    FURNITURE SUPPORT DEVICE
    DESCRIPTION Object of the invention
    The present invention, as expressed in the statement of this specification, refers to a support device for furniture comprising at least one arcuate piece of plastic material that adapts to the edge of a base of furniture, such as chairs, armchairs, stools, tables, etc .; so that the furniture rests on the floor by means of that arched piece, thus obtaining a seat that protects the base of the furniture by avoiding its direct contact with the floor, thus preventing the deterioration of said base as well as the scratching of the floor.
    Starting from this premise, the objective of the invention is that the arcuate pieces of plastic material remain stably anchored at all times to the edge of the furniture base, even when the furniture is dragged, standing out that conventionally other furniture incorporating Semi-rigid profiles in their metal bases, after time they end up dislodging from their location, especially when they are dragged, constituting this fact an obvious problem that is solved with the device of the invention.
    Technical problem to solve and background of the invention
    At present there are many furniture, among which those that have metal bases that have perimeter edges of closed contours where semi-rigid profiles that support the ground are coupled, thus avoiding direct contact of the perimeter edges of the metal bases on the ground. These semi-rigid profiles have a simple structure of rectangular, universal and non-specific section; so that said semi-rigid profiles do not adapt well to the edges of the metal bases or to the ground on which they rest, which causes them to be easily released, with the consequent problems that this entails.
    Although this described solution prevents in principle the premature deterioration of the base and the scratching of the floor where the furniture rests, it should be noted that the anchor of the semi-rigid profile is a weak anchor that is unable to maintain the stable position of said semi-rigid profile after time, especially when the furniture is dragged, which

    The semi-rigid profile ends up disengaging from its coupling in the edge of the furniture base.

    Description of the invention
    In order to achieve the objectives and avoid the inconveniences mentioned in the previous sections, the invention proposes a support device for furniture comprising at least one arcuate piece that is coupled on a perimeter edge of closed contour that forms part of a belonging base to a piece of furniture
    Said perimeter edge of the base comprises a lower section, an upper section and an intermediate section in which the other two sections converge: lower and upper. The lower section of the base edge fits into an arc of the arc that is configured to rest on its bottom face on a floor surface, while the lower section of the base edge sits on a support surface of the arched piece.
    The arched piece comprises a rear portion that is in contact with an inner face of the upper section of the edge of the furniture base; where said rear portion is an elevation of an upper face of the arcuate piece along its entire length that presses elastically against the inner face of the upper section of the edge of the furniture base.
    The arched piece has at one of its ends a male element materialized by an extension, while the opposite end of the arched piece has a female element materialized by a recess; where the extension is embedded within the recess forming a closed contour structure adapted and adjusted to the closed contour perimeter of the perimeter edge of the furniture base.

    The rear portion of the arcuate piece is located in an area adjacent to a rounded edge delimited by the confluence of the upper face of the arched piece and a plane corresponding to a vertical branch of an angular step located in correspondence with an external lateral face of the arched piece; where a plane corresponding to a horizontal branch of the angular step constitutes part of the support surface where the lower section of the edge of the furniture base sits.
    The arched piece also includes:
    - An internal rounded edge formed by the confluence of the lower face and an internal lateral face of the arched piece.
    - An external rounded edge located at an opposite end to the internal rounded edge; where the lower face of the arched piece is delimited between the two rounded edges: interior and exterior.
    The upper face of each of the arcuate pieces includes a groove that reaches the entire length of the arched piece, with the exception of a first end section adjacent to the extension, and a second end section that is longer than the first end section ; where the second extreme section integrates the recess in its entire extension.
    The continuity of the groove of the arched piece is interrupted by several intermediate fins.
    In one embodiment of the invention, the furniture support device comprises at least two arcuate pieces that are joined together by means of the extensions and recesses constituting the male and female elements, respectively, arranged at the ends of the arched pieces. .
    The arched pieces are made of an injected plastic material, light and resistant to wear.
    The function of the arched pieces is to serve as a support auction, making the furniture present a rigid surface of contact with the floor that improves the contact properties of the furniture with said floor, facilitating sliding, avoiding noise and scratching in certain types of soil (platelet, terrazzo, etc.).

    The geometry presented by the arched pieces adapted to the edge of the base, as well as the perfectly studied rounded edges, ensures that once the device of the invention is assembled, the arched pieces do not leave their location, even in extreme conditions of use .
    Thus, with the device of the invention a unique assembly is achieved to achieve the best support on the floor of the furniture and in the best conditions, executed independently of sizes and any suitable materials.
    Next, in order to facilitate a better understanding of this descriptive report and forming an integral part thereof, a series of figures are attached in which the object of the invention has been shown as an illustrative and non-limiting character.

    Description of an example of realization of the invention
    Considering the numbering adopted in the figures, the support device for furniture comprises two arched pieces (1) of plastic material that are coupled on a perimeter edge (2) of closed contour that forms part of a metal base (3) belonging to a furniture (4), so that the perimeter edge (2) of the base comprises a lower section (2a), an upper section (2b) and a curved intermediate section (2c) where the other two sections converge: lower (2a) and higher (2b).
    Thus, the furniture (4) rests on a floor (5) by means of the two arched pieces (1), obtaining a characteristic seat of the furniture assembly (4) that

    prevents the deterioration of the soil (5) and also the deterioration of the base itself (3) of the furniture (4). The arched pieces (1) comprise a section delimited by an upper face (1a), a lower face (1b) that is in contact with the ground (5), an internal lateral face (1c) and an external lateral face (1d) where an angular step (6) is formed in combination with a canalization (7). These two elements (6), (7) form a support surface (8) on which the lower section (2a) of the perimeter edge (2) of the base (3) of the furniture (4) sits.
    An edge of the perimeter edge (2) stops against a bottom (7a) of the continuous channeling (7) of the arched pieces (1).
    On the other hand, a posterior portion (9) of the upper face (1a) of the arched pieces (1) contacts and fits against an internal face (10) of the upper section (2b) of the perimeter edge (2) of the base (3), so that this contact between the arched pieces (1) and the inner face (10) of the perimeter edge (2), together with the seat on the support surface (8) of the arched pieces (1), ensure the anchoring of said anchoring pieces (1) to the perimeter edge (2) of the base (3).     Each of the arched pieces (1) incorporates in its upper face (1a) a groove (16) that reaches the entire length of the arched pieces (1), with the exception of a first end section (13) adjacent to the extension ( 11) and a second end section (14) that is longer than the end section (13). The second end section (14) integrates the recess (12) (female element) in its entire extension.
    The continuity of said groove (16) is interrupted by several intermediate fins (15) that help stiffen the structure of each of the arcuate pieces (1).
    The second end sections (14) of the two arched pieces (1) allow the total length of the contour formed by them to be adapted to the length of the perimeter edge (2) of the base (3) of the furniture (4). To do this, you can cut a few pieces of the second extreme sections (14).
    The confluence of the lower face (1b) and inner side face (1c) of the arcuate pieces (1) comprises an internal rounded edge (17).     The form of adjustment of the two arched pieces (1) at their ends configures a
    closed frame structure that adapts perfectly to the perimeter of the edge (2) of the base (3) of the furniture (4), without gaps; thus achieving a perfect fit that avoids that in the most unfavorable uses said frame structure (formed by the two arched pieces (1)) can be dislodged or expelled.

    - the arcuate part (1) comprises a rear portion (9) that is in contact with an internal face (10) of the upper section (2b) of the edge (2) of the base (3) of the furniture (4);
    15 where said rear portion (9) is an elevation of an upper face (1a) of the arcuate piece (1) along its entire length that presses elastically against the inner face (10) of the upper section (2b) of the edge ( 2) of the base (3) of the furniture (4);
