As can be seen in Figures 1 and 2, the strut object of the present invention is composed of a foot element or support integrated by a tubular element -1-that internally receives another tubular element -2-, being able to move one inside the other telescopically, presenting a fixing device -3-, for example with nut and pin, which allows to fix the elements -1-and -2-so that they can be adapted to varying heights of the construction site. The strut has a base -4-for its support, preferably in a non-planar profile, such as the edge of a floor slab, edge of a beam, etc., complementing it with the upper head -5-intended to be coupled to the beam or other element to support the upper floor of the work.
The base -4-will preferably be formed in the form of an L-structure, figure 4, with a horizontal arm -6-destined to rest on a flat surface of the support area, and another arm arranged at an angle -7-destined to lean on another beam surface or floor slab. Usually, the surfaces -6-and -7-will form a right angle to each other.
The articulation of the base -4-in the lower element -1-of the strut can be carried out, for example, by a transverse axis -8-which crosses paths wings -9-and -10-of the base -4 as well as the end of element -1-of the strut. The limitation of the angle of rotation between the strut element -1-and the base -4-can be achieved by various stop means, among which the arrangement shown in the figure can be included, in which the limitation of the angle of rotation of the base is achieved by interference in the rotation of the lower end of the strut with said base. However, it will be understood that instead of a direct stop arrangement between the strut element -1-and the base -6-other stop elements could be arranged, possibly adjustable, such as stops adjustable by screws or others.
