DESCRIPTION
Trunk of a car
The present invention relates to a trunk of a motor vehicle, which comprises a fixed floor and a mobile carpet, which allows a more secure attachment of the carpet to the fixed floor.
Background of the invention
In cars, a mobile carpet is used that is placed on the fixed floor of the trunk in its position of use. It is usual that these carpets are mobile and at the same time are rigid, so that they have no problems to be placed in a centered position because it is a rigid block that is easily located and positioned by contact with the boot walls. The carpets are mobile since it is necessary to access the spare wheel, or anti-puncture device, these normally being under the carpet.
The problem appears when using carpets that are not rigid. In some cases, these carpets are formed by a textile element of few millimeters and a central reinforcement with a greater thickness that is placed in the spare wheel housing. This reinforcement allows a theoretical positioning of said carpet.
However, there are situations in which the carpet reinforcement escapes from the spare wheel housing. In these situations, the carpet of textile material and not rigid, wrinkles instead of displacing the rest of the carpet. Thus, the rigid reinforcement of the central area that must fit with the spare wheel housing moves due to the spokes of the sheet, which are mandatory due to the manufacturing process, and make its positioning difficult.
In addition, it has been detected that when there is a heavy object on the carpet, when there is a remarkable acceleration, this object moves the carpet, removing it from its centered position.
Therefore, in these situations, there is a displacement of the carpet, an unwanted fact since it entails that objects located in the trunk fall out of the

carpet, producing noises by contact with the fixed floor, or also that a correct soundproofing of the trunk of the vehicle is not performed.
Document ES2508190 T3 describes a support bracket for a boot mat that completely or partially covers the floor of the luggage compartment of the car. In this support, the mat and the floor of the trunk comprise complementary protrusions between them, so that it requires an additional piece of plastic on the floor of the trunk and a lower layer of the additional carpet with the opposite shapes to make the fit. In addition, said fitting is not comfortable to perform, since it is located in the area opposite to the loading mouth, so that for a user the coupling between both components is not comfortable.
Therefore, the objective of the present invention is to provide a trunk for a motor vehicle in which the fastening and centering are more robust.
Description of the invention
With the boot of the invention, the aforementioned drawbacks are resolved, presenting other advantages that will be described below.
The trunk of an automobile vehicle according to the present invention comprises a fixed floor, a rear covering, where the rear covering covers a loading edge of the trunk, and a mobile carpet, where the mobile carpet covers at least partially the fixed floor in a position of use, in which the mobile carpet comprises at least a first element with magnetic properties and the back covering comprises at least a second element with magnetic properties, where the first element is superimposed on the second element in the position of use of the mobile carpet, so that the mobile carpet is held in the position of use.
It should be noted that the position of use means any position of the carpet in which it covers the back cover totally or partially. Non-use position means a position of the carpet outside the fixed floor, for example, removed from the trunk, allowing a user to access the fixed floor.
Thus, the first element with magnetic properties can be a magnet and the second element with magnetic properties can be a metal plate, so
5

that the metal plate is influenced by the magnetic field generated by the magnet. This situation can be inverse, where the first element with magnetic properties can be a metal plate and the second element with magnetic properties can be a magnet.
According to a preferred embodiment, the at least one first element is a magnet and the at least one second element is a magnet, where the first element and the second element are identical to each other, for example, of neodymium, or of any material suitable. A preferred embodiment is thus described, where identical magnets are used with each other. This point is beneficial since it guarantees that the magnets are positioned unequivocally and accurately, forcing the centering of the mobile carpet with respect to the fixed floor. With the use of magnets, a retention of the mobile carpet is also obtained, avoiding an involuntary displacement of the mobile carpet with respect to the fixed floor.
In addition, preferably, the mobile carpet is made of textile material, that is to say, it is made of a non-rigid textile material, so it has the positioning and consistency problems described and can be provided with reinforcements, if desired.
According to a preferred embodiment, the textile material of the mobile carpet is carpet, although it could be any other suitable textile material.
Advantageously, the at least one first element is placed at the end of the mobile carpet closest to or adjacent to the back cover. The placement of the first element at this end improves the haptic by the user, since it is the closest to the handling area.
Preferably, one direction of the force of attraction of the at least one second element is in a direction essentially perpendicular to the fixed ground, that is, the force of attraction is in a vertical direction. Thus, the direction of attraction is substantially equal to the direction of movement of the mobile carpet, when there is a transition of the mobile carpet between the position of use and the position of non-use. Thus, in the movement of approaching the mobile carpet to the rigid floor, the centering occurs automatically. Alternatively, it could be in a horizontal direction, having the same centering effect, but it would not have as much capacity to immovably retain the carpet on the fixed ground in the face of high stresses, as it could be with heavy elements on the mobile carpet, in curves and decelerations of outstanding values,

etc.
In addition, the at least one first element is preferably housed in a first housing and the at least one second element is preferably housed in a second housing, where a face of the at least a first element and a face of at least a second element are uncovered. . In this way, there are no materials arranged between the at least a first element and the at least a second element, the union between both being produced directly. In the mode of realization with magnets, the possibility of having a direct contact between the first magnet and the second magnet implies that these can be of less power, so that the thickness of the magnet can be reduced, achieving the same magnetic attraction module Between both.
Preferably, the first carcass is fixed to the mobile carpet by means of a clipped joint and the second carcass is fixed to the back cover by means of a clipped joint, for example by means of flanges and projections for its fixation to the carpet or the back cover. Alternatively, an adhesive, screwed or other type of joint can be used, although the clipped joint favors the assembly process and the reduction of necessary tools and components.
The mobile carpet may also comprise a handle, in which case the mobile carpet preferably comprises two first elements arranged on each side of the handle. In this way the centering of the mobile carpet to the fixed floor is favored, since the positioning is carried out based on two references. In addition, it is more comfortable for the user to unpin the mobile carpet.
According to a preferred embodiment, the at least one magnet of the at least a first element and the at least one magnet of the at least a second element comprise a thickness of substantially 6 mm. It is clarified that the thickness of a magnet is an indicator of the magnetic field it generates. A thickness is chosen around the mentioned value since it is a compromise between the clamping force between the at least one first magnet and the at least one second magnet and the unpinning force required by the user when removing the mobile carpet from the fixed ground The value chosen is sufficient for a robust fastening of the mobile carpet, while allowing a comfortable removal of the carpet by the user.
In the boot according to the present invention, the fixed floor comprises a first

geometry and the mobile carpet comprises a second geometry, preferably the first geometry of the fixed floor and the second geometry of the mobile carpet being equal, the mobile carpet being superimposed on the fixed floor in the position of use of the mobile carpet. In this way, the mobile carpet covers, in the use position, the entire surface of the fixed floor. This improves the appearance, soundproofing, retention of objects deposited in the trunk ...
In this way, thanks to the action of the magnetic fields generated by the elements with magnetic properties and the same geometry of the fixed floor and the mobile carpet, a correct centering is achieved and it makes it difficult for the carpet to slide to other positions, getting a correct retention of the carpet. In addition, the fastening of the mobile carpet to the fixed floor is reversible, facilitating the comfortable manipulation by the user of the mobile carpet.

Description of a preferred realization
The present invention relates to a trunk for a motor vehicle, which comprises a fixed floor (not shown in the figures), a rear covering 2 (represented

partially in figure 1) placed on said fixed floor, the rear covering 2 covering a loading edge of the trunk, and a movable carpet 1 (partially represented in figure 2). Fixed floor is understood as the component that delimits the trunk by its lower area. It is common for this fixed floor to be the body's own metal plate, which is covered by the mobile carpet 1.
Said mobile carpet 1 can be placed and removed from said back cover 2, defining a position of use, in which the carpet 1 completely or partially covers the fixed floor. The mobile carpet 1 and the fixed floor preferably have the same geometry, although they could have somewhat different geometries, provided that the mobile carpet 1 covers at least partially the rear covering 2 in its use position.
In order to avoid unwanted displacements of the mobile carpet 1 with respect to the back cover 2, the mobile carpet 1 comprises at least a first element 11 with magnetic properties and, in turn, the back cover 2 comprises at least a second element 21 with magnetic properties , the at least one first element 11 being superimposed on at least a second element 21 in the use position of the carpet 1, so that the mobile carpet 1 is held in the use position. It is thus observed that the back cover 2 covers at least a portion of the fixed floor, so that it provides a zone of overlap between the back cover 2 and the mobile carpet 1, which allows the coupling between both components.
Said at least a first element 11 and at least a second element 21 with magnetic properties are preferably magnets, for example, of neodymium or of any suitable magnetic material, which provide a sufficient magnetic force to retain the carpet 1 in its use position, but to allow the user to separate it at any time, by removing the mobile carpet 1 to a non-use position. To facilitate its correct attraction, the at least one first and second elements 11, 21 are arranged so that their attractive forces are substantially perpendicular to the fixed ground. This provides a correct clamping force of the mobile carpet 1, while facilitating the centering of the mobile carpet 1 on the fixed floor.
In addition, the first element 11 is preferably placed at the end 16 of the carpet 1 that is closer to the back cover 2, so that the user can hold said end 16 to remove the carpet 1, using less force than if the unless a first element 11 is located in another position.

Preferably, the carpet 1 is made of a flexible textile material, such as, for example, carpet, and the at least one first element 11 has a reduced thickness, for example, of 6 mm, to prevent it from protruding excessively from the thickness of the carpet 1.
Although not shown in the figures, it should be noted that the mobile carpet 1 may comprise a handle close to the end 16, to facilitate removal and placement of the mobile carpet 1. In this case, the mobile carpet 1 preferably comprises two first elements 11, one located on each side of the handle, and the rear covering 2 comprises two second elements 21 located in a complementary position. Thus the positioning of the mobile carpet 1 is improved by two references. In addition, the effort to be made by the user in order to decouple the mobile carpet 1 from the back cover 2 is less, thus facilitating the handling and operability of the component.
As can be seen in Figures 3 and 4, the at least one first element 11 is housed in a first housing 31, while the at least one second element 21 is housed in a second housing 32. Said first and second housings 31, 32 completely surround elements 11, 21 except for one of their faces, whose faces are in contact or facing each other in the position of use, as seen in these figures.
Although they could be fixed in any suitable way, in accordance with the embodiment shown, the first housing 31 is fixed to the mobile carpet 1 by a clipped joint and the second housing 32 is fixed to the rear covering 2 also by a clipped joint, which comprise first and second eyelashes 33, 34.
The placement and removal of the carpet 1 with respect to the backing 2 are very simple since it is simply necessary to bring or close the first element (s) 11 of the mobile carpet 1 with respect to the second (s) ) element (s) of the back cover 2, so that they are magnetically or not attracted to their respective fixing or separation operation.
Although reference has been made to a specific embodiment of the invention, it is evident to one skilled in the art that the described boot is susceptible to numerous variations and modifications, and that all the mentioned details can be replaced by other technically equivalent ones, without departing from the scope of protection defined by the appended claims.
