Bag run and method and apparatus for packing items
The present invention relates to a bag web for packaging items such as liquids or loose goods.
The present invention also relates to a method of packaging items such as liquids or loose goods.
The present invention also relates to an apparatus for packing items such as liquids or loose goods.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Today, many packaging bags are made with zipper closures, so the user can close the bag again if he or she does not use the entire contents of the bag immediately.
There has also been a desire for many years to be able to increase the filling speed and to be able to produce packaging bags cheaper.
An example of fast and efficient filling of packaging bags is described, for example, in EP 1,087,890 B1. Herein, a bag web of bag items is conveyed through an apparatus with a filling station for loading filling goods, e.g. liquids or loose goods, in the bag items. The bag web comprises a continuous row of bag items separated by a plurality of slits extending from a bottom edge of the web up to a portion below an upper edge of the bag web. The side edges of the bag blanks are closed by welds at the slots, and the upper edge region comprises perforations arranged to grip pins on the loading means of the filler. After sealing the bag opening, the edge area is cut with the perforations and the sealed bag items are cut from the bag web. In the filling station, the bag items are opened by increasing the distance between the two feeding means with pins.
This technology is reasonably quick and efficient for use in filling bag items, but there is considerable material waste, in the form of the cut edge areas.
DK 2017 70218 A1
The object of the invention
It is an object of the invention to provide an alternative to the prior art which eliminates or at least substantially reduces material waste.
It is also an object of the invention to provide a method, apparatus and bag webs with a zipper closure and to ensure rapid and efficient filling of zipper bags which eliminate or at least substantially reduce material waste.
Furthermore, the object of the invention is to provide a compact apparatus for filling bags containing few moving parts.
Furthermore, the object of the invention is to provide a method and a compact apparatus for filling bags which are reliable and which optimize the filling speed for filling the bags in the bag web.
These objects are achieved by a method, apparatus and bag web according to the invention.
The method of packing items, liquid or loose goods in foil bags, which in a continuous bag web of bag items is carried through an apparatus with a filling station, is characterized in that the mouths of the bags are kept open for receiving items, after which the bags are closed and separated from the web. In the method, the bag web comprises a zip closure which is arranged parallel to the upper edge of the bag web and is continuous throughout the length of the bag web. The inlet lid is brought in control with first guide means adapted to hold and drive the bag web zip closure along a first portion of a conveyor path. through the apparatus. The filling station comprises bag opening means which, in conjunction with the passage of the bag web, forces the bag mouth edges apart to successively open the bags in the filling station. The bag mouths are again combined by directing the bag web with other guide means which is arranged to hold and drive the bag latch closure along another part of the conveying path through the apparatus. Subsequently, the bag mouths are sealed and sealed. The bag item, which is in the fillDK 2017 70218 A1 station, is opened by forcing the first and second parts of the zipper cover on the side walls of the bag item into the filling station to open the bag mouth.
The invention further relates to a bag web for use in the practice of a method as described above and below, or in an apparatus as described below. The bag web comprises a continuous row of bag items separated by a plurality of slits extending from a bottom edge of the web up to a portion below an upper edge of the bag web. The side edges of the bag blanks are closed by welds at the slits. The bag web comprises an upper rim area above a zip closure, the zip closure being continuous throughout the length of the bag web. The zipper lid is positioned parallel to the upper edge of the bag web and at a distance to the upper end of the slit inserts. This means that the side edges of the bagpipes are not sealed in the portion extending from the upper edge over the upper edge region and to the upper end of the slit inserts.
The bag opening on the bag blank with the zipper lid is thus opened by sealing the side edges of the bag blanks, i.e. the slits of the side edges, against each other in the transport direction in the filling station. Since the zipper lid is both flexible and has some stiffness with respect to the foil layer which constitutes the bag itself, the two parts of the zipper lid will bend outwards and away from each other. When the zipper lid is opened in the filling station during the feeding of the bag web, it can e.g. be done by inserting a vertical finger from the top and down into the bag opening at the front of the filling station. The side walls of the bag banners are not sealed in the upper part between two consecutive bag blanks. At the side edges of the bag web, the finger can continuously open the bag items in the bag webs as they arrive at the filling station. This can be done without moving parts which are carried from the top down into the bag opening.
In addition, the advantage is obtained that when gripping around the zipper lid in order to advance the bag web in the conveying direction, it is no longer necessary to equip the bag web with peripheral areas with perforations or the like to grip pins or similar gripping means on the conveying means. Thereby, the width of the rim area, that is, the area above the zip closure of the bag web, can be reduced to include an edge sufficiently wide to include a seal as well as possibly a break line for simple
DK 2017 70218 A1 opening of the bag between the zipper lid and the seal and / or any means for hanging the bag, e.g. in the rim area above the seal.
According to the invention, it is portions of the bag web itself that the guide means engages for advancing the bag web in the direction of transport. This means that it is no longer necessary to cut away part of the border area before the filled and sealed bag is passed on to the next process step, e.g. packaging in additional packaging for forwarding to storage. This results in a significant reduction in material consumption.
The shape of the bag items in the bag web according to the invention is not of importance to the invention. Therefore, there can be talk of flat bags, including also tip bags, or bags with standing bottoms (also called gusset bags in English). In addition, the sides of the bag may be folded.
Such bags are generally made of plastic films, where at least facing sheets are weldable plastic materials. Multilayer foils can also be used.
The bags may optionally be provided with folded bottom pieces to form standing bags, or the flat sides of the bag may be folded to form a bottom or may be directly stitched together in edge areas along the bottom edge of the bag.
The zip closure in the bag web is typically welded, extruded or glued to the foil. The zipper elements are typically located parallel to the top edge of the bag, defining the opening of the bag and typically a short distance from the top edge.
Preferably, the method comprises opening the bag mouth of the bag at the filling station by briefly stopping or reducing the feed rate of the second guide means and the bag path in the second portion of the conveying path in the opposite direction, while the bag path and the first guide means in the first portion of the conveying path are advancing. bag web.
This simplifies the method and results in fewer moving parts in the apparatus, see also description of the apparatus below.
DK 2017 70218 A1
Alternatively, the method comprises opening the bag mouth of the bag at the filling station by briefly increasing the feed rate in the first feed means and maintaining or decreasing the feed rate in the second feed means.
In another alternative, the method comprises opening the bag mouth of the bag at the filling station by briefly stopping or reducing the feed rate in both the first and second feed means and thus the bag web in the first and second portions of the conveying path, the first portion of the conveying path being slidably mounted in the apparatus, e.g. on a slidable slide, and displaced in the direction of transport to open the bag at the filling station.
As described below, the first portion of the conveyor path is preferably slidably mounted in the apparatus and displaced back and forth in the conveying direction for adaptation to bag size and / or the width of the bag opening. This also allows the bag blanks to be opened in the filling station by using this displaceable unit during filling and displacing the first portion of the conveying path in the transport direction during filling of the bag or at least during insertion of a filling nozzle through the bag opening, thereby providing an alternative and simple way of opening bag mouths on the bag in the filling station while feeding the bag webs through the apparatus.
After filling the stuffing in the bag items, the bag mouth is sealed in the rim area above the zipper lid and the upper portion of the side edges of the bag items. This can be done in one sealing step, which is fast, or as two independent steps. The upper contiguous region of the bag web between two bags is also cut to separate the filled and sealed bags from the bag web.
To ensure that the side edge area across the zipper lid is also properly sealed, the zipper lid can be crushed in the sealing area prior to sealing. This can be done, for example. happen with jaws mashing the zipper lid, or with a device that imparts a blow to the zipper lid in the sealing area. This crushing of the zipper lid can be carried out in a standalone unit or directly adjacent to the sealing unit, e.g. by forming an integral part of the sealing unit.
DK 2017 70218 A1
Alternatively, the crushing of the zip web closure closure may occur in connection with the manufacture of the bag web. This causes the crushing unit to be omitted by the apparatus and avoids having to crush the zipper lid in connection with the bag filling. This allows the apparatus to be simplified and made cheaper and easier to manufacture. This also contributes to increasing the filling speed for the filling of the bag items.
Cutting of the filled bag item from the bag web is done with a cutting station which is an independent unit or alternatively an integral part of the sealing station. If the bag item is to contain a hole for hanging the bag item, this can be punched in the rim area, preferably over the sealing of the bag mouth, either in the cutting and / or sealing station. In addition, any breaking line, preferably located in the region between the sealing of the bag mouth and the zipper lid, can be punched into the foil material, e.g. in the cutting and / or sealing station.
The invention also relates to an apparatus for packing items, liquid or loose goods in foil bags, which are conveyed in a continuous web of bag items through a filling station, in which the bag mouths are kept open for receiving items, while the bags are then closed and separated from the web.
The apparatus comprises a filling station where the bag openings are opened and held open for receiving items and guides which are arranged to hold and guide the bag web along a conveying path through the apparatus, the guide means in connection with this passage forcing the bag mouth edges apart for successively opening the bags in the bag. filling station one and then, after filling the bags, again joins the bag mouth edges to close the bags. The conveying path comprises first and second separately controllable guide means where the first feed means are located at the dry filling station and the second feed means are located after the filling station. First and second feeding means are arranged to grip a zip closure in the bag web which is arranged parallel to the upper edge of the bag web and is continuous throughout the length of the bag web, the zipper lid being brought into control with first guide means adapted to hold and guide the zip web zipper closure along a first portion of a conveyor path to the filling station, and the other guide means being arranged to bring the zip closure into contact with other guide means;

which is arranged to maintain and drive the bag liner zipper closure along the second portion of the conveyor path after the filling station.
This construction means that it is possible to use a portion of the bag web to grasp during the conveying of the bag web in the conveying path. This avoids the need to equip the bag web with wide peripheral areas, which must interact with the conveying means and ensure conveyance in the conveyor path that has been used so far. These broad peripheral areas have been previously cut and have constituted a waste fraction of packaging material. By advancing the bag web through the conveying path of the apparatus by being retained in the zipper lid, it is no longer necessary for the bag cock to be manufactured with wide peripheral areas with gripping means for engagement with the conveying means. In addition, a very simple, fast and efficient way of opening the bag blanks is achieved in the filling station, which utilizes the zipper lid's increased flexibility and stiffness relative to the foil which constitutes the bag bag itself. This is utilized by the fact that it is possible to control the feed rate in the two separate guides means independently of one another. This is utilized to force the sides of the bag item apart in the filling station, e.g. by briefly increasing the feed rate in the first feed means, i.e., before the filling station, relative to the feed rate in the second feed means disposed after the filling station. This causes the side edges of the bag piece to be pushed against each other in the filling station, and the flexibility and stiffness of the zipper causes the two halves of the zipper to bend outward and away from each other, causing an automatic opening of the bag mouth in the filling station. Thus, the bag opening can be opened without the use of gripping means which cooperate with the edge area of the bag web to open the bag mouth.
It is preferred that the means for opening the bag items in the filling station comprise a thirsty vertical downward finger mounted on the first portion of the feeding web to separate each portion of the bag web zip closure upon passing the bag web through the filling station, and preferably a second vertical downward finger. , which is mounted on the second portion of the feed path to hold the bag blank open in the filling station with the first finger.
During transport through the first part of the conveying path, the latch will be closed closed between the gripping means. This can cause the zipper lid to close when a bag item
DK 2017 70218 A1 arrives at the filling station. The halves of the zipper lid can therefore be separated at the entrance to the filling station by passing the sides of the bag web on either side of the vertical finger mentioned above. This ensures that the zipper lid is open in the filling station and that the two halves of the zipper lid have the possibility to bend out and away from each other, as described above and below. Since the side edges of the bag items in the bag web are not sealed in the area above the zipper lid and at some distance below the zipper lid, the finger is able to continuously separate the two halves of the zipper lid during transport of the bag web in the conveying path, also in the area at the side edges between two consecutive bags. The second vertical finger preferably contributes to separating the two halves of the zipper lid and keeping the bag mouth open in the filling station.
By placing the finger or fingers close to the side edge (s) of the bagpipes, the opening of the bag is increased in the filling station. This helps to make it easier to insert one or more filling nozzles into the bag opening and ensure quick and efficient filling of the bag item in the filling station.
The shape of the vertical finger (s) may preferably contribute to affecting the two halves of the zipper cover, for example, by being wedge-shaped, oval, round, or a similar shape which ensures separation of the two halves and furthermore, passing the two halves of the zipper cover away from each other during the passage on either side of the finger or fingers.
The effect of gravity on the filling goods, such as loose goods, results in a downward force, which is usually sufficient for the bottom of the standing bags to unfold without the use of additional equipment. If necessary, the filling nozzle can only be carried out with a long mouthpiece which is pushed all the way down to the bottom of the standing bag in connection with the filling and thus can unfold the bag bottom so that the bag is properly filled. Alternatively, it is also possible to unfold the bottom of the standing bags by at least one of the fingers comprising a telescopic extension which can be inserted into the bag and pressing against the bottom of the standing bag to unfold it. Alternatively, one or both fingers may contain a telescopic air nozzle which blows air toward the bottom for unfolding, preferably before the filling of the bag itself begins.
DK 2017 70218 A1
The guide means in the first and / or second part of the conveying web preferably comprise clamping means arranged to abut each of the outer sides of the web web in the area around the zipper lid for clamping and guiding the web web in the web web.
This provides effective and safe positioning and retention of the bag web in the conveying means. For example, the conveying means comprise at least one strap, preferably two straps, such as a toothed belt, a rubber strap having a surface abutting one or both sides of the bag web zip closure and a region above and below the zip closure,
The gripping surface of the strap or straps may be provided with a profiled surface, with a recess extending in the direction of transport to position the zipper itself during the feed, reducing the risk of the gripping means pressing so hard against the zipper lid that it is damaged. Furthermore, this means that the bag web cannot fall out of the feed means of the apparatus.
Alternatively, the conveying means may comprise belt, spring or chain features on which clamping means are mounted, e.g. in the form of bricks which act as jaws pressed against each other in the area around the zipper's zipper closure for retaining the socket in the feeding means of the apparatus.
As already indicated above, it is preferred that the first part of the conveying path is slidably mounted in the apparatus for displacement in the conveying direction. This allows the filling station to be adapted to the size of the bag items and in particular the width of the bag items by displacing the first part of the conveying path forward and / or back in the transport direction. This is preferably done automatically, e.g. by entering the bag size and / or bag width in the control system of the apparatus, or alternatively, the position of the first portion of the conveying path may be manually adjusted prior to each filling.
A spear may be provided which engages the through-open channel formed in the bag web under the zipper lid and over the upper end of the seal at the side edges of the bag blanks. This spear is placed under the first guide means and guides the bag web in the direction of transport and correctly into the first guide means.
Apparatus according to the invention preferably comprises control means adapted for
DK 2017 70218 A1
- briefly stopping all the other guide means and the bag path in the second part of the conveying path, while the first guide means in the first part of the transport path continue to advance the bag path towards the filling station,
- briefly increasing the feed rate in the first feed means and maintaining or reducing the feed rate in the second feed means, or
briefly stopping or lowering the feed rate of both the first and second feed means and thus the bag web in the first and second portions of the conveying path and displacing the first displaceable portion of the conveying path in the conveying direction, to open the bag blank located in the filling station.
This results in a compact apparatus which contributes to the possibility of using bag webs without special gripping agents in the peripheral areas. In addition, this provides a fully automatic, fast and efficient opening of the bags in the filling station, which contributes to the increase in filling speed.
When the bag "worms" through the apparatus in the manner described above, a simple and effective control of bag transport is achieved through the apparatus. This can also help to increase the filling speed as there are fewer stops in the bag web transport through the apparatus.
As mentioned above in connection with the description of the method according to the invention, the apparatus after the filling station comprises one or more welding stations for sealing the bag mouth and / or the side edge in the upper continuous region of the side edges of the bag blanks and a cutting station for separating the filled and sealed bag blanks from the bag web.
A conveyor may be mounted underneath the conveyor path in all or part of the length of the apparatus, including especially during and after the filling station. The conveyor supports the bag blanks during and after the filling and ensures correct filling afterwards and proper sealing of the bag blanks.

Detailed description of the invention
FIG. 1 shows a bag web 1 according to the invention, comprising a series of bag blanks 2. Between the upper edge area 3 and the bag blanks, a zipper closure 4. The bag blanks 2 are connected at the area at side edges 5 of the bag blanks 2 at the upper edge area 3, thus forming and jobs 1.
Below the zipper lid 4, in the region of the sealed side edges 5 of the bag blanks 2 is an area 6 that is not sealed. The sides of the bag web are preferably made of foil, including also laminates, and laminates comprising layers of paper or metal, the layer or layers of foil facing each other in the bag blanks 2 being weldable to form the side edges 5 of the bag blanks 2.
The bag blanks 2 of the bag web 1 are separated by a plurality of slits extending from a bottom edge of the web up to a portion below an upper edge of the bag web. The side edges 5 of the bag blanks are closed by welds at the slots 5a. The bag web comprises an upper rim area above a zip closure, the zip closure being continuous throughout the length of the bag web. The zipper cover is arranged parallel to the upper edge of the bag web and at a distance to the upper end of the slots 5a.
DK 2017 70218 A1 side edges 5 are not sealed in the portion extending from the upper edge over the upper edge area 3 and to the upper end of the slit 5a.
The shape of the bag blanks 2 is shown in FIG. 1 and the other figures as flat bags, but may, as already described above, also have other configurations.
Figs. 2-4 show a first possible embodiment of an apparatus for packing loose goods or floating items in the bag items 2, respectively, in perspective, from the side and from above.
The bag web 1 is conveyed through the filling apparatus 7 along a conveying path. The apparatus 7 comprises a filling station 9, where the bag mouth 10 is kept open during the filling for receiving goods, liquids or articles. After filling the bags 2, the bag mouth 10 is closed by sealing the bag mouth in the upper edge area 3 of the bag 2. This is done in a sealing unit 12 arranged after the filling station 9 in the direction of the conveying path. A cooling unit 13 is preferably arranged after the sealing unit 12.
After the sealing of the bag mouth 10 in the filled bag 2, a crushing of the zipper lid 4 is possible in a crushing unit 14. The crushing of the zipper lid 4 takes place in the area over the side edges 5 of the bag items, see dotted marking in equal. 1 to ensure that the subsequent sealing of the upper portion of the bags by the side edges 5, i.e. in the area marked with dotted mark in fig. 1, becomes dense and effective. The zipper closure is crushed in the illustrated embodiment of the apparatus 7 with jaws 14a clamping at a predetermined distance to the zipper lid 4 in the area above the side edge 5, where the subsequent sealing of the upper portion of the side edge 5 of the bag is to be performed. The jaws 14a may be formed as vertical elevations on a rotary unit which squeezes the upper edge region of the bag blank over the side edge 5 seal. Alternatively, in a variant of the apparatus not shown, jaws 14a may be disposed on each side of the bag blank which squeezes into the zipper lid by a linear motion perpendicular to the bag blank.
This crushing of the zipper lid 4 can be performed in a standalone unit, as shown in FIGS. 2-4. Alternatively, crushing of the zipper lid 4 may occur in or directly adjacent to the sealing unit 12, e.g. by forming an integral part of the sealing unit 12
GB 2017 70218 A1 or a subsequent (not shown) unit for sealing the upper non-sealed part of the side edges of the bag items 5.
After sealing the upper portion of the side edges 5 of the bag items 2, the filled bag is separated from the bag web in a cutting unit (not shown).
It is not necessary to cut material of the border area 3 of the bag blank 2, since the invention has made it unnecessary to form the bag webs 1 with wide border areas 3 with gripping means cooperating with conveying means to pass the bag web 1 through the bag 7 for filling the bags 2.
The welding station 13 or the subsequent cutting unit may also optionally contain a unit which marks a rupture line in the edge area of the bag item 3. This rupture line extends between the sealing line for sealing the bag mouth and above the zipper lid 4,
Passage of the bag web 1 through the apparatus 7 is effected by means of the zipper lid 4. The zipper lid 4 is brought into control with first guide means 8, which is arranged to hold and guide the zipper lid 4 of the bag web 1 along a first part of a transport path through the apparatus 7 to the filling station. 9
The first portion of the conveyor path with the first guide means 8 is preferably slidably mounted in the apparatus 7 and is displaced back and forth in the direction of transport, as shown by the arrow b for adaptation to bag size and / or the width of the bag opening. This is preferably done automatically, e.g. by entering bag size and / or bag width in the apparatus control system, or alternatively, the position of the first portion of the conveyor path, which is preferably a movable carriage mounted in the apparatus, can be manually adjusted prior to each filling. Manual adjustment means can e.g. include fasteners such as one or more bolts and associated nuts, e.g. wing nuts arranged through a slot (parallel to the direction of transport) in the carriage and a bore in the frame of the apparatus 7.
During transport through the first lining means 8 and the second feeding means 11, it is preferred that the zipper cover 4 is closed during feeding as this reduces
DK 2017 70218 A1 the risk of the zipper lid being destroyed when squeezed between the guide means 8.11 gripping means. This will often cause the zipper lid to be closed even when the bag web 1 is inserted into the apparatus 7 or at least when a bag item 2 arrives at the filling station 9 after contact with the first guiding means 8. The halves of the zipper 4 must therefore be separated at the entrance to the filling station. 9. This is done by passing the sides of the bag web 1 on each side of bag opening means 15 which in conjunction with the passage of the bag web forcing the bag mouth edges apart, as shown by the arrow c in FIG. 7 for successively opening the bags in the filling station 9.
The bag mouths are again joined by directing the bag web 1 with other guide means 11 which is arranged to hold and drive the bag latch closure 4 along another portion of the conveyor path through the apparatus 7.
The bag blank located in the filling station 9 is opened by forcing the first and second portions of the zipper lid 4 on the side walls of the bag blank into the filling station 9 to open the bag mouth 10.
The bag mouth of the bag item 2 in the filling station 9 with the zipper lid 4 is thus opened by the side edges 5 of the bag names 5, i.e. the side edges 5 and slits 5a, being directed towards each other in the transport direction in the filling station 9. Since the zipper lid 4 is both flexible and has a certain stiffness relative to the foil layer which constitutes the bag item 2 itself, the two halves of the zipper lid 4 will bend outwards and away from each other.
The zipper lid 4 is opened in the filling station 9 during the feeding of the bag web 1 into the filling station 9. This is done by a first vertical finger 15a being inserted from the top down into the bag opening 10, ie. at the forward end of the filling station 9. Preferably, the dry vertical finger 15a is mounted on the first portion of the conveying path which comprises the first guide means 8.
As mentioned, the side edges 5 of the bagpieces 2 are not sealed in the upper portion 6 between two consecutive bagpieces 2 in the bag web 1, thus, the first vertical finger 15a can continuously open the zipper lid 4 of the bagpieces 1 as they arrive at the filling station 9. happen without moving parts.
DK 2017 70218 A1
After the filling station 9, other guide means 11 are arranged, which again engage the bag zipper through zipper 4 in the same way as the first guide means 8.
In order to help keep the bag mouth 10 open in the filling station 9 and to ensure that the two halves of the zipper lid 4 are properly brought back together after the filling station 9, second vertical finger 15b is preferably placed on the second part of the conveying path, which comprises the other guide means. 11th
The bag mouth 10 of the bag 2 in the filling station 9 is opened by briefly stopping or reducing the feed rate in the second guide means and the bag path in the second part of the conveying path in the opposite direction, while the bag path and the first guide means in the first part continue to convey a conveying path through the filling station.
Alternatively, the bag mouth is opened on the bag at the filling station by briefly stopping or reducing the feed rate in both the first 8 and second 9 feed means and down the bag web 1 in the first and second portions of the conveying path, and the first portion of the conveying path is slidably mounted in the apparatus 7 and displaced. in the direction of transport, as indicated by the arrow a for opening the bag in the filling station 9.
This additionally allows the bag blanks to also be opened in the filling station 9 by using this displaceable unit 8 during filling and displacing the first portion of the conveying path in the transport direction during filling of the bag, or at least during insertion of a filling nozzle through the bag opening 10.
Cutting of the filled bag item 2 from the bag web is carried out with a cutting station (not shown) which is an independent unit or alternatively an integral part of the sealing station 12. If the bag item must contain a hole (not shown) for hanging the bag item, this can be punched in the edge region, preferably over the sealing of the bag mouth, e.g. either in the cutting and / or sealing station12. In addition, any breaking line, preferably located in the region between the sealing of the bag mouth and the zipper lid, can be punched into the foil material, e.g. in the cutting and / or sealing station
12th
DK 2017 70218 A1
If the bag web 1 comprises standing bags with folded bottom, it is possible to unfold the bottom of the standing bags 2 by at least one of the vertical fingers 15a, 15b comprising a telescopic extension which can be inserted into the bag and pressing against the bottom of the standing bag to extend it. . Alternatively, one or both of the vertical fingers 15a, 15b may contain a downwardly directed air nozzle, which may be telescopically disposed in at least one of the vertical fingers 15a, 15b. Thus, the air nozzle can blow compressed air against the bottom to extend the standing floor, preferably before the filling of the bag itself starts.
The first guide means 8 are shown in FIGS. 5-6. The guide means 8 in the first and / or second portions of the conveying web preferably comprise clamping means adapted to abut each of the outer sides of the bag web in the area of the zipper lid for clamping and guiding the bag web in the conveying web.
The guide means 8 preferably comprise at least one strap 16, preferably two straps 16, with a gripping surface 17 abutting at least one or preferably both sides of the zip web 4 of the bag web 1 and a region above and below the zip lid 4.
The belts 16 are preferably endless belts with drive means (not shown) driven synchronously by one or more motors (not shown), preferably stepper motors or servomotors. By using step or servomotors, the movement of the bag web is precise and can be controlled to know exactly where the bag items are in relation to the individual stations, e.g. the filling, welding, crushing and / or cutting station of the apparatus 7.
The gripping surface 17 of the strap 16 or straps 16 may be provided with a profiled surface with a groove 18 extending in the direction of transport to position the zipper cover 4 itself during the feeding.
Alternatively, the guide means 8 may comprise belt, spring or chain pull 19 on which clamping means 20 are mounted e.g. in the form of bricks that sound like jaws 20 pressed against each other around the bag web 2 in the area around the bag web zipper closure 4 for retaining the bag web in the conveying means 8,111 apparatus 7.
Optionally, a spear (not shown) may be disposed which interferes with the through open channel 6 formed in the bag web under the zipper lid 4 and over the upper end of the
GB 2017 70218 A1 sealing at the side edges of the bag blanks 5. This spear is placed under the first guide means and guides the bag path in the transport direction and correctly into the first guide means.
The second guiding means 11 in the second part of the conveying path after Fig. The station corresponds to the first guiding means 8. The second guiding means 11 are preferably not displaceable in the direction of transport. Preferably, the second guide means 11 comprise the same clamping means adapted to abut each of the outer sides of the bag web in the area of the zipper closure for clamping and guiding the bag web in the feed web as described for the first guide means 8. In addition, the driving means for the second guide means 11 preferably also identical to the first guide means described above 8,
In order to achieve fully automatic, fast and efficient opening of the bags in the filling station and increasing the filling speed, the apparatus according to the invention preferably comprises control means (not shown in the figures) arranged for
briefly stopping the second guide means 11 and the bag path 1 in the second part of the conveying path, while the first guide means 8 in the first part of the conveying path continue to advance the bag path towards the filling station 9, or
briefly stopping or lowering the feed rate of both the first 8 and second feed means 11 and thus the bag web 1 in the first and second portions of the conveying path and displacing the first displaceable portion 8 of the conveying path in the conveying direction to open the bag blank located in the filling station .
Figs. 8-12 show a variant of the apparatus 7 according to the invention. The elements of this variant are substantially as described above, this variant being distinguished by including one or two sets of retaining jaws 21 which clamp around the rim area 3 of the bag web and the zipper lid 4, as illustrated by arrows d in FIGS. 10-12, at the exit of the filling station 9 and optionally also at the entrance of the filling station 9 in connection with the opening of the bag mouth 10.
The holding jaws 21b at the exit of the filling station 9 may optionally completely replace the second vertical finger 15b.
The retaining jaws 21a at the entrance to the filling station may be omitted.
DK 2017 70218 A1
A conveyor 22 may be mounted below the conveyor path in all or part of the length of the apparatus 7, including especially during and after the filling station 9. This is illustrated in Figs. 2-3, wherein a conveyor 22 is arranged below the conveyor path throughout the length of the apparatus. The conveyor 22 can, of course, also be added to one of the other aforementioned apparatus 7 and / or the variants shown in the other figures.
