The extraction of the container can be carried out by various methods, based on a stabilized lifting mechanism, with a guiding system and automatic coupling of the compaction box as well as a telemetric management system of all the control parameters and use of the equipment.
[0010] The object of the invention is to provide an installation which, in addition to offering the aforementioned features, has great constructive simplicity as well as ease of access to the various components that form part of said installation.
[0012] BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0014] At present, for the collection of waste in urban or industrial areas, containers located on public roads are usually used, as well as the so-called underground containers, which are becoming more and more widespread since they present a series of advantages not only aesthetic but also also, for example, they allow to take up less space on public roads and are more hygienic.
[0015] In addition, with the compaction of the waste, a greater storage of these is guaranteed, extending the collection of the waste in time, with the consequent reduction of expenses in the collection.
[0017] In the field of underground containers, they are usually comprised of a mailbox located on the outside of the public road where the user can dump the waste through a hatch or door and a container located at the bottom, specifically inside a work pit which can be accessed by opening a hinged lid to allow access to gripping means to extract the container.
[0019] Given the increase in urban waste due to higher consumption in today's society and the fact of increasing the number of packages for packaging products, there are sets of underground containers that include a compacting equipment or device linked to the container that allows compaction of waste within the set, in such a way that it allows a greater volume of waste to be stored within the container and increases the time between collection or extraction of waste by means of a waste collection vehicle. Additionally, it is possible to have means that allow lifting only the container.

[0023] However, this type of equipment presents a series of limitations, among which the following should be highlighted:
[0025] • Although they have means to lift the container, the compacting equipment is always located inside the pit, which complicates access to it and therefore complicates its maintenance or repair.
[0027] • They do not include means of load stabilization.
[0028] • They have a complex structure, which has a negative impact on their installation costs.
[0030] • Lack of versatility in container handling maneuvers.
[0032] • Problems of tightness in the closure and consequent problems of bad odors.
[0034] • Control of the lifting of the container by means of a control tower or external circuit, which is exposed to vandalism, and may be inoperative.
[0036] DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0038] The underground installation for the compaction and collection of waste that is recommended fully satisfactorily solves the problems previously exposed in each and every one of the aspects discussed.
[0040] For this, and more specifically, the installation of the invention is planned to be installed in a pit located below ground level, which is closed by means of a pair of access covers to the two main and functional areas planned for the installation. , one hinged opening and the other opening by elevation, both hydraulically actuated, so that this set of lids are in normal use flush with the ground, establishing the classic mailbox for dumping the waste and which constitutes the only outstanding element of the installation in normal use, establishing under it and at the outlet of the same a compacting device provided with compaction means and a waste compacting chamber which, as has just been said, is in communication with the mailbox to receive the waste from the mailbox, and once they have passed through the compactor, they are sent by the device itself compactor towards a container for the accumulation of said compacted waste.
[0042] According to one of the essential characteristics of the invention, the installation comprises a platform that can be lifted from the base of the pit through means of elevation, the compacting device and the container being supported on said platform, and in which the mailbox is located on a structure that is integrally coupled with the elevating platform, giving the base or lid of said mailbox the previously described elevating character.
[0044] In this way, when the platform is raised, both the container and the mailbox-compactor assembly are raised, although this maneuver is not possible without the necessary and prior automated lowering of the lid associated with the container.
[0046] A vertical conduit is established between the base of the mailbox and the top of the compactor chamber such that the mailbox and compactor chamber are axially aligned in a vertical direction with respect to ground level, allowing direct access of the waste inserted through mailbox to compactor equipment.
[0048] Said conduit has been envisaged to include motorized rollers on which rotating blades are established whose turning facilitates and guarantees the descent of the waste to the compactor.
[0050] At the same time, in said conduit two safety gates are established by means of which the access to the compactor of the waste is prevented when it is working, since otherwise, the same could fall behind the piston of the compactor when it spreads, which could cause damage and jamming of the mechanism.
[0052] In the same way, it has been foreseen that the container itself has a tilting side door, and a hydraulic extraction mechanism, so that in correspondence with the lateral bottom and opposite said hatch a horizontally movable wall is established, through the use of a piston or similar element, which will move the compacted waste towards the outside of said container.
[0054] In this way, a large door is defined on the side of the container, for the extraction of its content, while in said door a second door is established, of smaller size, according to the dimensions of the compactor and through the one accessed by the waste by effect of said compactor.
[0056] According to another characteristic of the installation of the invention, the lifting means may comprise an extendable clamp with an articulated parallelogram that is coupled to the lifting platform that moves axially and vertically, and at least one hydraulic cylinder that is articulated in a base of the pit and the extendable clamp, the cylinder being linked to hydraulic equipment. This installation therefore stands out for its simple construction, assembly and maintenance.

[0097] PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
[0099] In view of the figures outlined, it can be seen how the underground installation for compaction and collection of waste that is recommended is planned to be partly installed inside a pit located below ground level, comprising a mailbox (1) located above ground level in normal use, a mailbox (1) which in this position is the only prominent element of the installation, and which is intended for dumping waste.
[0101] Under said mailbox (1) there is a compacting device (2) provided with an outer casing inside which compaction means are located that include a hydraulic piston (14) located in a horizontal plane or parallel to ground level and a compacting chamber (3) of waste where the waste that falls from the mailbox (1) is placed, said compacting chamber (3) being in communication with the mailbox (1) to receive the waste from said mailbox (1), and with a container (4) for the accumulation of compacted waste.
