in the compartment 22 of the casing 20. The heads 30 and 40 can be molded and then assembled with the casing 20. The head 30 is connected to the fuel tank 3, while the head 40 is connected to the reservoir urea 4, as shown schematically by dotted lines in FIGS. 1 and 2. The head 30 has an orifice 32 for the passage of a device for filling the reservoir 3. Likewise, the head 40 has an orifice 42 for the passage of a device for filling the reservoir 4. The dust cover 50 forms a means of covering the head 30. The cover 50 is removable to selectively cover or disengage the head 30. Closing means of the 32, not visible in Figures 1 and 2, are integrated in the head 30. Preferably, these closure means open automatically upon introduction of the tank filling device 3 in the orifice 32 and close to utomatically when removing this device from the orifice 32, under the action of this device. The dust cover 50 and the closure means are complementary. The head 30 is called "without capless" ("capless" in English). Advantageously, the dust cover 50 can be integrated into the flap 70. Thus, the closure of the flap 70 covers the head 30 with the cover 50. The cap 60 forms a means for closing the head 40. The cap 60 is removable for selectively closing or opening the head 40. The cap 60 can be screwed onto the head 40. For this purpose, the head 40 and the cap 60 comprise a thread and a tapping complementary. The cap 60 may also be called a cap or lid. The flap 70 is articulated on the casing 20. The flap 70 is movable between an open position, shown in Figures 1 and 2, and a closed position. When the shutter 70 is open, a user can access the compartment 22, the heads 30 and 40, the cap 60 and the housing 80. The opening of the flap 70 spreads the cover 50 of the head 30, which allows to release the When the flap 70 is closed, this flap 70 covers the compartment 22, the heads 30 and 40, the cap 60 and the housing 80. The closure of the flap 70 brings the dust cover 50 onto the head 30, which covers the orifice 32. The flap 70 comprises an outer surface 72 which is flush with the outer surface of the body 2 of the vehicle 1 when the shutter 70 is closed. The flap 70 comprises an inner surface 74 which is opposite to the outer surface 72. At the surface 74, the flap 70 comprises a block 76 forming a stop against the cap 60 disposed in the housing 80, but not against the cap 60 disposed on the head 40. The block 76 is formed protruding from the surface 74. The flap 70 comprises an arm 78 articulated on the housing 20. The arm 78 is integral with the block 76 and the cover 50. The housing 80 is provided in the housing 20 with dimensions specifically adapted to receive the cap 60. Preferably, the housing 80 is as close as possible to the head 40, to facilitate the displacement of the cap 60 from the head 40 to the housing 80 and vice versa for the 'user. The cap 60 is positioned on the head 40 in FIG. 1 and in the housing 80 in FIG. 2. In the configuration of FIG. 2, the closure of the flap 70 is prevented by the presence of the cap 60 in the housing 80.
[0006] The safety device 90 is engaged when the shutter 70 is closed. When the cap 60 is positioned in the housing 80, the flap 70 can not be closed and the device 90 can not be engaged. In the example of Figures 1 and 2, the device 90 comprises an orifice 92 provided in the housing 20 and a pin 94 provided on the block 76 of the cover 70. When the flap 70 is closed, the pin 94 enters the orifice 92.
[0007] In other words, the device 90 comprises complementary security elements 92 and 94 which are distributed between the casing 20 and the flap 70 and which, when the flap 70 closes, cooperate when the housing 80 does not have the cap 60 and are prevented from cooperating when the housing 80 includes the cap 60. Advantageously, the device 90 generates an alert to the user of the vehicle 1 when the closure of the shutter 70 is incomplete. For example, this alert may be a visual signal such as the lighting of a light indicator disposed on the dashboard of the vehicle 1. The invention also relates to a method of implementation of the filling system 10. When the cap 60 closes the head 40, as in Figure 1, the closure of the shutter 70 is allowed, so that the flap 70 can cover the head 40 and the cap 60 closing the head 40. When the cap 60 is positioned in the housing 80 provided for this purpose in the housing 20, as in Figure 2, the closure of the flap 70 is prevented. In addition, when the cap 60 is positioned in the housing 80, the risk of loss is greatly reduced. Furthermore, the filling system 10 may be shaped differently from Figures 1 and 2 without departing from the scope of the invention. Alternatively not shown, the filling system 10 may be provided for filling a single reservoir, adapted to receive at least one fluid. In this case, the configuration of the system 10 is adapted to the intended application. According to another variant not shown, the filling system 10 may be provided to fill more than two separate tanks. In this case, the system 10 is equipped with filling heads having a number, a shape and an arrangement adapted to the intended application. According to another variant not shown, the head 30 may be closed by a removable cap, which has a similar operation to the cap 60 closing the head 40. In this case, the system 10 does not include closing means integrated into the head 50 or cover 50 integrated dust cover flap 70. According to a variant not shown, the inner surface 74 of the flap 70 abuts against the cap 60 disposed in the housing 80, but not against the cap 60 disposed on the head 40.
[0008] According to a variant not shown, the device 90 may be configured differently from FIGS. 1 and 2. For example, the orifice may be provided on the flap 70 and the pin may be provided on the casing 20. In addition, the technical characteristics of the various embodiments and variants mentioned in the description above may be, in whole or in part, combined with one another. Thus, the filling system 10 can be adapted in terms of cost, ergonomics and performance.
