[0001] The present invention relates to devices for treating the hair, and more particularly but not exclusively those for the care and / or the shaping of the hair, for example the smoothing. The invention relates more particularly to a water-resistant hairdressing utensil, particularly resistant to use on hair abundantly wet and / or gorged with hair product. BACKGROUND It is known to use, as part of a treatment of the hair by a professional or a consumer, utensils to move along the hair.
[0002] In some uses, the utensil can be moved along a hair soaked with water or hair care product. In particular, there are professional care services in which the hairdresser applies a product on a wet hair and then passes a hair straightener on this hair. During this passage, the product melts and is driven on the wick by the pressure of the iron clamp that wring the hair. This results in heavy sagging along the straightening iron which can cause malfunctions of the iron if the water or hair care product enters the electrical part of the utensil, can create short circuits. There is therefore a need for a hair treatment device that has a liquid tightness, so as to make the treatment of a hair abundantly wet and / or sip of hair product reliable and safe for the person handling the device . SUMMARY The object of the invention is to respond to this need and, according to a first aspect, to provide a device for treating the hair comprising having two arms movable relative to one another between a close configuration of treatment of the patient. hair and a spread configuration of engagement between them hair to treat. According to the invention at least one of the arms comprises a seal. According to one embodiment, the seal is embedded between a treatment plate of the hair and a counter form housed in said arm. Alternatively, the seal could be arranged - pinched for example - around the treatment plate. According to one embodiment, the arm may comprise a plurality of seals arranged among the various components of the arm.
[0003] The seal makes it possible to ensure good resistance to the water of the device, in particular by preventing any introduction of flow inside a mobile arm of the device during its use. By "flow" is meant a fluid spill, that is to say a liquid or a foam for example, emerging from the hair, especially under the effect of a spin pressure and / or heat produced by the device for treating the hair when it passes over the hair. By "cosmetic composition" is meant any cosmetic product for hair fiber treatment. This composition may, before being applied to the hair, be in the liquid state, solid or pasty. The water resistance provided by the seal makes it possible to prevent any risk of short circuits in the device, in particular when electrical and / or electronic elements are housed in one of the arms of the device, such as for example a heating resistor in the device. the case of a straightener.
[0004] Advantageously, each arm of the device comprises respectively a seal, especially when electrical and / or electronic elements are housed in each of the arms of the device. The configuration and the recess arrangement of the seal, between the treatment plate of the hair and the counter form housed in the arm of the device, provides a water resistant device meeting specific standards, such as the IPX4 standard where the device is subjected to a jet of water and must keep its operating condition. For example, the seal is an elastomeric silicone, or a rubbery polymer, such as PU or the like; it has a thickness of between 1 and 3 mm and a width of between 3 and 10 mm. According to a particular arrangement, the treatment plate has an outer face adapted to come into contact with the hair to be treated and an inner face having a housing adapted to receive at least one electrical element - for example a heating element. The seal is then disposed at the periphery of the housing defined in the internal face of the treatment plate; it thus completely surrounds the electric element. The seal has a certain elasticity and it comes to marry the outer walls of the housing receiving the electrical element.
[0005] According to a particular arrangement, the counter form encloses with the treatment plate the constituent elements of the device arm (electrical and / or electronic elements, insulators, ...). This against form may have a rim bearing against the seal. For example, the flange of the counter form is fitted on the outer periphery of the walls of the housing of the treatment plate. A portion of seal is thus embedded between the outer walls of the housing receiving the electrical element and the flange of the against form bearing on the seal. The waterproofness is thus optimal. According to one embodiment, the treatment plate of the hair and the counter form are secured to one another by snapping and / or screwing. The recessing of the seal between the treatment plate and the counterform is thus made in force, then is mechanically held by the securing means of the plate against the form. Advantageously, additional joints, such as seal washers arranged around the screws, can be arranged in and on the arm of the device according to the invention. According to one embodiment, the device according to the invention further comprises a rotary manifold connecting a power supply cable. The rotating collector makes it easier to handle the device during the treatment of the hair. In order to increase the tightness of the entire device, a double-jacket may be arranged on the manifold, with a first end secured to the manifold and a second end defining a fitting through passage of the cable. By "fitting through passage of the cable" is meant that the dimensions of the orifice are chosen to fit closer to the outer sheath of the power supply cable, thus limiting the entry of flows to the collector and the risk short circuits while allowing rotation when handling the device. For example, a porous element, such as a felt, may be arranged in the orifice of the double-envelope. The porous element then completes the sealing of the device at the collector by preventing any penetration of droplets along the sheath of the electrical cable to the rotating collector. Alternatively, the orifice of the double-envelope may be elastic and then grip the outer sheath of the power supply cable.
[0006] The invention further relates to a method of treating the hair with the aid of a device according to the invention, comprising the steps of: - applying water and / or a cosmetic composition to the hair, - pass the treatment device on the hair.
[0007] Additionally, a heat treatment is advantageously carried out, by coming of the lock of hair in contact with at least one heating element of the device, which will for example allow to melt, during the contact time, a cosmetic product previously applied to the hair. This fusion can create a flow along the device that will not be detrimental and will not cause a short circuit through the presence of the embedded seal. An example of such a heat treatment is described in FR 2910301, in the name of the applicant. Description of the Figures The invention will be better understood on reading the following detailed description, non-limiting examples of implementation thereof, and on examining the appended drawing, in which: FIG. 1 represents an example of a hair treatment device according to the invention, - Figure 2 shows an exploded view of elements arranged in an arm of the device according to the invention, - Figures 3 and 4 show assembly steps of the elements. arranged in an arm of the device according to the invention, - Figure 5 illustrates a detail of the device according to the invention, - Figures 6 to 8 show mounting steps of the elements arranged in an arm of the device according to the invention, and FIG. 9 represents an embodiment of the device according to the invention. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF ONE EMBODIMENT FIG. 1 shows an example of a device for treating the hair of the invention. Many devices of this type, sometimes called straighteners, have already been proposed, for treating a hair for shaping, with or without prior application of a hair product on the hair. In this example, the treatment device is a straightening iron 100 in the form of a clamp, comprising two arms 1, 2 connected to each other by means of a hinge 3 which allows the opening and closing of these and at least one treatment plate 11 associated with a heating element disposed on at least one of the arms. During styling operations of a lock of hair, the latter is introduced between the two arms 1, 2 in the open position, then the two arms are closed manually on the lock of hair. The lock of hair is then subjected, until the opening of the two arms and the extraction of the lock of hair, to the heat emitted by the heating element. Such a device 100 is typically powered by an electric cable 5 which can be connected to the device by a rotary manifold 4 to facilitate handling of the device. For some styling applications, the hair is wet and / or impregnated with a cosmetic product before the iron passes into the hair. Flows of water and / or hair cosmetic product can then occur. According to the invention, at least one of the arms 1, 2 comprises a seal embedded between the treatment plate 11 and a counter form housed in said arm. Figure 2 is an exploded view of the elements housed in at least one arm of the device according to the invention. Figure 2 shows the treatment plate 11 of the hair, which may be a metal plate, for example aluminum, or a ceramic plate. The treatment plate 11 has an outer face 16 which is the one coming into contact with a lock of hair during the treatment of the hair. The treatment plate 11 has an inner face, opposite to the outer face 16, and which has a housing 17 defined by lateral walls extending approximately 2 to 3 mm substantially perpendicular to the plane defined by the treatment plate 11. housing 17 is adapted to receive at least one electrical element 12, in particular a resistance to ensure a temperature rise of the treatment plate 11. An insulator 13, for example a micanite board, can be placed above the resistance 12 to protect her. FIG. 2 also shows the seal 14 having dimensions such that it can be adjusted peripherally of the housing 17 of the treatment plate 11, as illustrated in FIG. 3. FIG. 2 again shows a counter shape 15 which will press on the seal 14 and close the housing 17 receiving the electrical element 12, as shown in Figures 3 and 4. The seal 14 is thus embedded between the treatment plate 11 and cons form 15. In order to ensure this embedding, the treatment plate 11 and against form 15 are secured to one another by forcing the seal 14. For example, the treatment plate 11 may comprise a tab 19 adapted to cooperate with a groove against the form 15, or vice versa. The treatment plate 11 and the counter form 15 can thus be secured together, at one end, by snapping of the tongue 19 in the groove, as shown in FIG. 3, and at the other end by screwing, as illustrated in FIG. Advantageously, an attached washer can be inserted with the screw 20 by perfect sealing of the arm of the device. Figure 5 illustrates the embedding of the seal 14 between the treatment plate and the counterform 15. The seal 14 may be an elastomeric silicone; it has a general shape of hollow rectangle, with a thickness of between 1 and 3 mm and a width of between 3 and 10 mm. It has a certain elasticity and its internal dimensions are chosen so that it marries the outer walls of the housing 17 receiving the electrical element 12. The against form 15 has a flange 18 bearing against the seal l4 . In FIG. 5, the rim 18 of the counter form 15 is fitted on the outer periphery of the walls of the housing 17 of the treatment plate 11. A joint portion 14 is thus embedded between the outer walls of the housing 17 receiving the electrical element 12 and the flange 18 of the counter form 15 bearing on the seal. The width of the gasket 14 is, however, sufficient to protrude outside the rim 18 of the counter form 15. As illustrated in FIG. 6, the assembly consisting of the treatment plate 11 and the counter form 15 embedding the gasket sealing 14 and enclosing the electric element 12, is then placed in a recess of the arm 1 of the device, with the treatment plate 11 outwardly in order to be in contact with a lock of hair during use of the device. Once this set arranged in the arm 1, a cover 21 closes the remainder of the arm 1, as shown in Figure 8. It is noted in Figure 7 that the seal 14 comes to overflow the treatment plate 11 - against form 15 secured. The lid 21 is therefore supported on an overhanging portion of the gasket 14 which perfects the tightness of the assembly. The cover 21 may be screwed, and seal washers may be inserted with the screws, or the cover 21 may be secured by any other means such as snapping, sliding, gluing or otherwise. FIG. 9 illustrates an embodiment in which the overall sealing of the hair treatment device is completed with a double envelope 7 positioned on the electrical collector 4. The jacket 7 has a first end secured to the collector 4, for example glued, and a second end which defines an orifice 6 of adjusted passage of the cable 5, that is to say an orifice 6 of dimensions just sufficient for the cable to cross but without significant gap. For example, the orifice 6 can be elastic and grip the cable. In Figure 9, there is illustrated a porous element 8 arranged in the orifice 6 to prevent water ingress through this. The entire device 100 is thus waterproof, and can in particular meet the requirements of IPX4 standards or higher. Such a device can be used safely on hair abundantly wet or mouthful of products without the flows caused by the treatment adversely affect the proper functioning of the device The invention is not limited to a straightener as a treatment device of the hair. The device can be any device for care, shaping (smoothing, looping or embossing hair), coloring or discoloration of the hair and / or any power tool causing a flow in their passage and requiring waterproof protection vis-à-vis -vis of this flow.
[0008] The phrase "having one" is synonymous with "having at least one".
