DESCRIPTION MULTIFUNCTIONAL BARBECUE
Technical sector
The present invention is related to the food preparation treatment and more particularly to the roast cooking by placing the food on a heat source, for which a barbecue is proposed that has structural characteristics that make it functionally advantageous for its transport and use, allowing the use of a simple and practical way in multiple forms of application. State of the art
It is very common at present the roast of food of all kinds by arranging them on a heat source, for which devices called barbecues are used, which comprise a support medium of the food formed by a grill or similar, said support being placed above a source of heat that can work by electric power or fuels of any kind.
Depending on the heating medium, the most commonly used barbecues are those that use embers (coal or wood) or those that use gas, the first because they provide very appreciated organoleptic qualities of roasted foods, and the second because they allow roasting operations very quickly and a good control of the heat supply to make the roasts.
In relation to their structuring, barbecues can be built, formed with bricks, sand, concrete, etc., which are of limited use to the location; existing, on the other hand, transportable barbecues, formed by essentially metal structures, with removable or foldable formations, which can be collected in a position that facilitates transport and storage when the barbecue is not used, and deployed to a position of use when the use for the roasting function is required.
Apart from all this, it is required that the barbecues can be adapted to perform the roasts in the most suitable conditions according to the type of food to be roasted and the heat available in the barbecue, for which the structure of the barbecues is usually provided with means of positioning the food support in different selective heights with respect to the heat source. However, these solutions require manipulations that are difficult during roasting, because the support of the food that has to be handled to carry out the regulation is at an elevated temperature, so that the manipulation puts in danger of burns to the user and the handling is difficult, with the risk of food falling out. Object of the invention
In accordance with the invention, a barbecue consisting of a folding structural assembly is proposed, with performance characteristics that improve the functional and use conditions with respect to conventional barbecues.
This barbecue object of the invention costs a structural assembly formed by an upper support frame of a grill and leg structures that are attached to the upper frame in an articulated assembly with the possibility of abatement below it and disengagement to a perpendicular position towards below, in relation to the upper frame is also arranged a tray for embers, which is hung from said upper frame by means of cables that are part of an adjustable lifting system of that tray for embers.
The adjustable lifting system of the embankment tray comprises four cables that are attached to a support structure on which the embankment tray is supported and that pass through conductive pulleys to be wound on reels incorporated on a shaft that is rotatably actuated. by means of a handle, said shaft having a rotating locking mechanism that is practicable to release the rotation. In that arrangement the embankment tray can be selectively positioned in height to perform roasts with embers housed in it, being removable for cleaning after roasting.
The grill that can be incorporated in support on the upper frame of the structural assembly is composed of a set of flat crossbars that have a transverse curvature determining a grooved shape longitudinally, said transverse bars being joined at their ends on stringers, of which one of them It has a height somewhat smaller than that of the other and determines a bowl on which the corresponding end of the crossbars ends. The grill is provided formed by two independent longitudinal legs, which can be used individually to cover a partial area of the upper frame of the structural assembly of the barbecue, and can also be arranged complementary to each other to form a complete grill over all that upper frame of the set Structural barbecue.
The upper frame of the structural assembly has small sections perpendicular to it at the corners, on which the leg structures are joined in articulation, which are also joined to the upper frame by means of articulated braces that allow the folding of said leg structures but that limit the turn of disregard of them in the perpendicular position with respect to the upper frame; the small perpendicular sections of the upper frame having offset holes of the articulation points of the leg structures, while the leg structures have respective threaded holes corresponding to said holes of the small perpendicular sections of the upper frame, for the insertion of threaded rods associated with handles, by means of which the leg structures are locked in the deployed position, at the same time determining handles that allow the barbecue to be moved comfortably and without danger of burns.
The upper frame of the structural assembly is formed by "L" profiles with the concave part inwards, determining a seat on which the grill can be supported in an embedded position that ensures its immobility; while on said upper frame can be incorporated, by means of fastening with hooks as a clamp, mounting brackets for roasting accessories with rotary movement, such as longitudinal bars or transverse rods that can be operated by means of a turning system.
A roasting plate can also be placed on the upper frame, replacing the grill or a part of it; a gas burner can also be provided on the upper frame for the use of the barbecue with gas instead of embers.
This gives a barbecue that is functionally versatile for different roasting modes, with an easy and safe regulation for roasting with embers; having the structural assembly in the position of use of the barbecue a stability that facilitates the use for the practice of roasts, as well as the possibility of moving the barbecue easily, even during use, without danger of burns.
The structural assembly of the barbecue can also be collected in a folded position that allows accommodation in a cover or bag, facilitating transport and storage.
Therefore, this barbecue object of the invention results in very advantageous characteristics, acquiring its own life and preferential character with respect to conventional barbecues that currently exist. Description of the figures

The object of the invention relates to a collapsible type barbecue, formed by a structural assembly comprising an upper frame (1) intended to support a grill (2) thereon, in relation to said upper frame (1) a tray (3) for embers and leg structures (4) arranged in articulated assembly with the possibility of folding in a folding position below the upper frame (1) and of disabling to a position deployed perpendicular to it.
The tray (3) for embers is arranged in a hanging assembly with respect to the upper frame (1), by means of a lifting system formed by four suspension cables (5) that pass through conductive pulleys (6) to wind up on reels (7) incorporated on an axis (8) that is rotatably operable, so that by twisting said axis (8) the cables (5) are wound or unwound with respect to the reels (7), raising or lowering the tray ( 3) for embers.
According to one non-limiting embodiment, the embankment tray (3) is provided with pins
(3.1) in the corner areas, by means of which it supports a support structure (9) to which the cables (5) of the lifting system are attached, passing said cables (5) through respective conductive pulleys (6) to go to wind two by two in two reels (7) arranged in the extreme areas of the axle (8), as shown in figure 3. In this arrangement, the embankment tray (3) can be removed for cleaning, after the barbecue is used in roasts with embers housed in that tray (3), which for this purpose is provided with handles (3.2) that facilitate the handling of the extraction.
The leg structures (4) have guides (10) in a section of their upper part, with respect to which the support structure (9) on which the tray (3) for embers runs, thus maintaining lateral stability in the movements of elevation and descent, while said guides (10) determine in their lower part stops that limit the path of descent of the tray (3) for embers at a certain height.
However, the axle (8) of the lifting system incorporates a mechanism (11) for locking and unlocking the rotation, formed by a disk (12) incorporated on the shaft (8) and provided with peripheral recesses, on which it is forced to rest by a spring (13) a rocker lever (14) provided with a rod (15) engaging the recesses of said disk (12). In this way, normally the rotation of the shaft (8) is kept locked by the engagement of the rocker lever (14) with respect to the disc (12) by means of the rod (15), retaining the tray (3) for embers at a height determined; said shaft lock (8) can be released by raising the rocker lever (14) against the action of the spring (13), so that the rod (15) is out of the disc recesses (12), so that, by doing then turn the shaft (8), the embankment tray (3) is raised or lowered, which can be left selectively positioned at different heights by establishing the shaft lock (8) by means of the rocker lever fitting (14) with respect to the disc (12) in the corresponding position. In this way it is easy to make a precise regulation of the distance between the grill (2) over which the products to be roasted and the heat emitting embers housed in the tray (3) are arranged, to make the roasts in the best conditions according to the products that are roasted and the heat emitted by the embers, without danger of burns for the user, nor that the products arranged for roasting fall.
The rotation of the shaft (8) is operable by means of a handle (16), which is coupled at one end of said shaft (8) for the rotary drive thereof when necessary, and can be removed from the coupling so that it does not interfere, while it is not necessary that rotary drive of the shaft (8).
The upper frame (1) is formed by "L" section profiles with the concave part inwards, determining a seat in which the barbecue grill (2) can rest on an embedded position that keeps said grill ( 2) stable without the possibility of lateral displacements, thus facilitating the use of the barbecue for the realization of roasts.
The grill (2) can have a total or partial dimension with respect to the upper frame (1), a formation thereof being provided in two independent longitudinal sections, which can be used individually to cover a partial area of the frame with any of them. upper (1), or arrange the sections in a complementary manner between them to cover the whole upper frame (1) with its assembly.
Structurally, the grill (2) is composed of transverse bars (2.1), which have a flat configuration with a transverse curvature, longitudinally defining a grooved shape; said transverse bars (2.1) being fixed at their ends on stringers (2.2), of which one of them is of a lower height than the other and determines a bowl (2.3) on which the transverse bars (2.1) flow . With this, when roasting is carried out, most of the juices that the roasted products give off run through the crossbars (2.1), to the bowl (2.3) where they are collected, thus reducing, to a large extent, the generation of Fumes and bad smells.
In the same support arrangement on the upper frame (1), a gas burner (17), as seen in Figure 10, can also be arranged in place of the grill (2) or a part thereof. for the use of the barbecue with gas to produce the heat of the roasts, by means of said gas burner (17), instead of with embers of coal or firewood in the tray (3) for embers.
On said upper frame (1), plates (18) can also be arranged for grilling, both using as a heat source a gas burner (17) or embers housed in the tray (3) for embers, thus multiplying the possibilities Practical use of the barbecue for the food roasting function.
In the same direction, with respect to the upper frame (1), accessory brackets can be fastened for the assembly of rotary roasting systems, for example a system of transverse rods (19), as seen in Figure 1, arranged on plates of support (20) that are fastened on the profiles of the upper frame (1) by means of snaps (21) by way of tweezers, according to figure 9, for which the profiles of the upper frame (1) have grooves (22) which allow the insertion of the lace hooks (21). The system of rods (19) for rotary roasting is provided with one of the support plates (20) formed by a plate with support recesses of the rods (19), while the other support plate (20) constitutes a box in which a succession of toothed gears consecutively meshed with each other is arranged, each having a polygonal central hole (23) open to the outside of the box, where the rods (19) with a section of polygonal section are inserted correspondent; a rod (24) projected axially to one of the toothed gears is projected to the outside of the box, on which the aforementioned handle (16) can be coupled, to actuate a rotary drive, which is transmitted consecutively from about Serrated sprockets to others, rotating all the rods (19) at the same time. The rods (19) have a throat in the support area on the support plate (20) provided with notches, thus determining in the support on the notches a socket that allows the free rotation of said rods (19), but with a axial retention that prevents their displacement so that they do not leave the socket in the holes (23) of the rotating drive sprockets.
This system of transverse rods (19) is not limiting, and a system of longitudinal rods can be arranged in the same way of mounting and rotating actuation, with support brackets on the end sections of the upper frame (1); as well as a cage-shaped rotating drum to house roasting products inside it, such as peppers.
The upper frame (1) has small sections (25) perpendicular to it in the corner areas, on which the leg structures (4) are attached at points of articulation (26), which are also attached to the proper upper frame (1) by means of articulated braces (27) that allow folding folding of said leg structures (4), but that limit the rotation of the unfolding of them in the perpendicular position with respect to the upper frame (1) .
The small sections (25) of the corners of the upper frame (1), also have outdated holes (28) with respect to the articulation points (26) on which the leg structures (4) rotate, which they possess for their part threaded holes corresponding to said holes (28) of the small sections (25) when said leg structures (4) are positioned in the deployed position perpendicular to the upper frame (1); so that through the mentioned holes (28) of the small sections (25) threaded rods (29) can be arranged which are threadedly coupled with respect to the corresponding threaded holes of the leg structures (4), whereby a blockage of said leg structures (4) is established in the deployed position, thus ensuring the stability of the barbecue in the use position.
The threaded stems (29) with which the blocking of the leg structures is established
(4) in the deployed position, they incorporate associated with them handles (30), which also serve as handles to move the barbecue, allowing it to move comfortably between two people, even during use, without danger of burns
5 for users.
To better ensure the stability of the barbecue during its use, at the lower end of the legs of the leg structures (4) there are protective and anti-slip blocks (31).
10 On the other hand, by removing the threaded rods (29), the leg structures (4), which can be folded below the upper frame (1), with the emboss tray (3) located on the ground higher position, as seen in figure 11, whereby the barbecue assembly is collected in a height dimension
15 greatly reduced, as seen in figure 12, being able to be housed in a bag-cover (32) or any other type of container medium, where it can be easily transported, as seen in figure 13, as well as stored in places storage or get into the trunk of cars constituting a minimum hindrance.
