    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
    The present invention relates to a repair kit for mounting in connection with luminaire mounting in countertops.
    The invention further relates to the use of a repair kit
    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
    It is known to mount a fixture in a countertop. It is also generally known to replace countertops due to leaks that occur between the luminaire and countertop, especially if the countertops are laminated particleboard, as particleboard crumbles and cracks due to the influence of water and moisture. Therefore, repair is not an obvious option today, once the worktop has been damaged.
    The mentioned leaks occur over time when the used gasket or gasket material initially placed between the fixture and worktop no longer has the intended packing effect, which is not immediately visible to the user until it is too late and the leaks have already damaged the worktop and fixture. longer is just as stuck in the countertop.
    The object of the invention
    It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a repair kit for mounting in connection with luminaire mounting in countertops where the cover can be used preventively. This is done by mounting the cover in connection with the first mounting of a fixture in a countertop, thus ensuring that no damage to the countertop can occur at a later date.
    It is also an object of the invention to provide a repair kit for mounting in connection with fixture mounting in countertops, where the cover can be used as a repair kit. This is done by mounting the cover in connection with the reassembly of a fixture in a damaged countertop, thus ensuring that no further damage to the countertop can occur at a later date.

    Damage to the worktop may occur as a result of leaks between the fixture and worktop, where the worktop is damaged, thereby necessitating replacement of the entire worktop.
    Description of the Invention
    According to a first aspect of the invention, the above stated object is achieved with a repair kit for mounting in connection with luminaire mounting in countertops, as initially described and as described in the preamble of claim 1, wherein the repair kit comprises at least a first plate having at least one a luminaire hole and wherein the repair kit further comprises at least one other plate with at least one hole for conducting at least the luminaire connection couplings and clamping devices.
    This makes it possible to use the first plate as a top plate, which is mounted on top of a table top as well as to insert and mount a fixture in the fixture hole.
    In a preferred embodiment, the repair kit is used by attaching the first plate to the top of the countertop and passing the fitting connections and clamping devices of the fixture through at least one fixture hole as well as the worktop, after which the fixture fastener is tensioned against the underside of the countertop.
    The repair kit can be used in connection with both laminated countertops and in connection with solid countertops.
    The attachment of the first plate to the upper surface of the countertop can in a preferred embodiment be carried out with silicone. Alternatively, other suitable sealants may be used.
    This further makes it possible to use the second plate as a lower plate, which is mounted under a countertop, where, among other things, the fitting connections and fastening devices can pass through the hole. As a particleboard mostly breaks
    DK 2017 70321 A1 on the underside is therefore a great help to be able to use another plate as a restraint when clamping a fixture on the underside of a table top.
    Thus, in a preferred embodiment, the repair kit is used in that the first plate is secured to the top of the worktop and the connection couplings and clamping devices of the fixture are passed through the first plate at least one fixture hole and the worktop and at least one hole in the second plate, where the second plate is placed against the underside of the worktop and where the fixture's fastener is tightened up against the other plate and against the worktop.
    In an alternate embodiment, the second plate may have several holes, for example one for the fitting connections and one for the fixture fasteners.
    The second plate placed on the underside of the worktop does not need to be fixed prior to clamping of the fixture, but can, for example, be fixed with silicone to facilitate mounting at difficult accessible locations and where there is usually not much room for an installer. Alternatively, other suitable means for holding and fixing may be used.
    In another aspect, the present invention also relates to a repair kit wherein at least the first plate is square.
    This makes it possible to apply one of the edges to a traditional rectangular sink.
    Thus, since it is most convenient from an economic and production perspective to make the first plate and the second plate respectively, the second plate can also be square and preferably the same size.
    Therefore, with the placement of the second plate under the countertop, where the second plate is not immediately visible, its shape is also not so important as long as its function is the same.
    With the first plate, however, it is more important how the plate looks. For example, if the sink is round, at least the first plate may have a concave side there
    DK 2017 70321 A1 corresponds to the sink. Alternatively, at least the first plate, for visual reasons alone, can be round, triangular, polygonal, heart-shaped, or shaped like many other shapes to taste and delight, as long as it does not affect the function of the plate.
    The present invention also relates in a third aspect to a repair kit in which at least the luminaire hole of the first plate is asymmetrically located.
    This makes it possible to have a hole in a square repair kit which makes the cover more flexible, so that in a preferred form there are at least two options for mounting the cover on a countertop. This is the case where a hole is located just far from the two opposite sides, but at different distances from the other two opposite sides.
    Alternatively, the hole may make the cover even more flexible, thus providing, in a further preferred form, four options for mounting the cover on a countertop. This is the case where a hole is placed so that it does not lie on either a center line or a diagonal line.
    The present invention also relates in a fourth aspect to a repair kit wherein at least the first plate is stainless steel.
    This makes it possible to use a material that does not rust and corrode in a humid environment when the repair kit comes in contact with water.
    Alternatively, copper, brass, composite or other materials which are suitable for and capable of withstanding moisture and water effects without cracking and otherwise damaging can be used.
    In a fifth aspect, the present invention also relates to a repair kit wherein at least the first sheet is laminated.
    This makes it possible to fold the cover into the worktop from the start and preferably from the manufacturer's side, where this can be done, for example, in connection with the sinking of a sink in a worktop. Alternatively, a laminated cover could
    DK 2017 70321 A1 is mounted on top of the existing countertop, both in connection with the initial mounting of a luminaire, but also in connection with a reassembly of a luminaire in a damaged countertop.
    In a preferred embodiment, the laminate may be of the same kind as the tabletop, but alternatively the laminate may also be in a contrasting color or a completely different laminate.
    The present invention also relates in a sixth aspect to a repair kit, wherein at least the dimensions of the first plate are 120 mm x 120 mm with a thickness of 1.5 mm.
    This makes it possible to use at least the first plate for the repair kit for most and most common mounting of fixtures in countertops, with the preferred dimensions of the first plate being 120 mm x 120 mm. However, there are a wide range of alternative options such as 115 mm x 115 mm, 110 mm x 110 mm or as rectangles with 120 mm χ 115 mm, 120 mm x 100 mm and so on.
    In a preferred embodiment, both the first plate and the second plate are made the same and thus with the same dimensions, which makes the manufacture of the plates easier and thus also cheaper to manufacture.
    In other alternative embodiments, the first plate has the dimensions 120 mm x 120 mm, while the second plate has the dimensions 100 mm x 100 mm. That the dimensions of the second plate in a preferred embodiment have dimensions smaller than the dimensions of the first plate is due to the fact that it is easier to mount the second plate under the countertop, and that it is not essential for the function of the second plate or visual representation that it is in contact with the sink.
    With respect to the thickness of the material for at least the first plate, a thickness of 1.5 mm is preferable, since such plate thickness will be stable without appearing as a foreign body in the form of a large and unmanageable block. Other thicknesses of course can also be used depending on whether the plate is folded into the worktop during the manufacture of the worktop or whether it is retrofitted on top of the worktop in connection with a repair. Likewise, the choice of material will be important for the plate thickness.

    In a further alternative embodiment, the thickness of the material may be diminished from, for example, the center of the repair kit towards at least one of the sides, which may make the transition from at least the first plate to the worktop even smaller.
    The present invention also relates in a seventh aspect to a repair kit, wherein at least the luminaire hole of the first plate is in the range 0 30 mm to 0 40 mm, but preferably 0 35 mm.
    This makes it possible to mount a luminaire so that it rests against the cover, but so that the luminaire's connection couplings and clamping devices can pass through the hole.
    The hole may be larger or smaller, for example in the range of 0 30 mm to 0 40 mm, depending on the selected luminaire, but with the usual luminaire sizes in Denmark a hole diameter of 0 35 mm is preferred. Therefore, if the hole is larger than or less than 0 35 mm, an ordinary fixture in Denmark cannot be in contact with the repair kit.
    As for the size of the hole in the second plate, there are not the same limitations here, as long as the hole is large enough for the fitting connections and clamping devices to pass through the hole.
    The present invention also relates, in an eighth aspect, to the use of a repair kit, for preventive mounting in connection with luminaire mounting in new countertops.
    This makes it possible to mount a repair kit and thus prevent damage to countertops by leaks and water impact of the countertop at, in and around the through hole in the countertop, which the cover in the form of the first plate will thus be able to shield. The second plate does not have the same shielding function, since water will not usually be able to affect and damage the table top from the second plate's location on the underside of the table top.

    The present invention also relates, in a ninth aspect, to the use of a repair kit, such as repair kit in connection with luminaire mounting in damaged countertops.
    This makes it possible to mount a repair kit as a repair kit on countertops that have already been damaged due to leaks and water impact of the countertop at, in and around the through hole in the countertop. Thus, when mounting a repair kit, the first plate may screen off for further detrimental effects of liquids and moisture in the countertop, while any second plate from a location on the underside of the countertop may ensure a stable and functional restraint by tightening the fixture's fixtures. For example, since a countertop made of particleboard mostly breaks down on the underside of the countertop, it is a great help to be able to use the other plate.

    Detailed description of the invention
    Figure 1 shows a repair kit 1 comprising at least a first plate 2, but which may also comprise a second plate 3. The figure shows an embodiment in which in the case of the first plate it is a luminaire hole 4 and in the case of the second plate a hole 5 for conducting at least connection couplings and fasteners centrally located in the repair kit 1 such that the distance to a first side 6 and a second side 7 is equal, while the distance to a third side 8 and a fourth side 9 is also alike.
    Figure 2 shows a repair kit 1 in one embodiment, in which the fixture hole 4 of the first plate and the second plate hole 5 are asymmetrically positioned so that the distance to the first side 6 and the second side 7 is different, while the distance to the third side 8 and the fourth page 9 is similar.
    Figure 3 shows a repair kit 1 in one embodiment, in which the fixture hole 4 of the first plate and the second plate hole 5 are asymmetrically positioned so that the distance to the first
    DK 2017 70321 A1 side 6 and the second side 7 are different, while the distance to the third side 8 and the fourth side 9 is also different.
    Figure 4 shows a damaged countertop 10 with a hole 11 and with several cracks 12 in the countertop.
    Figure 5 shows a countertop 10 with a sink 12, a fixture 13 and a repair kit 1. As can be seen in the figure, here is mounted a repair kit 1 with a first plate 2 as shown and described in the discussion of Figure 2, where luminaire hole 4 (see Figure 2) is asymmetrically located in the plate 2 and the side 7 lies against the edge 14 of the sink.
    Figure 6 also shows a countertop 10 with a sink 12, a fixture 13 and a repair kit 1 comprising a first plate 2. It is clear from the figure that the repair kit 1 and the first plate 2 have a thickness of material 15. Similarly, the figure shows a section through the tabletop 10, from which it can be seen that the tabletop 10 is a chipboard 16 having a top surface 17 which is laminated.
    Figure 7 shows a second plate 3 of a mounted repair kit mounted on the underside 18 of the countertop, showing that the fitting connections 19 and clamping means 20 pass through the hole 5. Since a countertop 10 made of chipboard 16 breaks most on the underside, it is therefore a large help, especially in repair work, to be able to use the second plate 3.
    Also, by using the second plate 3 as a restraint when clamping a fixture 13 from the underside 18 of a countertop, a good and durable clamping is ensured, both on a new countertop 10, but in particular on a countertop 10 which has been exposed to water and moisture, whereby the countertop 10 is cracked and crumbled around the hole 11 in the countertop 10.
    Figure 8 shows in sketch form a luminaire 13 mounted in a repair kit 1 in a countertop 10, wherein the countertop 10 is shown with an upper surface 17, an underside 18 and a hole 11. As can be seen in the figure, the repair kit 1 comprises a first plate 2 as well. with a luminaire hole 4 on the top surface 17 of the table top and a second plate 3 with a hole 5 for genDK 2017 70321 A1 for the insertion of at least the luminaire connection couplings 19 and clamping devices 20.
