FOREST MACHINE ORGANIZATION
The invention relates to an arrangement in a forestry machine comprising a frame, a rocking bearing mounted on a frame comprising 5 rocking frames and at least two wheels mounted at a distance from each other, a transmission fitted within the frame for transmitting power to and from provided with a support means disposed between the forest machine frame and the rocking frame to support the rocking frame at least occasionally in the forest machine frame.
The invention also relates to a forestry machine.
Machines used in mechanical harvesting will inevitably also cause a certain load on the forest floor, soil and thinnings to grow in the root system of the remaining trees. The problem is typically less in the case of a harvester that does not need to carry a load like its forwarder in addition to its own weight. In other words, there is usually a significant difference in the ground pressure exerted by the said forest machines on the ground. There is, therefore, a ground pressure exerted by these machines on the ground
20175518 prh 06 -06- 2017 started to reduce various known solutions by increasing the contact area between the ground and the forest machine. Since the width of forest25 machines is limited by the provisions of the Road Traffic Act for their road transports, efforts have been made to increase the contact area by using a longer track unit.
The applicant's own publication WO 2015/162341 is known in the art
1A shows a trunk controlled forest machine according to FIG
100, which includes track units for supporting 15 forestry machines 100 in the ground. The frame 12 of the forestry machine 100 is divided into two parts, the first frame 12.1 and the second frame 12.2 being articulated to each other, both of which are connected on both sides
20175518 prh 06 -06- 2017 is provided with a single crawler unit 15. The forestry cab 46 and the engine 48 are located in the first frame 12.1, while the load space 50 is in the second frame 12.2. The cargo space 50 extends laterally in the forestry machine 100 over the track unit 15 to increase the volume of the cargo space 50. The force is transmitted from the engine 48 by means of a transmission 19 within the first frame 12.1 and second frame 12.2 of the forestry machine 100 and distributed centrally laterally from the second frame 12.2 of the forestry machine 100 to the track units 15. Each track unit 15 is supported on the frame 12 10 by rocking 14 and a rocking bearing 20 between the body 12. In this forestry machine, instead of roller units, rocking wheels can also be used, which are articulated with the same rocking bearings to the first and 15 second frames of the forestry machine.
However, in the case of prior art WO 2015/162341 A1, the use of a longer roller unit causes the stresses on the rocker bearing of uneven terrain to increase. The roughness of the terrain 20 tends to push the rocker bearings in the lateral direction of the forest machine or to turn the rocker longitudinally, whereby the long rocker rocker body forms a long torque arm relative to the rocker bearing, causing high torque to the rocker bearing. This, in turn, shortens the life of the rocking bearings or may even break the rocking bearing.
The object of the invention is to provide an arrangement in a forestry machine by means of which the stresses caused by rocking on a rocking bearing, and in particular by long rocking, can be reduced by a single 30-fold solution. It is also an object of the invention to provide a forestry machine in which the stresses exerted on a rocking bearing, and in particular long swaying, can be reduced by a simple solution. this
The features of the invention are apparent from the appended claim 15.
This object may be accomplished by an arrangement in a forestry machine comprising a frame, a rocking bearing mounted on the frame comprising a rocking frame and at least two wheels mounted at an intermediate distance, and a transmission fitted within said frame to transmit power to the rocker and thereby to the wheels. In addition, the forestry machine includes a rocking bearing 10 attached to a frame for mounting a rocking member to a frame through which a transmission for the rocking gear is fitted. The arrangement includes support means disposed between the forest machine frame and the rocker frame to support the rocker frame at least from time to time, which support means include a support surface 15 mounted to the forest machine frame on the side of the frame and a counter surface adapted to the rocker body The support means are disposed at a distance from the rocking bearing in the distance between the wheels 20 of the rocking member.
In the arrangement according to the invention, the lateral forces of the forest machine on the rocker acting on the rockers can be received on the forest machine body 25 in addition to the rocking bearing by contacting a pair of pairs of supporting and spaced surfaces at a distance from the rocking bearing. In this way, the lateral forces exerted on the rocker body are transmitted by a simple mechanical structure to the forest machine body, whereby the lateral forces exerted on the rocker bearing by the roughness of the terrain 30 are also negligible even when using long rockers. In the arrangement of the invention, the lateral forces cause lateral stresses on the forestry machine in the distance between the wheels and the support means on the rocking body. According to the invention
20175518 prh 06 -06- 2017 The arrangement can be adapted both to new forest machines during their manufacture and to retrofit existing forest machines.
In the invention, the lateral forces of the forest machine due to the roughness of the terrain can be transmitted between the rocker frame and the forest machine frame in addition to the rocker bearing by the arrangement according to the invention. For example, a stone that is rocking in the direction of travel with the first wheel, partially at the side of the wheel 10, exerts a lateral force on the wheel which tends to twist the rocker bearing through the rocker body as it passes through the rocker bearing to the forest machine body. With the arrangement of the invention, it is possible to transmit a force closer to the wheel directly between the rocking frame and the forest machine frame 15 and thereby reduce the strain on the rocking bearing. It will be appreciated that in the arrangement of the invention, when speaking about the support surface and the counter surface, their location is not tied such that the support surface is in the projection and the counter surface in the rail, or that the support surface is in the rocking frame and The mutual location of the support surface and the counter surface may also be the opposite depending on which surface is called the support surface and what is the counter surface.
In the arrangement according to the invention, the support means are a component separate from the swing25 bearing.
Preferably, the support surface and the counter surface are equidistant from the rocking bearing and facing each other. They can then transmit the forestry machine's lateral forces when needed.
Preferably, the support means include two pairs of support surface and counter surface disposed on either side of the rocker bearing. In this case, the transmission of forces between the rocking body and the forest machine frame is symmetrical with respect to the rocking bearing.
20175518 prh 06 -06- 2017
Preferably, the support means are adapted to receive both compressive and tensile forces. In this case, the arrangement can be implemented using support means on only one side of the rocker 5 asymmetrically. On the other hand, if such support means are used symmetrically on both sides of the rocking body, the support means operate to simultaneously receive and transmit external loads as one pair of support surface and counter surface receives clamping forces and the other pair 10 receives tensile forces on opposite side of the rocker bearing.
Preferably, each pair includes two support surfaces and counter surfaces for receiving and transmitting compression and tensile forces. With two support surfaces and an abutment surface, each pair can receive both clamping and tensile forces, so that transmission of forces from the rocker frame to the forest machine frame can be effected by only one pair or via both pairs in the rocker frame on both sides of the rocker bearing.
According to one embodiment, the support surface is a projection attached to the rocking frame and the counter surface is a rail mounted on the forest machine frame. Such a pair is simple to implement and retrofit to existing forest machines.
Preferably, the projection includes a structure projecting from the projection in the direction of the diameter of the projection, wherein the support surfaces are formed as transverse planes of the projection, and the rail includes mating surfaces corresponding to the support surfaces of the projection projecting structure.
In such a structure, the protruding structure of the projection extends between the abutment surfaces of the tread, whereby a contact is formed between the abutment surface at the end of the projection and the base of the tread during lateral compressive loads. Similarly, the projection in turn protrudes
20175518 prh 06 -06- 2017 A contact is formed between the support surface closer to the rocker frame and the tread surface away from the forest machine frame when the rocker is subjected to lateral traction forces.
Preferably, the rail is a C-rail which has a cross-sectional opening towards the rocking body. Such a structure automatically forms two counter surfaces which, together with the projection, form a structure that transmits both the clamping and tensile forces in the lateral direction of the forest machine in a lateral direction.
According to one embodiment, the C-rail is closed at its ends to prevent the projection from reaching the outside of the C-rail. In this case, the closed C-rail acts as a tilt limiter for the rocker.
Preferably, in each pair, the counter surface is shaped to be curved to correspond to the path of motion of the support surface as the rocking member swings. In this way, the pair of support and counter surface transmits power between the rocker frame and the forest machine frame in all positions of the rocker regardless of how much the rocker has turned.
According to another embodiment, the support means include a shaft, a wheel mounted at the end of the shaft to form a support surface, and a plate forming a counter surface to the support surface formed by the wheel. In such an embodiment, the contact between the support surface and the counter surface may be scrolling as the rocking member swings during lateral loads.
The distance of each pair from the rocker bearing may be 20-45%, preferably 35-40% of the length of the rocker body in the direction between the wheels. In this case, the distance between the wheel and the pair formed by the support surface and the counter surface is kept so small that the tensioning forces on the rocker body remain small.
20175518 prh 06 -06- 2017
Preferably, the forestry machine includes a track unit having an endless track and said rocking wheel.
Alternatively, the rocker wheels are rubber wheels and the rocker is part of the bogie.
Preferably, the arrangement comprises fastening means for securing the support surface of each pair to the rocking frame and for securing the counter surface 10 to the forest machine frame. By means of fastening devices, the arrangement according to the invention is simple to install on a forest machine and to be removed for maintenance.
The fastening means may be, for example, bolts and openings for bolts formed in the size of the rocker 15, the forest machine frame and the support means.
According to one embodiment, the pair formed by the support surface and the counter surface may include locking means for locking the rocking member 20 in a rigid manner to prevent the rocking member from rotating about the rocking bearing. The locking means may be, for example, a structure similar to an actuating cylinder of a disc brake fitted to the projection. Similarly, the locking means may also be a hydraulically controlled rod and a corresponding recess.
Preferably, the position of the pair is adapted to the swinging limits of the rocker arm so that the support surface is always on the counter surface at the extreme limits of the swing arm's entire swing arm. This prevents the support surface from being able to pass past the counter surface by the forestry machine's lateral forces 30 in the extreme position of the rocking rocker, whereby the rocking surface can contact each other in the rocking direction, causing damage.
20175518 prh 06 -06- 2017
In this context, a rocking rack means a structure for supporting wheels, in which the wheels are fixedly locked relative to one another to a rocking frame, which in turn is pivotally connected to a forest machine frame by means of a rocking bearing. As I swung the front wheel up to the terrain, the rocker body swivels around the rocker bearing and the rear wheel moves down. This allows for greater control of the forest machine in the forest and minimizes unexpected movements of the forest machine.
The object of the forest machine according to the invention can be achieved by a forest machine comprising a frame, rocking mounted on the frame, comprising at least two wheels mounted on the rocking frame and spaced apart from it, a transmission arranged in connection with the frame A transmission is fitted through the rocking bearing to the rocker. The forestry machine further includes an arrangement comprising support means disposed between the forest machine frame and the rocking frame to support the rocking frame at least occasionally in the forest machine frame. The support means include a support surface fitted to the forest machine frame to the frame side and a counter surface adapted to the rocking frame side to transmit lateral forces to the rocking frame by means of the frame and the counter frame in contact between the support surface and the counter surface. The support means are located at a distance from the rocking bearing in the distance between the wheels of the rocking member.
The operation of the arrangement according to the invention is based on the fact that, in a normal situation where the rocker is not subjected to lateral torsional forces, the support surface and the counter surface travel in close proximity to each other or at least in light contact with each other. When the lateral forces are generated, the support surface and the counter surface 9 immediately form a contact which transmits the lateral forces from the rocking body to the forest machine frame, whereby only a part of the forces is transmitted through the rocking bearing of the rocker.
The invention will now be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:

Figure 6 is a side elevational view of the forestry machine in accordance with the invention with the rocking member loose, showing the rear side of a forestry machine using the arrangement of the invention.
The arrangement according to the invention may be formed in the prior art forest machine 100 including frame 12 shown in Fig. 1, rocked 14 mounted on frame 12, comprising rocking frame 16 and at least two wheels 18 and transmission 19 disposed spaced apart from frame 12.
In addition, the forestry machine includes a rocking bearing 20 attached to a frame 12 for mounting a rocking member 14 on a body 12 through which a transmission of power to the rocking member 14 5 is arranged. The support means of the arrangement 10 according to the invention are arranged between the rocking body 16 of the rocking element 14 and the frame 12 of the forestry machine 100 at a distance from the rocking bearing 20.
Figure 2 shows an arrangement 10 of the invention in connection with a second frame 12.2 of a forest machine 100. As shown in Figure 2, the forestry machine body 12 is provided with a rocking body 16, which is connected to the rocking arm 14 by means of a rocking bearing 20. The transmission 19 is introduced via the differential 52 through the rocking bearing 20 to the rocking body 20.
16, within which power may be transmitted to the wheels, in this case to the drive unit 56 of the track unit 15, as shown in the figure.
6. The wheels 18 of the roller unit 15 are surrounded by an endless roller mat 36, to which power is transmitted by a drive wheel 56. In the arrangement 10 according to the invention, the support means 11 are arranged in the lateral direction of the forest machine between the forest machine body 12 and the rocking body 16. In the embodiments shown in Figs. 2-6, the support means 11 are fitted on both sides of the rocker bearing 20 to the rocker body 16, but it should be understood that the arrangement of the invention can also be implemented with support means on one side only if the support means are provided. On one side, it is meant that the support means are in the rocking body only between the rocking bearing and one wheel.
When using support means 11 arranged on either side of rocker bearing 20 as shown in Figures 2-6, lateral forces of the forest machine are transmitted from uneven terrain by wheels to rocking body 16 and from rocking body 16 through rocking bearing 20 and support means 11 to forest machine body 12.
20175518 prh 06 -06- 2017 where the wheels are not subjected to lateral forces or very small forces, only the rocker bearing 20 transmits power from the rocker body 16 to the forestry machine body 12. At its simplest, the support means 11 can only be , that there is almost contact between the rocking frame and the forest machine frame. Under the effect of lateral loads, the body contacts either the forest machine frame or the rocking frame, transmitting power between the forest machine frame 10 and the rocking frame. This body may be fixed, but it may also be, for example, a plain bearing or a rotating structure. In all cases, the support surface and its counter surface are formed, in which contact force and counter-force are transmitted in the lateral direction of the forest machine.
In Figures 2-4a, 5 and 6, the support surface 22 and the counter surface 24 of the support means 11 are formed by an elongate projection 28 and a rail 30. The protrusion may be, for example, a pin or other similar elongated body. Preferably, the rail 30 is formed in the shape of an arc 20, whereby it corresponds to the mutual path of motion of the forest machine body and the rocking body as the rocking rocker swings. Alternatively, the rail may also be straight because the radius of curvature at a distance from the rocker bearing is small. In this case, the rail should be slightly looser than in the case of a curved rail. In this case, the rail 25 is a C-shaped rail 30 which opens in the lateral direction of the forest machine and has two counter surfaces 24 as shown in Fig. 4a. The projection 28 also preferably comprises a radially projecting projection 28 of the projection 28. The support surface 22.1 at the end 60 of the projection 28 is at least occasionally in contact with the abutment surface 24.1 on the base 62 of the rail 30 to receive clamping forces, and in the protruding structure 32 of the projection 28 convey. In other words, the projection 28 and the rail 30 form a forestry machine in the lateral direction for transmitting forces in this direction. On the other hand, when the rail 5 30 is curved in its longitudinal direction, it allows the projection to move in the groove formed by the rail while swinging freely. Advantageously, both the support surfaces and the counter surfaces may be made of a material having good sliding properties or may be coated with a material having a low coefficient of friction, for example a Teflon coating. The support surfaces and mating surfaces may also include separate wear pieces that are replaceable as required.
The rail 30 may be open at its end or, as shown in Fig. 4a, released, whereby the rail 30 at the same time forms a surface 66 which acts as a tilt limiter for the rocking member.
When implementing the support means, as shown in Figs
The projection and rail according to Figs. 4a and 6 allow the projection and rail to be positioned freely with the projection either in the rocking frame or in the forest machine frame and the rail in turn in one of these.
20175518 prh 06 -06- 2017
Alternatively, the support means 11 may also be implemented as shown in Fig. 4b as a structure having a shaft 44 mounted on a rocker body or forestry machine body 25 having a bearing 42 mounted on its end. The wheel 42 forms a support surface that is in contact with the shaft
Such a support means forming a counter surface 24.
however, the structure can only transmit clamping forces unless, for example, a rail is formed as a counter surface, which would allow the wheel to be supported by two counter surfaces. According to one embodiment, the wheel 42 may be a gear wheel and the counter surface may be formed, for example, by a tooth chain.
The arrangement according to the invention can be fabricated directly into new forestry machines by welding already at the production stage. Alternatively, the support means may be secured by bolted joints so that they can be easily replaced and serviced during contact. Correspondingly, an arrangement according to the invention can also be fitted to existing forest machines by, for example, forming the necessary holes for bolt fastening in the forest machine.
Figure 6 shows the second frame 12.2 of the forest machine and the load space 50 formed therein. The arrangement according to the invention is particularly significant in high-load forest machines because the high-centered load center easily shifts 15 significant distances away from the centerline of the forest machine. Here, the load on the rockers also shifts from a steady load situation where the load is distributed to both rockers to an uneven load situation where the load is largely distributed to one rocker while the other remains at a much lower load.
In this situation, the lateral loads of the rocker will further increase the strain on the rocker bearing.
20175518 prh 06 -06- 2017
At a distance 1 (Fig. 5) of the arrangement 10 according to the invention, they are capable of transmitting force, the support means being disposed at a distance from the rocker bearing 20, laterally in all rocking positions of the rocker member 16. In other words, the support means cannot be placed in a long rocker so far that the support surface and the counter surface are not in opposite position of the rocker. On the other hand, the support means should be as far away from the rocking bearing as possible to minimize the distance between the support means and the wheel. This is to minimize the moment arm between the wheel and the support means, which causes torque to the rocker body. For example, in a rocking rack with a rocking body length of 2 m, the support means are preferably located 60 cm from the rocking bearing.
